Figs auto repair took great care of my car! They test drove my car to find the issues, were honest about repairs needed and what repairs I could hold off on. They were thorough, performed the service efficiently, and were very kind and helpful. I had a great experience and would return to them as my trusted auto mechanics!

Highly recommend! I knew my car needed a lot of work and they were very honest on what was found and what was needed. Johnny communicated every step of the process and was very fair with pricing when an obstacle hit regarding my old tires and caused extra work for them. I really appreciate it and my car drives like new!

I cannot speak highly enough about this shop! My family and I were on our way back home to Florida from the mountains when our car had a coolant leak. We had it fixed in the mountains only to have another one show up the night before we were to leave. I created an appointment online (which is so nice of a shop to have!) and brought it in as soon as they were open. I explained to the shop my situation and with compassion was told they would prioritize the job and get me on the road as fast as possible. They were so great through the whole process. Everyone interacted with at the shop was kind and professional. They knocked out the fairly major repair in just a few hours by doing all they could (from ordering expedited parts right away to breaking it down before they had the parts in hand). Figs is one of those rare business that treat their costumers the way they want to be treated. Thanks team for helping me and my family get home to Florida!

I'm so happy I found Figs as I've had several car issues since January that have been super frustrating to deal with. John and the other employees at Figs were able to walk me through everything and provide helpful insight. This is one of the only auto repair shops I've been to in Charlotte where I didn't feel taken advantage of, and where they actually took the time to explain the issues and my options.

Let me start by saying if I could give 100 stars I would. I initially wasn't too sure if I should bring my German car to freedom drive to get fixed due to past issues in the area. When I called I spoke with Jeremy he was so polite and very courteous and understanding I told him people were giving me astronomical prices but wasn't really telling me what was going on with my car he advised he will try to do his best. I had my car towed there once towed Johnny walked me through the process step by step they sent over the issue.I approved and was all set the next day. $288 opposed to $3000 that BMW was trying to get from me. I will continually use figs auto for all of my repairs in the future. They were honest and very nice group of gentlemen. They even waited after hours for me when picking up my car

I had an outstanding experience at this automotive shop, and I can’t recommend them enough! From start to finish, the customer service was top-notch. Dante, the technician, was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in detail. It’s clear he genuinely cares about his work and ensures that every vehicle gets the attention it deserves. Greg, the owner, was equally impressive. He made sure to check in and personally address all of my concerns, showing that he truly values his customers and stands behind his business. It’s rare to find such a hands-on, involved owner who genuinely listens. Johnny, the service advisor, was also fantastic. He was efficient, friendly, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. It’s evident that the team works seamlessly together to provide the best experience possible. Friendly team, I booked from 3-5 for my coolant change and transmission fluid change. They got my car in and out on time. The lobby has Wi-Fi, outlets, and different seating options. Their invoices break down consumables (I.e., oil, coolant) and labor to be easier to understand. My service was around $500, which is market standard for my vehicle.

Greg(owner) is extremely professional and his shop was able to do a complete diagnostic on my car and was able to figure out everything that was wrong with it. They provided text updates throughout the entire process as well. They are one of the few honest shops out there and I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

My car needed a new wheel bearing but it had some other prerequisite problems and Johnny and the owner personally made sure that every issue was resolved. It took a couple of tries and a few days but they gave me a loaner car so I still had a car to use. The first couple of days, they even called Lyfts for me so I didn’t have to sit and wait in their waiting room all day. Great service, but even better customer service. They actually care about their clients’ happiness.

I’ve lived in Charlotte my whole life and have taken my car to many mechanics. About 3 years ago I went to Figs and now I take all of my vehicles to them, and them only. They do the best work, guarantee their work, and their customer service is unmatched. They have never tried to needlessly upsell me and always explain in detail the work that needs to be done. I recommend all of my family and friends to them, and shouldn’t have waited so long to give them the 5 stars they deserve!

The Fig's service crew members are outstanding, and they make customers feel appreciated. Johnny is very knowledgeable and professional and walked us through the process. The work we needed was explained in great detail and the price was reasonable and explained ahead of time. No surprises.

Figs has been my go to spot since I’ve moved to Charlotte! Their portal is very convenient for creating an appointment, as well as viewing and approving services that are suggested by the techs. They do a great job of laying out the work they suggest with the price so there’s no confusion! They’re very quick with the service and respectful of your time, I highly recommend Figs for anything from an oil change to transmission work!

I had my car in about 2-3 months ago because I needed a new battery. I asked them to do a diagnostic because my check engine light had been on (which was an additional $200). It occurred to me they never even did the test because the check engine light turns off after replacing or disconnecting a battery, meaning they charged me for a diagnostic I never got… Another thing, I feel as though they took advantage of me with the type of battery I needed. $500 for a car battery and gave me no other options for batteries. I was told if I left a good review, John would knock a few $$ off. The real kicker is… my engine completely failed telling me they definitely never ran a diagnostic. If you’re female and don’t know a lot about cars, please don’t go here.

Fig's is the only place we take our cars. Our Mazda had been sitting neglected for months, got it towed there and they had the initial diagnostic done the next day. Massive bill, (dead tires, dead brakes, dead starter, we blew out the AC system and never got it fixed), but by all accounts fairly priced. The highlight for me is John. Every time we spoke on the phone, he was patient and empathetic, making sure I understood everything that needed to be done and why it costs what it does. Couldn't ask for a better personality leading the solid crew there. Thanks John, if we have to pay a king's ransom for our car, I'm glad to have a knowledgeable and kind voice on the other end. I recommend Fig's to anybody with a vehicle, and some without.

What a day! Thanks to FIGS, specifically John and Greg I am headed back home right now instead of being stranded on the side of the road. Thanks to their amazing attention to detail, their honesty and their kind heartedness I was able to get my car in and out in one day and able to get on my way home! If you need help they will treat you right, with respect and kindness and understanding! I cannot recommend them more! If you’re needing your car worked on please think about trusting them! It’s hard being a woman and finding mechanics who won’t mess with you. They proved themselves to me! Thanks John! Thanks Greg! Keep up the good work!
