The crew in Kinston are awesome. Its hard to find certified mechanics you can trust nowadays,, but John and his crew are second to none. They always take care of my vehicles and I've never had any issues with their work.

Road hazard protection plans often contain unfavorable terms and conditions. Pricing appears to be algorithmically determined, lacking transparency. Customer service representatives are unhelpful and adhere strictly to scripted responses. Purchasing local coverage is recommended. (Update: I received prompt assistance from John, who addressed my concerns and provided support. While it is regrettable that a review was necessary to initiate this resolution, I appreciate the prompt and effective action taken.)

John is super, great customer service. He was the only one in the front, phone ringing off the hook but never once acted overwhelmed, fast great service. I live in Grimesland and will always drive a few extra miles to go to this establishment!

RUDE and UNHELPFUL Had a screw on my right rear on my F-350 Called ahead of time and they said bring it in I arrive and then told they don't work on F-350's their lifts are to week. I said use a floor jack the got rude and snotty and said we just don't work on F-350's I then asked for recommendations and they rudely answered no in a snotty tone.

Deontray was very kind when I stopped by. He helped me check air pressure in my tires at the Kinston location and let me know that I'd need new tires soon, very professional and quick. I always recommend this store.

Book an appointment for 11 a week out and showed up for it only to get told we'd have to wait for 3 other vehicles, what's the point of making a appointment if we have to wait a few hours anyways wasted a lot of time here.

Absolutely disgusted with the service received on the last visit. While driving from Greenville I had called and spoken with the sales specialist and requested a certain set of tires for my 21' Ford and I was told they had multiple sets. I set the appointment and was there on time. After a one hour wait the specialist comes to me ( the truck just placed on the lift after setting the appointment an hour later) and says we do not have the tires you have requested in stock. I asked him if he had verified the tires were in stock after driving out of the way and waiting an hour and he said the computer said they were in stock. I asked why I had been waiting an hour and no one had verified, looked at them, or just now gotten to my truck! He said we do not physically look, if the computer says we have it then we have it. Never once an apology or any care about the customer waiting just a young self-riotous sny attitude while just walking away. At that point I started to get an attitude and he says you are old enough to be my dad I am not discussing or arguing about this. I called the complaint 800 number and tried to reach out to the manager and district manager and no one seems to care. Rude, disrespectful, slow service, and didn't give a crap about their clients. That being said a different manager on duty 2 weeks prior installed tires on my daughters Smart for Two and we were in and out and the service manager was very pleasant to deal with and kept the appointment on time. For this reason they still get 3 stars.

Was able to make a same day appt for a minor repair. Even though I couldn't get there till the end of the day, they got my car in quickly. Customer service was very good and went over my invoice before starting.

I discovered that I had an almost flat tire and was having difficulty finding somewhere to get air pumped. I pulled in and asked the salesman if they were able to put air in my tire. He said absolutely. I ask if it cost anything and he said no. I pulled around to the bay with the air hose and one of the mechanics pumped up my tire and gauged all 4 tires. They were super friendly and very helpful. I will definitely do business with them in the future.

I have had many negative experiences, and bad luck when it comes to vehicles. I use to always believe almost anything I was told when i would leave the auto care centers around Kinston and would feel confident in my car when I would leave the businesses too. That was nice of course until something else started messing up as soon as 2-3 days later, or even worse causing issues especially with my tires that would easily lead to car wrecks, which has before at least 2 times coming from Davis's tires in kinston. Mistakes and misleading people in ways such as these can be extremely dangerous especially when you have children passengers with you at all time. If you want or are in need of help and services from honest people, who are extremely educated on the services they provide when it comes to dealing with your vehicle then I would absolutely only recommend one place only in kinston NC for you to go to, and that is Firestone complete auto care on W Vernon avenue. They know everything there is to know when it comes to vehicles in general and the quality of their work is amazing. The customer service is outstanding everyone is so polite and understanding and the prices are so reasonable that it makes it all the absolute most perfect experience for someone who has not had the best experiences in the past. That is the only store that I will ever take my vehicle to for any type of maintenance,services, repairs, or anything. I know I'v not ever felt as safe as I feel now when I drive away from this Auto Care service center, and I owe all the thanks and appreciation to Tyler Howell for taking all my concerns seriously from the day I walked in and met him. So when your car is acting up or needs services please do go straight there and ask for him!

I typically avoid ANY kind of "Chain" type business. I'm a small business kind of guy, support local ya know? However! When it comes to vehicle maintenance, tires, repairs, etc... I have found that Firestone has been consistent, convenient, and far more available than the local small shops. I never have had trouble with any of Firestones work or products and what more could you ask for? If you have dealt with many of the "townie" shops round here you know why that statement counts! Also, where a few times over the years the personality of the guys at FS has maybe been sub-par, new manager Tyler has turned that one low point around beautifully! He is always a smile, personable and helpful. For me, in this town , even if it might cost a couple more bucks it is worth it fir the quality and consistency of the service. Top grades from me!

I was impressed by the excellent service I received and the way I was treated from the moment I arrived for my appointment. The location is very convenient. I have been driving to Wilmington for service all these years, so I’m delighted to find this Complete Auto Care Center so close. I trust Firestone to keep my vehicles serviced efficiently and with genuine care.

My mom had a flat tire and needed a new one put on. It's Sunday so most places were closed. Firestone was open until 5. My brother in-law wrestled with the tire for almost an hour to get it off (rusted) at this point it was 10 mins to 5. She gave them a call and they promised to stay until she could get there with the tire. They stayed late, got the new tire put on the rim and balanced. These guys just dont know how much this was appreciated. I would recommend them to anyone and we will definitely be back!
