We were buying a used car and went to Firestone to have the car inspected. The service manager Takoda was amazing and so helpful! The mechanic that went over the car took the time to show us everything that was wrong. We did not end up getting the car! They saved us so much time and money. 5 stars for sure!

I was having some issues with my car, I already knew what it was so I scheduled an appointment online for Wednesday. They called me later that day and said they would not be able to get my car in until Friday. I understood, scheduled for Friday. I went over everything that was going on, specifically told them that I knew there was a vacuum leak and a problem with the canister valve. But also I was having issues with my battery draining and some whining noise happening under the hood. I assume that it was my alternator since I had just purchased a new battery and it too was drained. I Dropped my car off Thursday night, they called me at 2:00 p.m. on Friday and said a technician had to leave due to an emergency so they wouldn't be able to get to my car until Saturday. They call and tell me about the vacuum leak, again I already knew that. I told them to fix it, but also to see what was causing the other noises. I was told, this vacuum leak will probably fix all of your other issues. I knew better, but they insisted. I picked my car up Saturday evening, although I could tell the vacuum hose was fixed, it was still making the whining noise and my battery was still an issue. I called them and asked why it wasn't addressed. They said because it wasn't doing anything that you mentioned when we test drove it. Bullshit. They told me I could bring it back in on Monday because they didn't have technicians on Sunday. I brought it back in Monday told them I know for a fact it's the alternator, they still tried to tell me they didn't believe it was the alternator. They test drove it, came back 10 minutes later and said oh, we believe it's the alternator. What, because I'm a woman I couldn't possibly know what I'm talking about? They inspected it, called me 5 hours later to tell me it was going to be a $1,200 job. Again bullshit. Once I get the paperwork, they had the invoice stating I needed an oil change and air filter which would have been an additional$98 added to the bill. Funny thing is, I just had my oil changed along with the air filter the week prior. So that in itself lets me know they try to scam people. They wanted $500 for labor, and another $500 for the alternator. I absolutely refused their services. Not only was the price outrageous, they failed to thoroughly inspect my car the first time they had it. To top it off, one of the technicians stole the charger from my car and replaced it with one of theirs. I had a brand new charger plugged in, and when I drove off I realized I now have this white charger covered in black grease with exposed wires on each end. So please take your belongings out of your vehicle regardless of how small they may be, these men are sleaze balls.

I've recently had several tires punctured by nails in my neighborhood. I brought my car in for yet another tire losing air pressure. Instead of just replacing the tire they determined that it could be the valve stem which could be repaired for much lower price. I appreciate the professionalism of finding the root problem rather than just the simple solution of selling me a $250 tire when it was completely unnecessary.

The alignment service was provided at the appointment time and was completed promptly. The service area was clean and uncluttered by tools, tires, etc. as compared to disaray often seen in repair sites. This implies care is taken in repairs as well.

This is my second time using Firestone in Evendale for new tires. It's easy to get an appointment that worked for my schedule and they always do a great job. Would definitely recommend.
