Tried to rip my girl off 2 grand over one punctured tire telling her she needed to get all 4 as a set and all this extra stuff done I came and switched out tire next day wanted to ask a simple question to one of the employees who tried to help me but the manager came out saying he wasn't gonna let them answer any questions or help

Even with a weekday appointment, you can expect to wait at least 2 hours. Usually more like 3-4. My car had a “maintenance required” alert so they did a full car inspection and came up with around $770+ worth of issues (air filter, rear brakes, all 4 tires, wheel alignment) despite taking good care of my car (which the technician even commented on when I first came in). I came in around 9:30. They’d finished the inspection and given me this list of issues at 11:30. I only agreed to replacing the air filter, and he said they didn’t have it at the store so it would take ~35 minutes. 2 hours later and I finally decided to ask him what was going on. I saw him walk into the back and pick up the box with the air filter and then my car was ready within 10 minutes. I think he gave me a $5 coupon, but otherwise paid full price despite waiting at the store for 4 hours. Extremely frustrating, but unfortunately not abnormal for this location.

Pros: they did the job, and they did it quickly. Cons: wildly expensive and tried to upsell me on several other items. My vehicle was throwing an error for the tire pressure monitor system. Bought a new set of tires here a while back, so thought I’d give them a shot to have a look. Had a bad monitor in one tire. Firestone replaced it for all-in cost of $318.08 ($49 diagnostic fee plus $269 parts and labor). I knew the quote was high when they gave it to me but authorized the work since I was already there, didn’t want to miss more time from work, etc. I could’ve bought one if not two new tires for that much! After I got home, I called Discount Tire to confirm my suspicion that this was too expensive. Discount Tire quoted $60 for the same service. Live and learn. As they say, you can shear a sheep many times but skin it only once. I won’t be going back to Firestone. They did a good job, but the charges were unreasonable considering the work done.

The manager should be fired he is absolutely so rude. Came here for years and will never go back. They ruined my tires and did nothing to accommodate. Please please please do not go here and pay this man's paycheck he is the worst man I've ever encountered.

Came by for scheduled appointment on tires we bought from Firestone. Couldn't get to office w/o tech screaming at me to move my vehicle. No parking available, so not sure what he expected.

Dropped my vehicle at 10 am on Saturday (made an appointment detailing what was needed) was told I could pick it up the next day (Sunday). I called Sunday and was told that I “also needed brakes and they didn’t get approval from the Fleet maintenance company for brakes yet but Everything else was approved”. (I took the vehicle in due to grinding brakes so I’m not sure why they didn’t submit the brakes for approval initially), but it would be done the next day (Monday) I made arrangements for Monday. Called again on Monday to see if the vehicle was done and a man who answered said “we don’t have a tool to finish so it won’t be done until tomorrow” when I explained I HAD to have the vehicle for the next day he put me on hold. The mgr came on and said “sorry we’re working on it now and it’ll be done tonight even if we have to stay late!” A few hrs later I received a call from the mgr stating they had “received the wrong rotors and couldn’t complete the job until the next day” I went to the shop and got a few thing I needed and was told by the mgr they would have it done by noon. I wasn’t able to pick up until Tuesday evening at 5:45 pm!!!! They had my vehicle for 4 days! I was unable to use it for 2 working days and had to make other arrangements! I’ve used other locations and had no issues! Not sure why this location had issues

Firestone: 10515 Mopac Update: giving a 4-star from a 1-star since the regional manager discussed this with me to get a resolution, and also stated he is working with staff to try and prevent these kind of issues! Made an appt. Was told they could do the work that day. I received no call and arrived right before closing time only to be told they didn’t service my car because they did not have the techs for it. The first day I scheduled for the service, they said they didn’t know if they could do the work then. This is the first time in my whole time of driving that someone didn’t even bother calling me to state the work can’t be done, and my car was always serviced when I was told by an auto tech it would be. AVOID THIS PLACE! It’s so poorly managed, under staffed, and they’re obviously over booking customers. It’s totally unprofessional that they run their business this way. I spoke with corporate and filed a complaint on this establishment location. Just look at the other reviews! They’re basically the same complaints!

Made an appointment for my van, received a call to confirm tires and oil change (using oil change coupon for 30) when we get in, my oil change is being quoted at almost $100. When I point that out, the desk boy gets an attitude and says they don't have the oil requested. Cool. So we go ahead with tires and leave. 2 hours later we show back up, no calls, and get even more attitude from desk boy. He then proceeds to run his mouth until we walk out the door with his supervisor telling him the entire time to just stop, which he's ignoring. What an absolute joke! We get it, dude is clearly miserable with his life, don't project that on customers just because we don't want to ignore unapproved up charges

Ron, the manager, is super friendly and provided a ton of help. I stopped in here to have some work done on my wife's car without an appointment, and he was able to help get me taken care of. 10/10

My car was in desperate need of work but the previous shop had given me an insane quote and were not trustworthy. Chris fit me in inbetween other appointments, went absolutely above and beyond, and made sure that everything was done immaculately. They ended up fixing more than what the 1st shop caught, and it was still significantly less money. The entire shop is fantastic. I’m not surprised they are incredibly busy as the work is second to none.

Went to this location with little option and it has been a headache since the word go. Said they wouldn’t charge us for the diagnostic since our warranty wouldn’t cover the repairs and said our vehicle was ready to be towed so we could fix it ourselves. Couldn’t find the key when we were ready to go and when we went in to ask they initially couldn’t find the key but then said we owed for the diagnostic. Only after threatening to call the police and showing them the voice mail where they said the vehicle was good to go and no mention of a fee did they finally find the key and gave it to us. During the conversation they refused to get a manager and when they finally did get a manager they told us to shut up. They were misleading, rude, and unhelpful. Will never come back or recommend.

A mechanic helped in tire inflation right before closing the store. Another young mechanic was very busy but still ran out to screw on my number plate and put the tight cover on my steering wheel. All these were free and they denied tip even though they were very busy.

I came in with an issue of my car rattling. They incorrectly diagnosed my tires as a balancing issue. Service was fast without an appointment and I paid. But as I got in the highway the issue was worse than before. I came in again as the advisor told me to if it wasn’t fixed. I had to pay again for them to inspect my tires ( which should have been done the first time I came in) and they found the actually issue. Their suggestion was four new tires.I returned to my car interior being left dirty with black marks all over. I took my car to another tire shop and when they inspected my wheels they were shocked to find almost 12 weights in each of my tires (again should have been an indicator of a possible bigger issue). They removed the wights and repaired the loose foam lining in my wheel and sent me in my way. I left Firestone feeling like you cannot trust them to treat you car with care and that the priority isn’t fixing the issue but making as much money off of whatever your problem is.

Made an appointment for an oil change in the morning before I had to drive to Houston for a funeral. Was told it would take 2 hours and then it actually took 4 hours. Staff was aware of my appointment and need to leave for a funeral and still had no sense of urgency so I missed the viewing and pretty much the whole funeral. Despite the first bad experience I gave this location another chance to do a diagnostic for CEL and they were able to figure out the issue but never sent me any information regarding the issue because it was a “refer to dealer” situation. Was told the manager would call me but he never did. When I came to pick up my car it was left overnight in the parking lot unlocked for idk how long. I guess they can do their job but very slowly and with very poor customer service.

People at this location are extremely friendly. The only thing I was not a fan of was that the employee was about to charge me regular price instead of the discounted price. If I didn't do my research before heading over there I probably would have paid regular price but despite all of that the friendliness of the staff makes up for it.

People were nice service would have been great but when they were doing the wheel alignment they broke a bolt and said that an alignment pin was broken as wheel guess what? I had to pay for there mistake 300 some dollors apart from the $189 of the alignment . Wow that’s was crazy

Absolutely make sure your tires are balanced correctly. We just learned how little these people pay attention. Insane safety hazard. Who needs this much weight to balance a tire?!? What is the point of having the markers if you aren’t going to pay attention. How many other cars did they do incorrectly that day???? My truck has been wobbling all over the road. Insane. Nobody cares how they do their jobs.

All-around just great service at the Arbor Walk Firestone! I specifically go to this Firestone location when I have a planned repair. The staff here take the time to explain repairs and they are honest with their recommended services. They clearly explain what repairs are needed for safety, or for the vehicle to run at its best, and what can wait, or is just nice to have. If a mistake is made, they work to make it right, too.

Great service. Shane did awesome job aligning Tesla Model X with n2itive adjustable rear control arms. He took great care and made sure it was done right and well within spec. I think he is the only one in town that knows how to do it correctly, which is surprising with the number of Teslas in Austin. Manufacture also recommended him. Thanks Shane!!

This is a great location. Everyone I spoke to either in person or over the phone were very respectful, insightful, and knowledgeable. They weren’t pushy on selling additional services and took care of me in a timely fashion. I opted for the lifetime alignment and I feel like it was money well spent if I’m going to have the same experience for my next alignment. Thanks!
