Lifesavers. The shop across the street told me I'd have to wait nearly 5 hours for them to diagnose a flat tire. Paul with Firestone got to it immediately and fixed it on the spot. Couldn't have had a better experience!

I called and spoke with Alex or Alexander and he quoted me a price on 4 tires and gave me a price and said there was a $100.00 discount if I buy all 4 tires on November 7 thru 10 I went with it made a appt for Thirsday the 7th I was dropping my car off and went in , THEN he went over my estimate and the price increased ,AND said the $100.00 discount was for tires over $600.00. And my discount was only $40.00 .I have used Firestone in the past BUT NO MORE.

To the customer service provided; this location, [Specifically Alex] Gave the Best Experience Ive ever had at an Auto center anywhere Ever, hands down! Whats more is they were working with a skeleton crew & still got the job done in an expedient time. This Adorable young Gentleman Alex made sure that all the customers in the Waiting room had drinks, answered any pertinent questions, while tending to his regular duties & was an All around Personable guy to host what can usual be a very scary or at the Very least Difficult day for most when they lose their source for Reliable Transportation. If anyone were to underestimate him for whatever shortcomings, Alex More than makes up for in with a Larger than life personality! One Customer was a little worried that her vehicle might be to far gone But Alex Confidently said with Certainty that the team would in Fact get the job Done today! And sometimes thats Really all people need in this day & age, A Little Hope! I scheduled an appointment a few weeks before and still had to leave my truck and Uber home and Uber back the next day to pick it up. I would have appreciated them telling me because, I would have had a ride. I just didn't like it. They installed my tires fine. I'm just a little more considerate of people's time. Spent an extra $35 for Uber when he could've just been considerate. But whatever. I'm expecting too much.

I've been going to Firestones all over the country (Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah, Idaho and now Ohio) since 2016. I have always had great, fair, quality service and they've always gone above and beyond whether it be an oil change or major repairs (had a head gasket blow once and the corporate office paid for my tow to the nearest Firestone). Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I have ever had at a Firestone. My appointment was on a Monday at 9am for a vehicle inspection (unsure if my tires or brakes needed looked at). I get a call at 2:30pm that day going over everything that needed done (tie rods, lug nuts, coolant exchange) was quoted an estimate and that the parts would not be in until Tuesday morning. I let them know during that phone call to move forward with those things, but I needed the car by 6pm Tuesday night. They told me this was more than okay. I called Tuesday morning at 7:30am because I was contemplating tires, but decided to wait until they go on sale. At this time I reiterated that I needed my car by 6pm that evening. I was told my car was already up on the platform and being worked on. Five PM rolls around with no call. I call back, and when I ask for an update, I receive the reply "well it's not done cause I see it up in the air on the platform. The guy will be back in tomorrow morning at 8am." I had not received any update or even an I'm sorry. I asked how late Wednesday morning, and he told me probably 10:30am. I now move around my Wednesday morning in addition to my Tuesday, and arrive at 11:30am Wednesday. I was told something else had been found with the coolant reservoir and that my car had been done, they just didn't have a chance to call me (but had a chance to call customers on a list to come in next week for a tire sale, as I heard multiple times while waiting in the lobby). I said no to the new issue and asked my car just be backed out. He returns telling me that actually the alignment wasn't done, and it would be another 45 minutes. I finally received my car at 1pm, for a cost nearly double my estimate. To top it all off, my steering wheel was filthy and my hands full of grease and dirt when I was finished driving home. Just completely unprofessional and not like any other Firestone experience I have had. Lost a long-time customer. 10/8 Update: took my car to a dealer servicer today as it stalled on me and said I had low oil pressure. Come to find out I had a massive oil leak that got over everything, fault of whoever changed my oil last. Lo and behold, that happened to be Firestone. Also, emailed the person who replied to this, who ghosted me. Stay away.

Needed to replace the thermostat on my new-to-me 2006 GMC Canyon SL. I made an appointment at this Firestone for a Monday morning at 7:30am. I dropped the truck off at 7:30am and walked back to work. They called around 10:30am and I spoke to Paul about their suggested services they wanted me to have done on the truck. I told them I only wanted to have the thermostat replaced and nothing else. I could do the other stuff myself. I was expecting them to call around noon or 1pm telling me my truck was ready. 1pm rolled around and I still hadn’t heard from them. I called the shop and was told that my truck was “about to be worked on after the mechanic eats some lunch”. At this point I was confused. If they had my truck up on a lift at 10:30am to inspect it, why didn’t they just go ahead and do the work? I asked Paul when it would be done and he said “before 4pm because that’s when the mechanic leaves”. Now I’m thinking to myself “great, they are going to rush the job”. I walked back to the shop when I got off work at 2:30pm, still having not heard anything from them. When I arrived I could see that my truck was still not done. After waiting another forty-five minutes, they told me my truck was ready. They gave me 15% off because of how long it took. It was still expensive. I paid them and went out to get in my truck but I could see coolant dripping from underneath. I popped the hood and climbed under to inspect their work. There appeared to be a lot excess coolant all over the place. I went back inside and got a paper towel to wipe some of it away so I could see if it actually was leaking. It seemed like it was okay so I drove it home. The next morning on my way to work I went to use the heater and nothing was happening at all. It didn’t work on any setting and the AC didn’t work either. I took the truck back to them that morning. After several hours (once again, making me feel like I was not a priority), they told me they couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working. When they were putting it back together apparently it started working again. There is probably a short somewhere in the system. (They probably got coolant on the ground connections when they overfilled my truck with coolant and got it all over the engine bay…) After getting my truck back and parking it in the garage at work I noticed somehow when they were trying to figure out why my heater stopped working they caused a leak in my windshield wiper fluid system… Earlier this week I noticed my coolant level has been slowly dropping since they worked on it. So not only did they cause my windshield wiper fluid to leak; they didn’t put the cooling system back together right, resulting in a leak. It took WAY too long for them to replace thermostat and now I have 2 new problems because they rushed the job. I called them this morning to tell the manager (Paul) about my coolant leak. He sounded half asleep and showed absolutely ZERO sign of remorse for messing up my truck. He didn’t even say sorry. All he said was “you can bring it back here and we’ll look at it or you can take it to a different Firestone location”. Do not waste your money or time at this place. I have a hunch that the reason they neglected my truck was because I refused to pay them a bunch of extra money for repairs I could do myself. I still cannot believe that the manager didn’t even apologize to me. So incredibly unprofessional.

Wrangling pricing long wait, and car was not aligned properly. Will never go back. Had a tire ordered for installation on another. After taking my avalon to them I canceled the tire installation for the ats. They don't deserve 1 star but was only way to submit review.

My daughter's car completely broke down in downtown Columbus while she was in Columbus for the night for a concert. State Farm had it towed to this location. Very grateful for this Firestone location downtown on 3rd. Paul was incredibly helpful and quickly diagnosed the problems and shared the codes with me via phone since I live in Cincinnati and was nowhere near the vehicle His crew was quick, professional and helpful in a very stressful time. He and his team went above and beyond to help me for several days, lots of phone calls and discussion. Including when I drove up to try to get the Prius issues address myself. He came outside and helped me validate what was wrong and did a few additional diagnostics with me that confirmed what the actual problem was so I could get working on a solution. The issue was too severe for them to work on. Even with that diagnosis, Paul never stopped helping me as I figured out what to do next. He was patient, friendly and in the end, they didn't even make any $$ off me after all of their support.... and still continued to help me. That is unheard of in the year 2024. Paul and this location helped me in an extremely stressful situation and made the rough experience a little smoother with their help. Thank you. We are grateful for your professionalism and support to our family! We will not forget this and will visit this and other Firestone locations in the future!

Pretty terrible experience from start to finish. They were careless with my wheels (significant scratches from removing/retightening lug nuts), knocked loose one of my side skirts, sliced through the sidewall of one of the tires I ordered (via TireRack) & then called me to tell ME to order a new tire as if their mistake was something I should solve, broke a latch in the trunk floor panel (presumably when they were looking for the wheel lock key). None of this was disclosed to me when I picked up the vehicle. Oh, it also took several days longer than they said it would. I wouldn't even recommend this place to an enemy.

Really mixed bag when you come here which shouldn't be the case. Guys up front are always friendly, but the issue is with the work done by the technicians. Sometimes they do fine, but other times you spend $1400 on routine maintenance and new tires only to have to come back MULTIPLE times in the following days for them to fix something that hadn't been done right in the first place. I only come here out of convenience as it's located close to my home and work, but at this point it is no longer convenient and I will be looking for a new mechanic after things are resolved.

This location on 3rd st is horrible. The lack of customer service unbelievable. We took my sisters care there as it broke down on her on the way to work. We both work downtown so it was convenient. We usually go to the Firestone in grove city. We were told that this location is appointment me only ok it’s fine as this was unexpected. They were able to complete the diagnostics. When I told them the car was under warranty and had all the information to start the process, the technician was extremely rude and unhelpful. It took me and my sister to call three different times for someone to tell me that the manager Paul was the only person that could call about the warranty and get that process started. I could never get ahold of Paul so I ended up calling Grove City Firestone and who was completely professional and polite and told me if we could get the car there that they can contact the warranty company and have the car repaired within 2 days. We do a lot of business with Firestone but I will NEVER go back to this location

Worst Firestone ever!These guys misdiagnosed my car not once but twice. Paul is such a sketchy person and a liar he’s terrible at his job and need to be fired. These prices are way too high to not know how to fix a car. Save you a trip and pick somewhere else to get your vehicle fixed.

Paul is an absolute saint and helped me get my car back effeciently with so much care. He and his team are incredible. I had needed brakes for a long time and waited just a little too long and messed up my caliper on one side. They diagnosed it in a few hours when i was a walk in and made me feel actually cared for and listened to and fully explained what needed to happen in detail that I (someone who does not know cars at all) could understand. This was the first mechanic shop that I really felt heard and taken care of at, rather than trying to push me out the door as fast as I could, to spend as much money as I could without knowing what was going on. I am absolutely coming back here for all my cars repairs.

Paul Heinrichs deliberately lied to my face on a couple of occasions in one day. Dropped off for an oil change and tire rotation. Told me it would be a couple of hours, no problem. Come back after those couple of hours and then tells me that it will be another 45 minutes. It then took an additional 3 HOURS and when confronted he gets defensive and gaslights you by saying “we did say it might take a little bit” but 3 additional hours is crazy. He tried to make up for it by take $25 off per hour (amounts to $125) but that doesn’t give me back my weekend time because I had to wait. Paul is a liar so if you interact with him, know that he is lying to your face.

Please learn from my mistakes, do not take your car here. I had them replaced 2 tires, then the other 2 tires after noticing a bad shake with 2 new/2 old tires. The shake didn't go away with 4 new tires and I asked for a balance. Their balance didn't help and I had to take to another shop to get it balanced correctly. I was charged for 'road hazard' protection on the tires which I was never offered and never agreed to. On top of this, ever service took like 8 hours.

Took in my truck because the ac compressor was going out. Had them replace it, after a day or so they called said everything was good I go to pick it up and as I hop on the truck turn my ac full blast.. nothing but hot air. Had them check it the next day and said everything looked good. Picked it up again, and let's just say the job they were paid for was garbage. They just charge for stuff they aren't really certified to do. Now I'm having to pay over 2k to get it done right. HORRIBLE SERVICE NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE!!!

Brought my car in at the pre-scheduled appointment time. I asked when I got there how long it would take - they said 40-60 minutes. Showed up over an hour later, my car still wasn't even being worked on. Sat in the waiting room for another and 15 minutes. Wouldn't recommend this shop unless you plan to not need your car for an extended period of time. They also tore apart my trunk looking for the wheel lock (never said it was in there) while I was sitting in the waiting room, when they could have just asked me where it was? Jordan in the office was nice, but that's the only positive thing I have to say about my experience.

Called to get an appointment, appointment was made, I show up, they say "we don't have an appointment for you." I had to leave my car overnight, Ubering to and from the store. They also told me they would replace my tire, but then patched it. The cost was less, but they did not ask me before changing the procedure and only told me because I asked why the price was different as I was paying. Their website is also a complete fraud, it pretends to be helpful while collecting information about your car then just says "make an appointment and we can talk about your car." Terrible company, will not use again under any circumstances.

Brought in my car at 730 for my appointment for a brake inspection and potential brake replacement. Was told I was behind 2 cars and then they would look at my car. Called back at 11 am and no progress was made. Showed up at 2 pm to pickup the car and found they had only just thrown my car on the lift. I was then told I should replace my filters, and agreed as they looked nasty. They didn’t tell me they would have to order them and left me sitting there for another hour. I took my car back without the new filters after I was tired of waiting. Took them 8 hours to do absolutely no work. Go legitimately anywhere else for work or service.

Don’t give them your business! Took my car here last summer when I was having issues with it overheating and also got my oil changed because it was due. They said they couldn’t figure out what the issue was, changed my oil, and told me I have a leak in my oil pan and quoted me $1000+ to replace the oil pan. I broke down on the side of 71 on the way to my hometown and had to have it towed to Joe’s Auto in Westerville. The “big” issue was a quick fix - my radiator cap was cracked, and Joe’s Auto told me I DID NOT have a leak in my oil pan! Guessing they saw a young professional woman working downtown and thought they could get lots of money out of her. Do not bring your car here!

Went in for a check engine light. Came out with a broken start button so far jammed in my car wouldn’t start. They must be stupid or hit it with a hammer. Also refused to refund me and stated I can only make a claim on something unrelated that they broke. DO NOT GO HERE! FOLLOW UP: customer service for the company was very nice Shannon took great care of me and fixing everything.

Usually get my work done here. Generally good except for some short staffing issues. Reason I’m writing this review though is they need some serious help with landscaping. They just have a small strip of mulch but have clearly spent 0 time on it all summer as the weeds are above my head. Very unsightly and very unwelcoming when you enter the parking lot or even just entering the downtown area. Edit: dropped my review a star. Another spring season another year of zero landscaping. It looks awful and is the entry point for many into downtown. If they have zero pride in how their storefront looks it’s hard for me to trust them with my business

I requested the technician to place my repaired tire on my car and take off my spare. They did not confirm with me which tire (my spare looked like a real tire) and they proceeded with their work. I paid and went out to get my car. I noticed that they left my spare on, removed and stole my good tire and replaced it with my repaired tire. I checked my trunk to see if they just put it there, but my good tire was no where to be found. I came with 5 tires and I was about to leave with 4 tires. If I did not check, they would have successfully stolen my tire. After the issue was brought to their attention and I eventually got my wheel back, I left and could not drive on the highway because of how much the car was shaking. Their invoice reflects that I was charged for balancing the repaired wheel and they definitely did not do that correctly. I would not recommend this location. The location that fixed the problems that developed after the 1st visit was 4015 E Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213.

This place is horrible, they take too long to fix a car ,jobs that are supposed to take a day or two takes a week,they have my truck for the third time for a week again,and they call my wife to say say that is the thermostat,they haven't even checked my truck yetthey don't know what they doing and they don't listen,I even took my truck somewhere else and they told me is the same problem I have before,maybe they shouldn't overbooked, because they also get a attitude, maybe they need to stick just to oil changes.
