The communication and customer skills at this location was horrible. I had to do the work for the mechanics at your facility. If I had not initiated and communicated the repairs between the warranty company and Firestone, my car would still be there. I'll go to the Dealership next time.

AVOID!! 180/hr shop rates versus 120/hr at competitors. Take your car literally anywhere else for a diagnostic. Other shop rates are extremely cheaper. 50% at least. They also waive diagnostic fees if you use their service to fix your car. Firestone charges additional +15% on parts versus competition. They will NOT waive diagnostic fees if you go with their service. I've never been to a shop that does not waive the evaluation if you go with them. Including other firestone locations. Stay FAR AWAY from this shop if you can. AVOID. Please call other shops and compare the service provided just over the phone versus Firstone. You'll be glad you did. Literally anywhere else. Firestone won't even give water while waiting. 2 stars because they did "fix" my car. But I will never use this shop again.

We had our F250 Super Duty in storage for a number of months in Michigan. The folks at the storage facility were supposed to air up the tires but did not. We drove through a snow storm to Chicago and badly needed to air up the tires. Stopped by this Firestone dealer (the gas station hoses don’t cut it with these tires) and asked for some help airing them up. Got us in right away, aired up the tires and refused to let us pay for the service. Friendly service providers and clean shop. We will be back when we need new tires! Thanks guys.

Avoid! Good, honest mechanics are hard to find and this is not the place. I came here for new tires bc they were the only location that carried the specific tire I needed. While I was at it I figured why not have my brakes done. Bad idea. When I got car back they were noisy. I waited a month to give them a chance to break in. My old worn out brakes never made any noise. Proceeded to bring car back FOUR times to correct the issue. They kept telling me they were fine. Not the case. I even had my local mechanic examine them and they told me something was wrong with the install. Finally they swapped out the pads and the noise went away. However they did such a bad job installing that my rotors were damaged causing my car to violently shake when braking at high speeds. There was always brake dust on my wheels. They say they’re going to work on your car that day and when you check in on the progress they say they can’t do it that day, even when you plan ahead of time with them for one day service. Too many issues with this place for me to ever give them money again. Especially when you ask for simple mechanical work.

I arrived on time for an appointment, and waited for whoever that was behind the desk trying to get his life together. And as I'm waiting I receive an email saying that my appointment has been moved to 7pm? The time which they close by the way. This is after I already received confirmation for my appointment and showed up on time for it. I waited at least 15 minutes before even being asked how can I be helped. The guy behind the desk was completely clueless and suggested nothing that would have been in the slightest helpful. Staying away from here, this is my second terrible experience at this place. Zero stars if possible

I changed my battery hoping the errors will go off. My car was 1.5 years old, and they didn’t run any battery test. And replaced the battery without telling me anything about battery health. After i asked them that the faults are still there they said take it to dealership since we can’t access the system. I highly doubt if battery was the issue. Do yourself favor, get another mechanic opinion before going there.

This place has a great staff and great service department to repair your car or any car needs. These guys know what they're doing very well and is a very clean place. It's a very classy place compared to the other places and the prices are good too

Walked in Thursday morning to get a quote on replacing all my TPMS modules; after waiting 10 minutes at the counter I stuck my head into the garage to inquire and was told "Just wait out there; somebody will be along." I wonder if they ever turned up, as I simply left. Guess they don't need the work.....

Firestone.com come and get service done at dealer level expertise or above add Firestone they always repair your car properly each and every time attend often it's like bringing your car to a medical clinic and the doctors are mechanics

Not my usual Firestone but I appreciated the service I received. They made great recommendations for me, honored my online coupon for an oil change, but didn't push me into maintenance that wasn't immediately necessary. I needed some part they didn't have in stock so they sent an associate to retrieve it so they could do a repair. It took longer than I thought it would but that's because the guys really put a ton of work into my vehicle. I felt like the service was affordable and within my budget and expectations. I would come here again anytime.

Uncharacteristic of corporate America, this place honors it's word. I bought tires here over one year ago, but the repairs were covers completely. Despite major issues with declining tire pressure, these guys fixed everything with no charge.

We are always greeted as soon as we arrive. Details about work & cost are evaluated quickly. My Firestone credit card had expired & the team patiently opened it again, giving us more discounts. Having cars fixed can be frustrating. This team treats customers like family. They're honest about work that needs to be accomplished & are patient with those customers who can't fix it all right away. It's just great customer service. I highly recommend this location for your tire care needs.

Booked an appointment to get a tire change at their posted opening time at 7am only to wait outside for 20+ minutes. Still recieved no service by 7:20 and the stores still locked, ill be taking my business elsewhere

Save your money and go anywhere else. Had works done on my alternator and it stopped working a week in. Had to spend an additional $900 elsewhere to have it done correctly. Super disappointing from a big name company like this

Second time take a car in for something simple and leaving with a slew of other issues. Customer service does not exist here. They replaced 4 tires and alignment as well as an oil change (cost over $1000) and left to immediately have issues with the traction control (light flashing) as well as tire pressure gauge on the dash being messed up. Also, with no prior issues, the air conditioning system is suddenly broken. The man I spoke to on the phone was rude, would not listen to my frustration, told me I was interrupting him when I was trying to explain what was happening (I was frustrated and also don’t know car terminology perfectly so I was stuttering a lot). At this point I fully believe the further issues that we left with were done intentionally to make them more money. Do not take your car here. They do a poor job because if they don’t break other things intentionally, they are causing damage on accident and take zero accountability for it. I’ve spent thousands with this company over the years. My fault for having a bad experience, giving them the benifits of the doubt, and returning.

They charged me $150 to tell me my 2015 Civic needed a new transmission for $7k or more. The car needed a new CV axel. I had it fixed down the street for $250. This place is an absolute joke. Avoid.

I came to change tires with my brother and this place is rude and disrespectful. I would not put tires in this place. They are very liars. They said that the part cost 180 and it costs 55 dollars. They would do it in 2 hours and the truck has been parked for 1 hour without touching it. They are very thieves in this place on Elston and Addison Firestone.

I see that they have bad reviews now I know why this store is very rude and disrespectful people I don't know why I didn't go to discon workshops there if they are kind I brought my truck to replace 2 front tires and do an alignment they told me they couldn't align it but they did install the tires I was waiting 4 hours they charged me 624 and then 380 more for a part that they put on without my permission what horrible service I will never come here again on Elston and Adison I do not recommend this place FIRESTON be careful with these bad mechanics I always change my tires at discon I went there if they are professionals

I’ve been going here pretty much once a month now. What started as a tire replacement has since turned into my brakes not working and needing to be replaced. Three months later and now my new tires are making a squeaking/screeching sound and I’m in debt for the $1500 Firestone card I had to take out for these repairs. This can’t be a coincidence….

When I need maintenance performed on my vehicle, I can always trust on Firestone’s diligence and superior customer service to get the job done. Today I needed some help with my car, and was given the gold star service I’ve come to expect at Firestone. Alex Merchan is someone you can trust with your vehicle when you need it maintained, if you don’t have a person it’s not worth the risk to try an unknown quantity. They get the job done, but I guess they're used to having so many customers that they don't care about details. Prior to my tire change, my car had no alignment issues, but after I declined an alignment for $120, my car now drives to the right.... so I have to get it realigned. Additionally, they left a black smudge on my car seat that they tried wiping off but managed to smear it in more. Definitely won't be coming back for any work with Firestone.

Visiting family from out of town our van started to make a brake noise Even though we where on short notice and we had a brake issue which a. A safety concern , we know we need appointment but again things happen they would even take 30 minutes to do a quick check and if we needed brakes we would have had to figure it out , but all we asked for a quick visual inspection .

I've taken my car here a few times since it's convenient and walkable from my house. Twice now I've had issues misdiagnosed. The first time I took it in for an issue with cyclical pulsating when braking (presumably from warped rotors) and was told the rotors were fine. Took it to another shop and they replaced the rotors, fixing the issue. This last time I took it in for a loud humming noise over 30 mph. They inspected it and told me the transmission was the problem and that they couldn't do transmission work (despite their website specifically listing transmissions). Took it to another place and after a 2 minute test drive they properly diagnosed a bad wheel bearing.
