They said they couldn't replace the valve stem on my spare tire because it's too small for their machine. I've worked professionally as a mechanic for years. I don't know what machine that can't unmount a donut, but it's definitely something I'd expect any tire guy to be able to handle at least with basic hand tools. I would have had to ask for a tow if it wasn't for another shop that fixed my donut.

Edited to add - after posting this review and receiving their response below, I wrote to them as they requested, showing all the unnecessary things I was charged for. I have never received any response. So I guess they’re not as interested in my experience as they publicly claim to be. Employees here were friendly and professional, but I definitely got overcharged for a minor repair.

I have used the Candler Rd and old Memorial Drive ( before closure) for years. I have bought tires, had my oil changed for numerous privately owned vehicles. They have been generous enough to iron out any issues without arguments or confrontations.

I took my car here for the lifetime alignment warranty which is free. I left with a quote for over $1,000 worth of work, which they said needed done immediately. I took it to my Toyota dealership whom I use for all the work on my car, and they said I didn't need any of the suggestions that Firestone said done on my car.

I've never had such a customer friendly experience at a vehicle repair location. Donovan is always professional and knowledgeable. I had interactions with at least two other employees that were just as professional. This place has amazing customer service.

If you want to come up here and wait a few hours for an oil change be my guest…. Not sure how they can make you wait so much a long time for an oil change when oil changes can be done in about 15-30 minutes. 2-4 hours is nuts….

During my recent visit to Firestone, I experienced an unacceptable level of service that left me feeling disrespected and frustrated. Initially, I was told to wait for multiple hours for a part that, it turns out, was never there. Despite my patience, I was continuously misled and assured that the part would arrive soon. As time dragged on, I noticed a complete lack of communication and transparency from the staff. My repeated inquiries about the status were met with vague and evasive responses, further exacerbating my frustration. It became evident that my time was not being valued or respected. When I finally received my invoice, I decided to voice my dissatisfaction regarding the poor communication and the excessive wait time. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, they proceeded to antagonize me more by calling me “boss” directly on a form of what supposed to have been a professional document that showed a legitimate business transaction. This interaction felt like an attempt to belittle my legitimate complaints and added to the overall negative experience. The combination of being made to wait unnecessarily, being lied to about the availability of the part, and then being treated dismissively when I raised my concerns, was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional.

Needed to get a flat fixed. Well it wasn’t fixable but in less than an hour they mounted me a new tire and I was on my way. The price was the price but it was nice for the service to be that fast.

Why ar eyou scamming ppl in Decatur, Ga? 04Aug, I entered Decatur, Ga store to drop off my car for an oil change. The man tried to charge me for the $100 oil change (I have my car in the system) and was final about the price. I left. I called the Gwinette Firestone, whom I trust and it was $70! So, Firestone in Decatur, Ga, why are you scamming people? Why? That guy had an attitude before seeing me. He's an awful representative for your company.

Horrible and unfriendly customer service, called in and scheduled an appointment for 8am just to be told when I get there that I wouldn’t be seen for 3 hours for something as simple as an AC check.

I came on the 15th of June an the guy said something was wrong with my car the Sway bar when it wasn't, I sat up there for 3 1/2 hours for that. They made me appointment to come back to try to fix it on the 17th of June to find out from the boss/manager that it was not the Sway bar sat up there 2hrs this time an still wasted my time, what should I do. I guess nothing huh!!!! They need some new mechanics that no what they are doing, that no's about cars. My ratings for them is a 3 🌟 🌟 🌟

I took my car in on 6/3/24 for 4 tires and an alignment which took longer than I expected.The next morning I’m driving on 285 only for a message stating “oil pressure low shut engine off” to come across my dash.I took my car back on 6/8/24 I spoke with the manager Donovan who stated that my oil light sensor could be going bad.Well that was far from my problem I was told that I have a real bad oil leak.I asked the advisor why wasn’t the oil detected when I got my tires & alignment done he really couldn’t answer.This isn’t the first time I’ve had problems with this location but it’s most definitely my last.I wouldn’t recommend anyone patronizing this location especially women unless you plan on being ripped off.

It took this place 2hrs to even start on my oil change. Once started they said the plug was stripped and they couldn't do anything. They blamed it on "whoever did my other oil change" when it was probably them who stripped my plug because you don't strip something putting it on you strip it trying to get it off. After their failure I took my vehicle to valvoline who did the oil change in ten minutes.

Horrible service ,,, ordered tires initially wanted to send them back to vendor and decided to add tires on made a 7:00 appointment,,, was there 2 min to 7 and Neil opened store with me entering first, secondly a white lady came in behind me not having an appointment I am African American and I was second and he wasn’t sure as to how long it would take me but added her right in with no appointment

I made an appointment for 9 am. So I dropped my car off at 9 am and my car didn't even get brought inside the shop until an hour after. What's the point of even having an appointment if I'm just going to get my time wasted regardless? Then I waited 2 more hours before I was summoned by the lobby guy on the computer, who told me they're done and will bring the car around. I waited 20 minutes, decided to walk around back myself, found my car still raised with the hood up, asked the service member if I could get it back, and the they closed the hood of my car and said I could just pull it out myself and take it. Blown away by how terrible this experience was.

The term “bad business” doesn’t do this company justice. Don’t bother making appointments, they don’t honor them you will still be waiting at least 3 hours. They will charge you and still not fix your vehicle issue. The Mexican guy in the front staff is unprofessional and rude. I don’t like to leave reviews like this but people need to be aware of what they’re walking into. Horrible experience every single time I had to visit this store.

Donovan the store manager dealt swiftly and honestly with my major car work, getting me back on the road safely, same day. He understood and cared about my circumstances, and factored them in. The shop representatives were courteous and on-task....I highly recommend Firestone/Candler Rd!!

Everytime I bring my car the team has been very professional and knowlegable in assisting me with my questions and concerns . They are very friendly as well.
