If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I made an appointment for 2 pm for just a state inspection. When I got there they said they were backed up and it would be 2 - 2 1/2 hours. I told them no problem and I grabbed an uber (I only live around the corner). I called at 530 and was told they were going to try and get it done same day. I showed up at 630 (they close at 7), and was told I was next in line. I took my car an left. I get you can be backed up, but it is crazy to leave your car of over 4 1/2 hours for an inspection. Plus they didn't even give me a call to let me know anything. This place is terrible. Go anywhere else you can.

Outer tire wall had a large tear Sunday evening. They fit us in, had our car ready the next day with new tires. Really appreciate the speediness and flexibility

This place has let me down more than once, I'm done here. Had a 9am appointment, waited around for 3HOURS, and they haven't even pulled into the shop. All I needed was 2 new tires. Joke of a tire company.

I was extremely satisfied with the level of service that I received. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and caring about my needs. This is the only shop that I will take any of my vehicles to.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! I called to make an appointment and spoke to a woman there, she told me i was booked for an appointment friday afternoon, she got all my information and told me was confirmed to come. When i showed up i was told i was never booked for today and they did not have anymore openings today. On top of that they wouldn’t have any available appointments for an oil change until 5 days later. Cherry on top I was told this employee does this pretty often. not sure why she is still employed there just to waste peoples time. Please just go somewhere else or unfortunately be unconvinced and drive up there to make an appointment in person, just make sure you don’t talk to the female. BE AWARE!

Employees were very polite, courteous and helpful. The phone call to tell me my car was ready was very much appreciated. Their recommended add-ons were suggested but not pushed down your throat. Completely satisfied with my visit.

Firestone Arboretum was my go to for my cars. WAS. I went for oil change and tire rotation as usual, and was told my rotors were bad and needed replacement. WHAT? My car has 24,000 miles on it. Since I bought it in 2019 I've only put 12,000 on it. I do not drive much, obviously, and I service it more than needed considering that. I know that rotors take at least 75,000 to need replacement unless you're a crazy race maniac, which I am not. They assumed a woman wouldn't know any better. They were wrong! I declined and took my car to Mavis Tire and Brake on Park Road. I told them what Firestone had said. They took me into the service area to show me the rotors; smooth as glass & looking nearly new. Firestone tried to screw me out of thousands of dollars! I'd been going there for 20 years! The visit before, I had declined a radiator flush and fill, yet they said it was done and they tried to charge me. Turns out, a certain employee had a habit of doing this. Let's just say she's no longer in a position to do that! Stay away! Go to Mavis Tire and Brake on Park Road.

I go to the Arboretum Firestone center about every 90 days to get my battery checked. It's about 10 minutes from my house. I don't want to be one of those motorists you see on the side of the road with a dead battery! I make the appt. directly on line (great that this is offered), and then just show up. I wait in the center because it takes sometimes less than 30 minutes. I ask for a particular print-out showing the battery strength and how well the alternator is charging the battery. This is extremely helpful, and I'm glad it's offered. I like this location because it's close to home, the staff are professional, and my car is serviced quickly.

This is a one-star review from a former Firestone employee. I began my career with Bridgestone Retail Operations in 2010 and worked in LaGrange Georgia for 2 years until I was promoted to Manager of Tires Sales and transferred to the flagship store in Columbia South Carolina. It's important I mention all of this because if the Charlotte Arboretum Firestone and the sales associate (invoice says Jake but I believe the person said his name was Brandon when he answered a call) is willing to treat a former employee who used to do the exact same job then please think how you will be treated before you decide to visit this store. On September 26th I brought my 2009 Honda CRV into this location for an oil change, tire rotation, and alignment. The work was performed and I picked up the vehicle the next day. When I picked up my CRV my vehicle was now pulling heavily to the right and the TPMS light was on, not the "low pressure" TPMS light but the actual "TPMS" light. These two actions were not occurring when I brought my vehicle in. It was only after it was serviced that it began doing this. I returned to the shop and informed Brandon of the issues. Here he has an opportunity to make it right. It's important we go on a tangent now. If an employee has the aspiration and ability to become a store manager they must go through Store Manager training first. I went through this training. I remember one key phrase our trainer taught; "give'em the pickle." This is in reference to how a deli stopped giving pickles as part of their standard orders and when a customer asked for their pickle the store wanted to now charge. This ended up seeing the store lose many customers, market share, and thus revenue...and it all could have been avoided if they just gave them the pickle. This was the phrase we all used when running into issues with customers because a single transaction is of no value to Firestone, it is the customer loyalty and repeat business that helps us secure market share and thus long term customer commitment. And each associate is empowered to make it right. Brandon had the ability to make it right. But he gave excuse after excuse; "your vehicle is 15 years old, have you ever changed the batteries in them? That could be the problem." "Did you hit a pothole? That could be the problem" It was excuse after excuse. I know that all they have to do is take a small handheld computer out to the vehicle and put it next to the tire and reset the TPMS sensor. I have done this before. I even mentioned this to him. His respond was "yeah, that is one way but it also might be one where we have to hook the OBD sensor up to it and that is something we have to charge for." So my options were $25 for the reset or $50 for a TPMS diagnostic. Remember, it did not do this when I brought it in. I told him I have owned the vehicle since 2014 and never once during that time has that light come on until the alignment and tire rotation was done. He restated my two options and the price it would cost. I repeated my position and said "just to be clear I have owned the vehicle since 2014, the light has never been on, and your position is that it is just a coincidence and I would need to pay?" He restated the two options and price. I told him "ok, please print out my invoice so I can have the survey number, and let me know your store number." I am appalled that this is what the brand I have championed for years has become. When I graduated with my MBA the former CHRO of Bridgestone, Darrin Rohr was the keynote speaker. I still have his personal phone number today. I was even offered a full-time position in Nashville by Truman Hyde but turned it down due to personal reasons. I am writing all of this to end the same way I began...if this store is willing to treat a former employee this way then please think wisely before bringing your vehicle in. Alternatively, to the staff of store 300477, I have also sent this message to Scott and James. Next time...give'em the pickle. - Frankie

Very Happy with Nick the Service Advisor that helped me. Understood my unique situation and worked with me. WE are extremely satisfied. We plan to use again. I had a unique situation where I had purchased a battery elsewhere, it had problem, they tested rest of system and determined it was bad also. They put their battery in, and serviced vehicle. Gave me back bad battery so I could return to vender. I am very satisfied with Nick and FIrestone !!.

Employees like Eddie Manners made my nightmare become a dream. He was the most kind, understanding, patient and mild mannered person ever !! He in my opinion, was my angel that day...He guided me correctly in getting my tire fixed asap...and it was dangerous driving the car. He had my best interest 110% of the time and I will be forever grateful to him. Carly took care of the tire and it was fixed within hours instead the next day. She took care and did it in record time...She is my second angel...I have told them including telling the manager...I am now a loyal customer to a company that takes care of its customer and goes beyond the call of duty...and I could not have been happier !!!

Setup appointments with Firestone online system for 9 AM , it is now 454 PM and still not finished, poor customer service . Should never take 9 hours for a re alignment check and oil change. Also asked to make sure the system is correctly reaet from the oil change the was paid to proform , Eddie came back in and said it was done correctly, I paid for rhe poor service, went to my car and it was not completely reset and Eric the tech refused to complete the job. Then Eddie lied and said that Costco did the same, Costco do not do.oil changes and thwy should not have removed my Costcoaticker for my tirw out of my car. Please know how to complwte a job on a car when you charge to servicethe car and complete the job you were paid to do. I should not have to waste my gas and time to bring my car back because you failed to provide the service I paid you to complete, asked you to make sure its completed, you said it was completed and it was not and refused to complte it..Poor customer service Eddie and firestone

Staff was courteous and prompt. Performed my needed service and made it simple and easy! I needed a state inspection and it was done without any problems. They even informed me that, because my car was newer, certain parts of the inspection didn't even apply and didn't have to be performed. I was impressed. Returned for a damaged tire recently. You all worked hard to repair my tire instead of replacing it, and I really appreciated the effort and the honesty! Thank you!

I always take my vehicle to this location for basic servicing. They consistently complete the service on the same day, and I've never had to return for any issues or poor workmanship. The staff often mention that they cannot complete the job more quickly due to being understaffed.

I took an appointment, and it still took 3 hours for just oil change. If the shop is busy, don't confirm the appointment. Also, it seems I paid for full synthetic oil but the sticker on car says its synthetic blend which is cheaper. Not sure if I would ever return to this shop again.

We dropped our car off for a confirmed appointment at noon, but the company couldn't complete a simple tire patch before closing at 6. We decided to pick up the car and take it to another repair place as a result. This was a complete waste of our time, and it didn't seem to bother Jason at all.

services were not performed as directed requiring multiple follow-up visits. This has been the worst car retail experience of my life.
