Got tricked by these guys. After paying $40 to have the error code read to me, I was told to come back the next day at a specific time to have a part replaced. I returned the next day, I was the only car at the shop the entire time I was there. After 40 minutes of my car in the shop, Kenneth came back and told me they didn’t have the part and he would go get it. I did get to see him eat lunch first, though. Another 45 minutes went by and he returned and told me they’d have the part delivered later and that I should wait. Mechanics were in the back playing on their phones while my car sat idle for the entire time. I had to leave after hours of waiting to go to a drs appointment. No work had been started and I asked the mechanic in the garage to help me get out of there so I could leave if Ken wasn’t back in the next five minutes. After that time had elapsed, my car was driven out of the garage. I left and just made my Dr appointment on time. I was brought in with no plan to replace the part. There were no others cars there at any point besides mine. Ken seems like a friendly guy. And his staff helped me get out of there when I had to leave. But this situation was operated without respect for the customer’s time, or with honesty about the availability that work would be able to be performed. There was never an apology for having me wait well past the scheduled start of the repairs, I was kept waiting with no updates about when I could expect work to begin. It seems like Ken’s strategy to customer service is to fight back and never admit a mistake. More transparency or accountability would have gone a long way to avoiding me writing my first ever Google review.

Ken &John always provide , Honest & Excellent Service. They gave an estimate for the time & cost to fix it. Said it would take about 2 days but called me that car was ready in just 1 day & the part cost had gone down. That was awesome so I didn’t have to rent a car. Being a New Yorker I know great service when I get it. I just moved to the area & would recommend them to anyone looking for Great , Honest Service.

I highly recommend bringing your vehicle over to Kenneth at Finley’s Auto Repair and Performance. I had a very bad coolant leak in my 2012 VW Tiguan, and it ended up being a bad water pump. From the start, he was honest about what the issue might be and was very fair in determining a price for labor and parts. He even changed my oil for me free of charge. Thank you, Kenneth and team! You’ve got a customer for life 👍

Can't say enough good things about Johnathan and the rest of the team at Finley. I brought my Toyota Yaris in for some standard 120k mile maintenance, and due to my car making some sound that I wanted checked out. They inspected the car bumper-to-bumper, and told me what was wrong, as well as what was urgent vs what could wait. They gave me an itemized list of what the parts and labor would cost for each thing, and didn't do any work until I signed off on each of them. Their prices were fair, they did fantastic work, and they had my car road-ready again within 24 hours! I'll recommend them to everyone I know.

Google maps is broken and wont let me give this place 10 stars... I took my Honda Element in with what i assumed was dying transmission issues and told them that I thought I needed a new one, that it was original to the car and that it had nearly 200,000 miles on it. I wasn't on the schedule I was a walk-in. 45 minutes later they called me, told me that I didn't need a new transmission that I had broken engine mounts and broken transmission mounts which was causing a vibration that made it seem like my transmission was dying. I was ready to spend upwards of three grand and they only charged me $600 to repair what was actually broken, and not make a buck. honesty in car mechanic is hard to come by this day and age, where the techs are just taught to press buttons, but they are different, they love cars.... These people were unbelievably stellar. And my car runs like a dream. They could have taken me to the cleaners instead they created a customer.

Highly recommend. My pickup was overheating to the point it wasn't drivable in the area. Saw the great reviews. Managed to get me in next day. They will tell you straight what needs to be done with no padding. Stand up guys

I took my 1978 K10 there to add an Msd box an to add some bucket seats. They done the bucket seats ok but I found out during the process. I could have gotten new seats and mounts cheaper than they charged me to mount the seats that I brought them. Then the MSD I never had a cranking problem. But now I do. I even towed the truck back to them cause when I got it back home it wouldn’t start. So I towed it back to them at my cost, when I showed up it wouldn’t crank. But a few minutes later it started. Now I have it back home and it will not start. Going back tomorrow to see if they can fix the problem.

Needed an ABS wheel sensor replaced along with the fender liner. Had already taken it to another auto shop, but they was scared to do this type of job, fearing it would cause other problems if they attempted to do the job. So I was searching around on google and read Finley's reviews and gave them a shot at it. They were phenomenal. They took the time to look at my situation without charging me a fee. Then proceeded to order the parts, and when the parts arrived they installed it in less than an hour. My car is back running great now. Thank you "Finley's Auto Repair and Performance" for great auto repair service.

Finley's went above and beyond fixing my turbocharged FRS. I brought it in after it was driving unusually and they were quick to diagnose and solve the issue. They thoroughly exceeded my expectations when they found and fixed other impending issues that if not caught would have led to serious damage. Furthermore, the services they provided were very cheap and of high quality. I would highly recommend them.

Great service! I received a thorough explanation of the issue with my engine and given options of ways to proceed along with recommendations. My decade old VW was fixed within the day that the part was received as communicated prior. I plan to go back for any future maintenance.

Ive known John for some time now as he's always been my go to mechanic. Really knowledgeable and doesn't try to screw you like other mechanics. Work is always on point and i wouldnt personally recommend anyone else with the most recent fix being my brake pads. Easy drop off and pick up knowing my car is in good hands.

My vehicle was due for inspection but due to a recent accident, I knew it wouldn't pass. The guys were able to inspect my car and give me an estimate for repairs. I explained that I only wanted to fix the failed areas of my car and they didn't pressure me to get more work done. Pricing was itemized and honest. I actually paid slightly less than what they estimated. Work was completed the same day and John provided excellent communication. I'll certainly be back if I decide to have further repairs done.

The Crew at Finley's was helpful, honest and efficient!! They got my car done in record time and shaved some of the cost down. Hopefully I won't have to go back anytime soon but I'd definitely recommend them:)

The guys over at Finleys have been some the most helpful people! I had been having a few issues with my AC. Not only did they get me in same day to make sure I didn't have to run aound without AC. They made sure we were comfortable and understood the entire process! They clearly explained everything so that you don't feel like you're getting the run a round. These guys do amazing work and truly take care with every job. Definitely will be recommending their services! I appreciate all their work again.

Dropped my vehicle off July 2nd 2021 for engine work, never elaborated that I needed to pay for my parts upfront! Which was not a problem! But even after I paid for the parts no work was done, I came to this establishment twice for update no call, I got nothing but excuses everytime!!!! Ken business etiquette is trash!!!!!!!! I just ended all business with him 5 weeks nothing done to my vehicle! What a waste of time!!!! I wouldn’t recommend this establishment to anyone all honesty
