I've been to this location for a few years now, just because it's within walking distance from my office. However, today's disorganized service and unprofessional really made me to decide not to come again. Dropped off my car by 8.30 am for 9 am appointment. Basically, for battery replacement after getting a phone call at 9.40 am. Fast forward to 4 pm, no update on my vehicle, so I gave them a call. Oh, my car was ready, but no one called me. Picked up my car, and had to wait 10 minutes ish since no one was in the reception area. Finally paid for the service rendered to my car, then my car key was misplaced. 3 different personnel couldn't find it. When I was inquired about it, the supposedly manager, just brushed it off as such no big deal and said if they couldn't find it, they would replace my key. No apology, nothing. After I got my key, I was just too pissed to even say something, yet the manager once again said "There was charges for it". The fact was : I PAID ALREADY. Again, no courteous communication, disrespectful, definitely will not come again.

There’s no point in setting up appointments as you will wait for hours even for services that are straightforward such as alignment. I have a life time alignment service and brought my car in for the 12 pm appointment on a weekday. It took them 3 hours until the car was even on the alignment machine to get the work started. I’ve experienced these delays in the past and the explanation that is usually given is that ‘there were more appointments ahead of you’. This is such a waste of time for the customers and firestone needs to get rid of this appointment service if they can’t run it properly. Lifetime alignment is a great deal that they sell if you own your car for a long time, but you pay for it with the waiting time even with the appointment.

After reading through the reviews, most of the bad ones centered around service not being done in time as promised and as always with car repair - cost, I was cautious. They were very transparent about the time frame, communicated costs clearly, and had the car ready 30 minutes before scheduled time. I would use them again.

Lorenzo and Francisco were so friendly and nice. They let me know what was going on with my car and when I had to call up there a few times to ask about my car, they didn’t make me feel like I was bothering them. I was going to another Firestone by my house but I was never treated like I was at the Memorial City location. This will be my new location and is worth the 15 minute drive I have to take to get here. I will recommend everyone I know to come to this location.

During a difficult day, where anything that could go wrong, went wrong...Luis and the technicians went above and beyond to see that I had a successful outcome! I was a long way from home and they ensured I was able to get on the road again and back to my sick dog who I had just dropped off at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists Emergency Room, just a few miles away, and we were able to make it safely home later that night! I really appreciate the efforts these guys put into helping me out, especially after their closing time. Thanks again, Luis!

I had taken my truck to a different location which they did a total mess… I spoke to Francisco about it and he went above and beyond to make things right…He had great communication and patient when it came to explaining the problem with detail. This store finally made a move and hired a new manager. It's like a whole new world. Francis it the new manager and I felt like he cared and treated me excellently. I can tell the whole place is better with him running it. I was never going to use them again, but that has now changed and I am totally happy with the service, etc. Thanks for making this change Firestone. As to corporates I called them 5 time about the old manager and never received the call back that was promised. Shame on corporate! This should be a premier FS considering where it is located in Houston. Everyone is pleasant enough, but talk is cheap. They constantly push you to buy more. Never a time where they don't tell you need at least $500 of service. They totally take advantage of older people and those who don't know better. Poor and slow service and questionable work performed. They had a guy named Terry who would honestly go over those reports and tell you what you really needed to stay safe vs preventive vs not necessary. He was a refreshing manager. Because I left less than a glowing review, I have now been asked by the branch manager at Firestone Memorial city to no longer come here. Didn’t like my negative review and claims I cursed at him. I have had three calls and upper management and so far they are not doing well getting back or addressing any situation. I’m beginning to think the fire stone will no longer be in business if this keeps up. Can you believe they will not take my appointment and rotate my tires and honor my lifetime front guarantee. Sounds like a lawsuit for failure to fulfill our contract. I will not let this go until I talk to someone higher up and with authority at Fire stone!

What is the point of scheduling an appointment if you are not going to honor that appointment? Let me start from the beginning. I called to verify that they could install tires that I purchased online. The price I was given was $12 - $15 per tire. I was shocked and confirmed that he meant to say $12 - $15 per tire. I scheduled my appointment. The next day I called around to get pricing and everyone else (except Walmart) was giving me double the price. I called back to confirm the price and was told a completely different price. When I challenged the price, they miraculously came up with a similar price to what I was quoted. My appointment was for 12:noon and I get there around 11:40am. The man working the desk was "cold." There were 4-5 people there when I arrive and 4 arrived after me. It took them 2 hours to install my tires! But they made sure to try and get me to purchase other services (alignment). 3 of the 4 people that came after me received their cars and left. As they finished with customers' cars, they would pull them up to the door. After waiting 2 hours for them to install my tires, the man working on my car parked in on the other side of the parking lot. Let's just say, I will NEVER go back to Firestone. Customer Service is HORRIBLE!

I had an outstanding experience with Rodrick! From the moment I walked in, he staff was friendly, professional, and eager to help. I came in for a inspection checkup on my car and oil change and they quickly identified a few issues I wasn’t aware of. He explained everything in detail, without any pressure, and gave me a fair and transparent estimate. The work was done promptly, and my car has never run better! The timing was the only problem. I made an 8:00 am appt on a Thursday FOR Friday. Before close on Thursday, they sent a message saying it was now 11:00am on Friday. I was there about 10 min before, said I'd wait. Everyone was nice, but literally within 5 minutes of signing in and handing over my keys, the same guy came up to me to say it would be around 1:00 to 1:30 before it was done. That was way too long. Then, a different guy came up to me at around 1:15 and went over stuff that I could have had done. Looking out the windows, it appeared that there wasn't enough people and maybe they were playing round robin because it was a good 30 minutes AFTER that, when I got my car. You will make more in the end by only taking in what you can handle on time.

Attendants are friendly and knowledgeable. The car was serviced quickly despite being very busy. The price to service the car was reasonable. The waiting area is clean, quiet and comfortable.

Shout out to Lorenzo. He was extremely helpful. I showed up with a flat tire 5 mins before closing and Lorenzo stayed late in order to make sure i was taken care of. Very professional and grateful for his help. Jay was the technician and very helpful as well. Thank both of you. Best customer service I’ve seen in years!

Took my vehicle in for repair, they drained my engine oil and didn't tell me. I've checked my engine oil level before I brought it in and I got the engine oil level low warning from engine overheat when I drive it after the repair. I worried if running on low engine oil could hurt my engine and brought it up with the them, all they had to say is denial, making it sounds like I was trying to defraud them, while I didn't even mention anything about money. Spent $4500+ here, two of the repairs left issues behind that I had to come back for another check and repair. I picked this place because I trusted Firestone brand in my previous city, very disappointed.

2 hours (to be fair they said it would "be a while") I waited for them to not do what I asked, before them trying to sell me on a full tune up (which I did not need) for an exorbitant amount. All I wanted to know was why my check engine light was on so I could see what I need to do from there. I look in the shop and they have my hood open, air filter out, etc. etc. That's not what I requested, wasted my time and charged me $100+ for what auto zone did for free in less than 20 minutes.

What is the point of setting up an appointment and then make it 10-15 mins early for set appointment and get told other cars are ahead of mine and will probably be till the end of day when the car will be done. Gentlemen at the front very helpful n sincere so can’t blame him. Just wanted an alignment done and brake clean n adjustment. If appointments can’t get in then just do away with the appointments. Waste of time for the consumer thanks!

When I arrived, they did not have the information for my appointment. They acted like it was the first time they were hearing about my appointment even though I scheduled days before. I decided to wait in the lobby given that all i needed was an oil change/filters and a tire rotation. They were unable to do the tire rotation, because they did not have the wheel lock. This was interesting, because yes I have the wheel lock at home, but what would happen to my tires if I lost the wheel lock. Would an auto shop not be able to swap them out? I always figured a company as big as firestone would have one on file. The appointment took 2 hours. 2 hours for an oil change...... The reason was because they did not have the correct filter for my car. What is the point in scheduling an appointment a few days in advance if they aren't going to have the items necessary to complete the service?

Very bad experience. They promised the replacement of the 1 tire would be done in an absolute maximum of 2 hours from when I brought the car in, so I went to the mall to spend the time. Three hours later (one hour after they said they’d be done), I called them on my way back to check on the status. The person on the phone said that the car was in their bay being worked on, only I was literally looking at my car from far away as it was parked in their lot. He said it’ll be done in 20 minutes max. I made my way to their waiting room to wait for the remaining 20 minutes. They took another hour after that then called and said I needed a new headlight, which will take them a few more minutes. It took them another 45 minutes. Most of this time the car was just sitting there outside the bay not being worked on. In total, I spent almost 5 hours for a headlight and one tire, which would be okay if they hadn’t promised being done in an absolute maximum of 2 hours. No apologies were made about the delay.
