This is the second time I've brought my vehicle to Firestone. They get me in quickly, provide an affordable thourough diagnosis, and don't try to upsell unneeded services. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I will be back the next time my car needs service.

The customer service rep that we first encountered was very professional, polite and knowledgeable. She got us set up quickly and my car was serviced in a reasonable timeframe after calling an hour earlier. . The results and recommendations were very helpful and similar to information we received elsewhere.

Do not come to this location. I was scheduled (I had to reschedule 3 times) for a tire repair and alignment and when I came in the tire had not arrived. Had to reschedule for the next day and still had to wait 2+hours for tire repair and had to reschedule the alignment because the machine broke down. They have too many excuses as to why they are taking so long.

Disappointing Experience - Avoid This Shop! This was quite possibly the worst service I’ve ever received. I purchased tires through eBay & CarAdvise for installation at this Firestone location and booked my appointment a week in advance. On the day of the appointment, the tires weren’t even available at the shop (CarAdvise shouldn’t allow appointments to be booked unless the tires are confirmed to be in stock). I tried calling Firestone multiple times, but the phone just rang endlessly before transferring to a corporate call center that had no helpful information. According to tracking, only 2 out of 4 tires were delivered, but no one at the shop could explain why. I rebooked the appointment for four days later at 9 a.m. When I arrived 15 minutes early, I had to wait for the technicians, who were supposed to start work over 30 minutes before. The service writer was visibly frustrated and had no idea if they’d show up at all. A tense back-and-forth ensued between him and CarAdvise just to get my work ticket moving. After 2 hours, they finally started on my car. Inside the shop, technicians were openly vaping in the garage bays, making it feel like a vaping convention, rather than an auto shop. Another customer arrived with similar issues through CarAdvise. It was clear the shop was understaffed, and the remaining employees seemed burned out and indifferent to customer satisfaction and a favorable experience. The service writer was doing both his job and the technicians’, and it took 3 hours of sitting in a filthy lobby, with the phone constantly ringing, unanswered. The restrooms were locked, and no one was around to provide access. As a former Firestone employee, I was shocked at the total lack of ownership or accountability in this store. I can’t imagine there’s a worse-performing location in the region. This partnership between Firestone and CarAdvise is clearly broken—they are guilty by association, and I will never willingly deal with either company again. If they can’t manage something as basic as a tire installation, I would never trust them with more complex work like brakes, flushes or oil changes. Save yourself the frustration—find another shop!

My original appointment was for 8am at S Academy location, was told at 8 to come back at 930 cause tires won't be there until then then they were running behind at 930 cause employees didn't show up to work. Got my tires finished at 1215 ish. When I paid the bill there was a price discrepancy of 16 dollars per tire almost 275 dollars difference in the whole bill(they also dont mention in any of the fine print that the tire warranty is only valid if you purchase road hazard warranty) I was told it was due because the tire I ordered DOT date was expired so they had to charge a different price for the exact tire I ordered. Then there wasn't an alignment check paper in the bill so I asked if the alignment was good and was told I would have to schedule for a different day because that person didn't show up to work. Showed up 3 days later at 1045 for an 11am appointment for the alignment check it didn't get started until almost 4pm and finished at 445 . So it essentially took two appointments and 10 hrs and 275 dollars more than i was quoted to get a set of tires and an alignment check. I've been to 2 different locations in colorado springs and several appointments and never got work started at appointment times, always delayed several hours due to employees not showing up for work according to who ever is working the front counter when i check in no matter what locationi go to.

A representative disrespectfully hung up the phone while I was trying to receive a price check on a tire he refused to give his name and I do not recommend this place as they force membership on everybody instead of just looking up a tire based off the making model of a vehicle furthermore I called back to reconcile the problem peacefully and a representative gave a false name of Christian and then subsequently turned around immediately and said he's not allowed to give out his name either extremely shady not professional and poorly managed don't waste your money here

I don't normally leave reviews, good or bad. However, nothing pisses me off more than wasting my time. I had an appt for an alignment and showed up this morning. I was told it could be up to 2 hrs to be completed. I was told 3 times the vehicle was going on the rack. At the 2 hr mark, my vehicle was still in the parking lot. Complete waste of time. I'll find somewhere else to go from now on.

Service was excellent if a bit slow (appointment was at 10:00; they finally got the truck in by 1330). They BADLY BADLY BADLY need more techs and to have their operating bays REPAIRED. They could probably move twice as much business if they had the proper staff and equipment.Jim's great and easy to work with; as long as he's there, I'll be a customer.

TLDR; Refuse to even acknowledge their simple (but expensive) mistake and make it right. One star is too high. Took my vehicle in NINE MONTHS AGO for an oil leak that caused my car to smoke. Got an inspection done and was told it was my radiator and timing cover gasket. I got the service done 5 days later. Upon checking out, all of a sudden, I'm being told that the "real" reason for the leak was a crack in my engine block and they cannot fix it there since they don't do engine work at that location. Second location cannot locate the crack, my warranty does an inspection and finds Firestone liable based on the pry marks left from the initial service, and Firestones inspection finds them not liable (despite not having it on a jack to fully look underneath the car). I take my vehicle to a third-party mechanic, and they state that firestone needs to replace the timing cover gasket again as that's the general area of where the leak is coming from, and highly suggest they clean the under carriage for a better view. Firestone replaces the timing cover gasket again, and mentions they fired the original worker who did the first replacement. Once done, they show me the crack which was on the CAMSHAFT CRADLE, and NOT the engine block. They also stated it was due to "wear and tear due to the temp changes from owning it in Alaska". I return back to the third-party, and they tell me that that is absolutely impossible and based on the location of the crack and the pry marks, the only plausible explanation is that they broke it in the initial timing cover repair. I have since been completely ignored by Firestones corporate and have yet to get my vehicle repaired due to the insanely high cost of repair. I've now had to go out and buy a second vehicle as it was cheaper to do so than repair my current one.

I have been going to Firestone since I started driving in 1996. I have never had any issues until I came to this store. I had booked an appointment with this Firestone to get some brake work done while I wait in the lobby because I was hearing a grinding noise in the back when I would brake. It started out fine, I was the only person waiting in the lobby waiting for my car. They put my car in the air and took the wheels off. They said I needed rear brakes and rotors and that the guy was actively working on my vehicle and another at the same time. I told him okay and that I was going to walk across the street to eat lunch. After lunch, I came back and it still wasn't done. I sat down and watched the news in the waiting room. After I was there for about 3 hours, the guy asked if I was in a hurry and I said that there was somewhere I had to be but that this was more important and that I would wait till this was done. About 10 minutes later, he came in and told me that they were not going to be able to work on my vehicle today (after telling me that they were already working on it) and that I would have to come back some other time. It was only 2:10pm at that point. So instead of calling me and cancelling my appointment or even letting me know when I got there that they couldn't work on it that day, they wasted over 3 hours of my time on my only day off. Then, the worker tried to charge me on top of that for a "Car Care Package" that I never asked for. I told him that there was no way I was paying for a service I never asked for and especially after wasting a lot of my Saturday. He threatened to call the police if I didn't pay until he noticed I was video recording him. I did report it to corporate and I really hope they do something about it so nobody else has to go through this. I won't ever give this store my business again!!

First, I was misquoted a price for 2 tires. Originally they said it would be $100 for 2 tires, installed, balanced etc, final out the door price. I came in & they said they quoted me for 1 tire, not 2 and it's now $180. NEXT, I gave instructions to install the NEW TIRES, ON THE FRONT of the car, old tires in the back. They put the NEW tires in the back. Now I will have to spend hours of MY TIME getting them rotated to the front. Finally, the did not put my wheel covers back on properly. Just a few miles down the road, one rolled off into a busy intersection!! I came back 20 min later to find it and it was gone. Now I need to buy new wheel covers, ANOTHER $60+ out of MY POCKET! THE ONLY GOOD thin0g about this shop was that they were open on Sunday! But your people are incompetent, can not follow even the simplest instructions. or give a simple quote properly!!

LAZY AND INCOMPETENT. Refused to warranty out a tire that was covered. They told me that I had to go to the Firestone where I bought the tires. Drove across town to that Firestone and was told that I was lied to. I knew they were lying because this same Firestone had replaced another tire from the same set previously.

I had to stop here after my tire was sliced by a Colorado Springs pothole driving on Academy. I ended up needing 4 new tires because I have an all-wheel drive car. The store manager, Jim, brought the initial quote to a price I could afford and was very kind. Tristan was also very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place!

I was traveling from out of town and had a drivers side windshield wiper problem. I called and they got me in with in an hour. The manager looked and knew the exact problem and got it fixed with in minutes. Pretty simple fix, which I was trying to do myself, but my bolt was warped and my girly strength wasn’t cutting it, plus didn’t have correct tools with me. Thank you so much, it really took some extra stress out of my day and allowed me to travel safely home, in this winter weather!

Utterly ridiculous 3 hours for just an oil change was over charged by $35. Oil sensor wasn’t reset if they even changed the oil and didn’t even bother to top off washer fluid avoid at all cost taking my business elsewhere and you should too
