I have been coming here for years. Today was the first time I reconsidered. The scheduler was great when I made the appointment a day before on the phone but the guy they have checking people in, his customer service was so horrible my husband drove from Katy to make sure the only interaction he had was with him and no longer me. This guy hates his job and it shows. So difficult to deal with.

I brought in my car to have 6 engine coils, and 6 spark plugs replaced. Before I brought my car in I had a flashing engine light for 30 seconds due to engine misfire but it turned off. after I received my car back I now have a solid engine light. I can still feel my car hesitate when accelerating. my issue was not resolved and now I have another issue to deal with, a solid engine light.

I would give a 5 for Luis! He is polite and I felt like he did a great job with a thorough explanation of the necessary repairs. He made the effort to show me specifically and walk through options to work within a budget. Other than it being a very dirty store and shop the work was done well and I very satisfied with the experience. It was quite a big job including shocks and struts.

Simply awful. 3 hour wait for an oil change. Said battery was bad and needed new cabin air filter. My car was still under warranty so took it back to the dealer and they said everything was normal. The other 1 star reviews are pretty consistent to how unprofessional this place is.

Previously I had a disappointing experience at the Firestone on Westheimer, but my visit to the Kirby location was entirely different today. I took advantage of their $9.99 complete vehicle inspection deal. My car also had a vibration issue, which the salesperson mentioned wasn’t included in the inspection. However, he asked me to wait to see what they could do, and in the end, they included the vibration diagnostic under the same special offer.

Please I advise you not leaving your vehicle here communication is horrible you got to call and ask about your vehicle, they telling you all kind of other problems with your vehicle and corporate don’t do anything at all

Came in for a simple flat tire. They said it would be an overnight service because of them being short staffed so I left the tire. 2 days go by, and I don’t hear back from them. I go to the shop and have to wait for over an hour for a simple tire change. Staff is polite but quality of care is shoddy. ^ That first review was left 2 years ago and the service has gotten considerably worse somehow. Came in for some low tire pressures and they sent me home with a completely flat tire, had to return the next day to get it fixed.

I had a fantastic experience! I scheduled an appointment the day before for a tire change, and when I arrived, they attended to me immediately. The whole process, from arriving to driving away with the job done, took just 30-40 minutes. The team was incredibly efficient, professional, and friendly. The service was smooth, well-organized, and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

I purchased tires with a warranty, had a slow leak, or so I thought. After they up sold me a new tire that I believe was good, now I am having issues with other tirers. I read a review that there are items on the ground at this location that will puncture your tires, I found something in the front tire (drivers side). I ignored the warning and now perectly good tire is needing repairs which means more money. Firestone in Cali has a very good reputation as being honest and fair, but Houston Texas is definitely ruining it for them - look at all the bad reviews, smh. Corporate is responsible for allowing this type of service. Class action lawsuits are in their future.

They rated you an outrageous price talk to another mechanic he quoted me half the price the front counter people were slow as crap anything like they were having a pow wow instead of working I asked for I took him another 30 to 45 minutes to get that

They took me in and changed my tire which needed to be replaced. The gentleman told me it would about about 1.5 to 2 hours and that's exactly what it was. Courteous staff and enjoyed some coffee while waiting.

Unfortunately, this is an absolute waste of a place to even do business with. Fernando and Antonio are some of the worst front desk people working within the establishment. Their lack of care in regard to customer service or efficiency is very noticeable. They tell you it'll be an hour to two hours to get a diagnostic done. And after an hour and 45 minutes when you Circle back you return to the establishment to see your car in the same spot that you left it in and you're told nothing has actually been done with your car. Honestly, I don't think they really cared, and they said there was one car before me, but there wasn't just one guy working in the establishment. And after an hour and a half if you haven't touched my car where's the courtesy and calling the customer to say your estimated time was incorrect. And then after the wasted 2 hours they still need another hour and a half to 2 hours to do a diagnostic. But then that doesn't even still get you an answer of what's wrong with your car or what it's going to take to get it fixed. Highly annoyed at the lack of caring or efficiency. Wasted Sunday morning.

Big price gougers. They tried to charge me $1200 to replace my breaks, which was double what the Lexus dealership quoted me. When I informed them of that they said they would "price match" by taking off $200. I obviously went to the dealership and they still charged me the inspection fee 😂

Didn’t secure my oil drain plug all the way car was leaking oil, alignment and tire balance on car much worse after bringing it in had to take to different mechanic to fix. Typical Firestone… buy tires elsewhere. Oil changes are very over priced.

Feel free to go to this place if you want to literally waste your money, time, and have your safety messed with. Went in for a wheel alignment and got back a misaligned car with 3 of my tires and a fourth tire that isn't even mine (literally the wrong tire). My cars struts truly appreciate this Firestone... Update- 08/20/2024 Filed a complaint with corporate that same day and was told I’d hear back from the area manager within 2 days… well here we are a few weeks later and still no word. This company is unbelievable. Don’t take a chance coming here folks. They’re not good people.

I was told initially that the wait for an oil change was 1.5 hours. I didnt get my car to nearly 3 hours later. If I had known the wait was that long, I would have left.To add insult to injury, the bathroom was out of order. After waiting over two hours, I asked where I could go to use the bathroom and was told they dont know. People just go somewhere.I had to play frogger across 6 lanes of traffic to find a restaurant that would allow me the use of their facilities. Unacceptable.And because I had been waiting almost 3 hours, none of the suggested services were discussed with me, I was just sent an email. Now I have to take my car somewhere to follow up with the "needs attention" information that I was provided 3 hours after arriving. If I could rate them zero, I would. To say I wont be back is an understatement.

While there was not a huge crowd and the representative was knowledgeable, he concentrated more on what he could sell me rather than taking care of my issue. I only needed a tire sensor replaced and he kept telling me why I diagnostic of the whole car was needed before the sensor could be replaced

I've generally had good experiences with this location in the past. They've replaced tires, removed/repaired nails, etc. I've never had major work done here, but they have always been quick and reasonable. However, my wife brought our vehicle in for an oil change, tire rotation, and state inspection earlier this month. They quoted her $3,042.57 in repairs that largely were not needed (coolant low, rear shocks leaking, lower front control arm bushings worn). One item was $110.99 to diagnose our OBD2 port which was not reading during the state inspection. My wife was present in person, but she called me so that the service advisor could speak with me. I insisted that if there were issues with these items, they would likely be covered under our certified used warranty with Toyota. The service advisor said that we could bring the car back for a retest within 2 weeks (with the OBD2 port repaired). We took the vehicle to a Toyota dealer that next week, they found nothing wrong with the OBD2 port and most of the items that Firestone had quoted. The bushings on the lower front control arms were in fact worn and did need to be replaced, which was covered through our warranty. When I brought the vehicle back to Firestone they still could not connect to the OBD2 port and continued to insist on the $110.99 diagnostic fee. I asked that he refund the $25.50 for the state inspection and that I would take it back to the Toyota dealer for the inspection. The manager refused. I ended up taking it back to the Toyota dealer that same day, paid another $25.50 for them to perform the state inspection, which it passed with no issues. I filed a complaint with Firestone corporate, but still have not heard back despite multiple weeks now.

Literally the worst, won’t be returning back to this location. Staff is non existent, and seem to not care about fixing issue. My car was stuck at another Firestone location for over a week before it was brought to this location and finally serviced. Then once they serviced it magically my tire sensor is “missing” I called and brought it back up there to check it out and they claim they had nothing to do with it and was not the case. So now one of my wheel sensors is missing and they just said oh well my fault basically. Also, I was not offered anything from Firestone for the inconvenience of having my car trapped in garage for over a WEEK. Treat customers better.

Great service and repair, they always take great care of my car. Just have to take back for a follow up as the brakes are making a noise when I medium to hard brake, and its not all the time.

I knew my car had a leaky tire. I made an appointment for 10am. When I get to the dealer at 10am they say "about 1 hour". Nobody even touches my car from the parking lot for 1h15min. Ends up being 3 hours total. I get they're busy, but I would have gone home and come back if I'd known it was going to take 3 hours if they'd just been upfront and told me it was going to take 3x as long as they quoted me. Instead I wasted half the day in their waiting room. Also what is the point of even having an appointment if I stare at my car in the parking lot for over an hour before anyone so much as looks at it? No sense in not doing a walk in at this rate.

I was recommended to.come here for a front end alignment. I knew I needed a oil change, tire rotation and vehicle inspection and was going to several places to have those things done. To my surprise got all done at Firestone. ONE STOP SHOP! Thank YOU!!!!

I went in because two of my coils misfired and my car had its safety mechanism activated making it hard to get anywhere. They did a diagnosis for me ($120 btw) only to tell me I needed a new engine, coils needed to be replaced, radiator fluid flushed, repairs were gonna be 13k, AND they managed to leave my recovery cap loose. Guess who paid 120$ only to be left stranded & with an overheating car after my radiator cap popped off?? Even if your car isnt driveable , I recommend you use the diagnosis money to tow it elsewhere

My Toyota Corola was vibrating and shaking, so I took it for a wheel rotation and alignment yesterday because I was going to be on the road for 5 hours today. When I picked it up it didn't look like any work was done on it, but I thought that I was imagining it, because they assured me it had been seen, and everything was good. 15 minutes into my 5 hour drive it started shaking and vibrating the same way it did before, and now I'm stuck on the road in pouring rain, praying to God I arrive safe at my destination. I will never go back to this location again.

Came here to get my 4 tires replaced, wheel alignment and annual inspection. I was told over the phone that it would take 1.5 hrs. In reality it took over 3 hrs and 15 mins. Very unprofessional and unpleasant experience.

My car was absolutely fine before I brought it to your service. I had no vibration or issues to my tires. It was recommended that I do alignment and buy new tires. Which I did. After that my steering wheal started to vibrate on 60mph. I brought the car back and something was done to it. This time when I go 60 and more my entire car shakes like crazy, my seat vibrates and even bags in the car. I don't know what you did to my car but you better fix it.

Complete waste of time. Made an appointment to have someone patch my tire with a slow leak. The guy that looked at it didn’t seem like he really wanted to repair it making different excuses. Then finally said he can fix it but would take 3 hours. To patch a tire?! Why make appointment for a simple patch to take 3 hours? If you don’t want my business I’ll take it elsewhere. Definitely won’t be coming back or recommending this place to any one. Not a surprise they have a 3 star rating.

I've always had a good experience at this Firestone location. I find the service team very responsive and positive. On this last trip, the team member took time to show me analytics that helped me make an informed decision about my car's needs. This made me trust his recommendations even more. To understand why I needed to replace two tires made me feel better about making the decision to replace them!

What a waste of time and effort. They completely disregard the issue of my bent rim and brought me a bill that had nothing to do with my car. They had none of the parts and wasted my time. DO NOT COME HERE!
