The fine folks at this location tried to convince a female member of my family her lug nuts were all bad - in danger of having all the tires fly off at any second! - and they'd replace them for (get this) 34.99 per lug nut. Come on, y'all... I guess this is another business that needs to be avoided going forward. Unfortunate. (also, how long before the social media pr army descends on this legit review expressing concern? I'm betting a couple of hours at most. I'll update the review when it happens. Wouldn't it be better just to do quality work and not be shoddy in the first place? Answer: See below. It took just over 24 hours. LOL)

No se merece ninguna estrella este lugar, me atendio una mujer incompetente, tiene un pesimo servicio y no sabe ni si quiera cual es su trabajo, no vengan a este lugar, solo les hara perder su tiempo, no supo decir la marca de unas llantas, ni si quiera sabe si existen, es una mujer de lentes con mal atencion al cliente.

Awful location, do not bother taking your car here. I called before bringing my car on a Tuesday at noon and the girl told me it would be an hour to an hour and a half. It ended up taking almost a full 3 HOURS for a simple oil change. Nothing crazy, just an oil change. When I asked the girl upfront what took so long she was super defensive and said the techs were busy and they only had 2 working since another one went on break. I understand that the techs get busy, but you need to be honest about how long it’ll take. I took my car in during my lunch break and I’m not getting paid to sit there and wait. She still had the audacity to charge me full price. Ridiculous. You cannot pay me to bring my car here again.

Firestone on westheimer and gessner: 4 Tows, 4 Separate Firestone Visits in 6 Days, 2 Defective Parts Installed on Separate Visits, and out $1250 Firestone Fees + $300 Ubers + Tows+ Lost wages. What can I say? Come here if you want to be stranded 5 miles after leaving the lot ….. TWICE…..for separate issues - first time car died while driving 20 minutes after pickup and second time lost steering control. First had trouble with the starter. Paid $550 and car is released. Called them 10 minutes after a new starter was installed to complain about a burning smell and my battery light going off. Said they didn’t know what it was and to bring it back. 10 minutes later, the car died while driving (alternator classic symptoms) in the middle of westheimer during Friday 5:00 rush. I was nearly in an accident as a result and I had to diagnose the issues via google then have the tow diagnostic confirm the issue. They replaced the alternator for $425 even though I complained they misdiagnosed the issue as the starter rather than the alternator. Picked up the car after my second visit, then it died again 24 hours later. Supposedly it was a defective alternator. All of a sudden, the steering pump needed to be replaced even though I visited twice since July and it’s never been a recommendation. Paid $200 for the steering pump and picked up from visit #3. Drove it two miles home and parked overnight. Next day driving to work, I lose all steering control and nearly have accident #2 thanks to negligence in servicing again. I call back to notify them I now have no steering and I’m put on hold for 5-10 minutes. I eventually hang up and start calling other locations to find an appointment so my car can be towed a fourth time but not to the same location. They never even called back to see if they could assist or if I was ok even though I notified them my steering went out the day after it was replaced. I’ve since had it fixed properly by an experienced mechanic at another location. The good location was having trouble with this store communicating with them about the defective steering pump that was installed. Starting to wonder if it’s the same steering pump that was installed in 2021 and they just charged me without replacing. I keep all my records and car reports. I’ve had to escalate the situation to corporate care via a case number. The area manager failed to reach out within two days and now it’s escalated to regional. It’s clear they don’t care.

Terrible service. I walked in hoping for an inspection sticker. The lady was sitted in the mechanic or garage area and she saw me then continued to do something on her computer. I was inside the office area. I waited a few minutes to give her time to work on what she was working on. When I noticed she wasn’t coming to check on me, I figured I’d knock gently on the glass window separating us. I did and she didn’t turn so I gave her the benefit of the doubt - perhaps she did not hear my knock. So I opened the door separating us and peeked through to catch her attention. She abruptly said she would be there so I stepped back and continued to wait. A few minutes later she finally came around and asked me what I wanted. I shared what I wanted and she let me know that the person who does car inspection would not be there for a while but I could return later. “When?” I asked She couldn’t give me a specific time and did not seem interested in helping me. Needless to say I found a place with better customer care and interest and I will not be returning here for any mechanical service because the way the team treats you is likely the very way they will treat your car - with lack of attention and care.

8/27/24. Just walked out the store and needed a simple state inspection. Was told to come back another day when it's not raining. Ummmm People have jobs to go to and have to work. I got it done 1 block up no wait time! Stay away from this place with horrible customer service!

Resulta que mi camioneta no pasa inspección por que un parabrisas está Dañado ellos lo cambian pro $50.00 pero en Walmart vale $7.00 le dije ahora mismo lo cambio entonces me dijo nooo si no lo Compras aquí simplemente no pasa inspección…

Do not go here!!! Went and had an alignment done on my truck, and they never bolted the upper control arms back. Completely put me and my families life in danger. Also caused front end damage to my truck. Been without my truck now for a week due to the fact I had to file a claim just to get them to fix there screw up. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

On 06/29/24 I went to Firestone. There was a guy with a customer for about 30 minutes we left came back.he was with the same female customer. I asked him if anyone could help us. I came Monday morning complaining to Luke supervisor. I drop off my vehicle to have it repaired only because my daughter get her vehicle repaired there. The service was okay it's the customer service in my opinion that needs to be more professional and the staff needs to know how to communicate.

I went in to get my AC Diagnosed and Fixed, They claimed it was my air compressor and just to be safe I should get a condenser and my freon refilled. $1,630 bucks is what I was quoted which I thought was fair. However, after getting my car back the next day, the AC ran cold for about 2 miles and then started blowing hot again. I turned around and had them look at it again. After looking at it for 2 hours and the mechanic taking it for a test drive they said it worked fine and nothing needed to be fixed. The Mechanic said he could not find anything wrong with it. Then on the drive home again, it blew hot again. It would not get cold at all. I think they did not do anything, just put freon in my system so it would blow cold until I drove away. It took a full month of getting escalated by customer service before another shop took a look at my car, after just a couple hours they found a fuse was overheating. After replacing that fuse it has worked perfectly fine. This shop took me for a $1600 ride due to incompetence and/or scamming. Do not go here for anything ever.

Had an emergency and in desperate hurry. Josh got me in and out. Great customer service, in which I find very rare these days. I will definitely be back. Only 4 stars because of Firestone's outrageous prices on parts and labor. Give Josh a raise. 😎👍

I have been having an issue with my tail lights, they keep burning out. I took it in and they said I need an expensive part. I approved the price and was okay with having the part replaced. For some reason they decided to try "rewiring" it instead and said I did not need the part (that I waited 3 days for them to special order). Saying that they were "saving me money". turns out they did nothing, I paid for "labor" but the light issue continued and now I am paying more to have if fixed properly. terrible service, total rip off. DO NOT GO HERE Also as some others have stated here, I did not get paperwork so there is nothing but a page saying deposit and a charge.

I went to the Firestone at 9529 Westheimer Rd Houston, TX 77063. Advisor 05, Luke, helped me. I arrived at 7 AM and waited until 11:20 AM for my car to be ready. The total cost of the repair was in the $800 range. I expected the job to be around $400 to $500, so I believe I was overcharged. The assigned agent came but didn't review any of the work again. He asked me if I would like a paper or email receipt and dismissed me when I chose paper but sent it to email instead. When I called back and informed them that I had never received it, I had to speak with two other agents, a female and a male, who were rude and unprofessional. The male agent offered to text me my receipt, but I declined because I needed an actual receipt to provide to my records, not a screenshot. The male agent rudely suggested that I visit another Firestone for my receipt. He called me "bud" and, at the beginning of my call, kept calling me "boss" when I gave him my name. I visited another Firestone and mentioned that my work order wasn't in the system to reflect my updated payment. The other Firestone I did see is friendly and professional; the atmosphere is clean, and the staff is more attentive. I'll be bringing my business to the other location.

They not right they suspicious of weird activity. I don't trust this place. I came to get my firestone tire checked and they went into my engine messing with stuff and breaking stuff..now my check engine light is on. This not the first incident...I had to get something fixed on my car and they claim to fix my car and had to bring it back to get the part put on again. So did yall really replace the part in the first place.

This location should be shut down. The Customer service is terrible. All I needed was air in my tire. The guy at the front was very rude. Did not provide any type of Welcoming customer service He told me I would have to wait because he’s kind of busy and he was by himself, but it was only two cars there and no customers in the lobby , He act like he didn’t want to help me . I waited 20 minutes before I left to see if he would ever come out and he didn’t, it was like he refused to serve me. Because I need air in my tire and I thought it was a courtesy I didn’t get his name, but I will be contacting the GM

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The staff on multiple occasions refused to be helpful and had an unkind attitude. Today I needed a state inspection. The representative at the front desk said they cannot do it because the roads are wet. It already stopped raining 2 hours ago and the roads were dry, but OK. I asked if they can please keep the car and just do the inspection when they feel that it is dry enough. The response was that it will rain again. I pulled up my weather app and it showed no more rain today in this area of town. They still refused. It was obvious that the manager did not want to do the state inspection because it probably does not gain him much profit, if any. They were so rude about it. I called another Firestone and they said of course we can do the inspection for you. I took it there and they did it… because as I said, the roads were dry already. I urge people not to go to this location. The staff members are unfriendly and do not try to be helpful, and the manager only cares about profit. Shame on them!

Easy inspection process, I dropped off vehicle, walked home, got call when done. Good waiting area for those who need to stay. 2 grocery stores within walking distance and some dining options also. Strip centers on both sides of street, also a LA fitness. So you are only waiting there if you don't plan it out.

I've been a Firestone customer for the better part of the last 15 years and after today's experience, that run is likely over. I came in to the location at Westheimer and Fondren asking just for air in my tires. I did ask them to let me know if the tires needed to be replaced (tires I had bought at Firestone). I assumed I was going to get a visual inspection and some air. These two tasks took about an hour and a half and I was charged $10 for something that probably took all of 5 minutes. The cashier said they have to bring it back to do an inspection and that was the reason for the charge. There was no manager on duty that I could speak with to personally record this complaint. In fairness, the cashier did say that it might take a bit as there were about 2 other clients, but I've gone to many car shops around the city and the time to get air is never an hour and a half. Terrible service and a slap in the face with that unnecessary charge. I have to assume this is a way to dupe customers. I will not be back, and the $400 I will spend to replace the tires will not be spent here.

I had an appointment for at 9:00am just to check the condition of a tire that was loosing air. It took about 2 hours for them to move the car from the parking lot to the inspection area. Seriously? Workers pretending to be busy while none was actually doing nothing. Two hours just to say that the tires are not repairable?? Never coming back to this place

Slow sat there for over 5hrs for my car get jacked up for 2 mins while they fiddle with the tires and told me they couldn't look at the car for real because it's an EV. And they would not provide a receipt or paperwork stating that I brung the car in for service. Would not recommend, Firestone will definitely have to depend on fleet contracts in order to stay in business of all locations work like this one.
