Took 3 or 4 trips to finish everything, but they took care of my oil change, new tires, axel, struts, and I think something else lol, but fantastic jobs done. And they were so great with my son.

Came in yesterday with an SUV that was in storage for years; Colin took great care of me and worked on developing a repair plan that is in my budget and meet the needs of keeping my SUV on the road. Jessie was our service provider at the Outter Loop location. Jessie is a top-notch service manager. Since Firestone moved Jessie downtown they brought over Steve from Michael Tires that was on Preston Hwy. That was shut down do to everyone leaving because of bad service. Now they give Steve this Outter Loop Firestone location and remodel the place to be run in the ground. I'm taking my family to Ken Towery on Fer Valley.

Had a flat tire so had to make a last minute appointment. From out of town, on a Saturday, driving an F350 Dually it wasn't easy to even find a place that could take us, but they did and we were in and out in an hour. Couldn't ask for more.

Called to make an appointment, first appointment was 8 days out. Dropped off at 730am, actual appt was 10am. After not receiving any type of communication I went to get my car at 545pm. They were in the process of mount and balancing my tires but told me they wouldn't be doing my alignment because they "had already been worked to hard that day." Customer services is absolutely lacking at this location.

Dropped vehicle off on Friday for a Saturday appointment. Never got a call Saturday so we called to check status to be told the car hadn’t been touched that they would get to it on Sunday. Stopped by shop on Sunday to get status and car still had not been touched. Decided to give them until Monday, still no courtesy call so went by shop on Monday and car was still in same spot we left it on Friday! No courtesy calls but was told we could come get the car even though they had not fixed what they messed up on the car the week before. I would NEVER recommend anyone take vehicle here. It appears they are charging for services that are not being done. We were told our tires were rotated and we were charged even though we knew our tires had never been touched by the way we marked them! Fraudulent and very unprofessional service. Please save your money and time and go somewhere that you will get what you’re paying for, definitely NOT this place!

If I could give it 0 stars it would be ideal. Terrible service. I have had to visit the place 4 times to be able to align my car and I still haven't been able to. Every time I went I had to wait 3 hours and when they notified me they said that I had to change a part in order to continue with the alignment, I looked for the part and came back and when I arrived I had to wait 3 hours and in the end when they left they told me that I had to look for another part and so for 3 consecutive times I had to go. And when I made my appointment for the last time for 4 pm which was supposed to be the last one, when I arrived the gentleman told me that I had to make another appointment because he had a lot of work. Why the hell do they confirm the appointment if they can't do it? For me this place no longer exists. The worst that can exist. I do not recommend it to anyone.

The quality of the service is great but the customer service and scheduling is horrendous. I’ve scheduled here three times (once for work). I was told all three times that there were openings for a certain time and then either received a call stating they have no idea how long it’ll take to replace one tire or told when I showed up that they need it overnight and complaining because, “There’s only two of us here and I have 15 appointments on a Sunday.” I understand, but don’t offer more service times if you can’t handle the load. I cannot sit and wait all day for one tire to be changed. It’s a vehicle and I need it. I also went here and stood in line literally for 30 minutes because the guy at the desk kept having to take all the calls and answering questions that required asking the techs in the garage. Mid conversation with a customer, he would excuse himself to go speak with the techs which he did multiple times. I also searched the site with this exact location and it stated the store has the tire I need in stock and the guy on the phone said they only have one that will cost me $300 out the door. The one on the site out the door was $156. So I will go elsewhere that can fit me in at the times they actually say they’re available. If you go here, plan to wait 4+ hours every time. The only other issue I had is now I have a grease spot on my headliner above my drivers door of my work truck. I’ve found this typical with mechanics though.

Had a appointment for 9 am for a vehicle inspection...didn't get out until after 1:30 pm...what good is an appointment ? The master mechanic was awesome though..he showed me everything test needed repaired..but it should never take that long for a inspection..

Short version: Firestone performed lazy and rushed diagnostics and would've charged me a lot of unnecessary money. (The 2 stars is because I had previously taken my car here about a year ago to get the radiator replaced and to their credit, they seem to have done a fine job. I haven't had any radiator issues since that repair.) Long version: I took my car back to them because of the work they did on my radiator. If someone does right by me, I try to give them back my business, and so I did. I had my car towed there when it wouldn't start. I'm no car expert, but I do work in an adjacent field that gives me a moderate amount of knowledge about specifically a car's electrical system. When my car wouldn't start, I checked the voltage on the battery and found that it was low (12.3v), but not completely dead. I also did a CCA test on my battery and found it to be within normal and operable levels. While not entirely optimal, I firmly believed that the battery was capable of starting the engine. I informed Firestone of this and advised them that I didn't think it is anything related to the battery and felt that instead it was a faulty starter. But being that I wasn't the expert in car repair, I left the official diagnosis up to them. I've worked in the service industry for a long time and know that when someone calls you repeatedly for an update on your service, it can get annoying. With this in mind, I tried to weigh that against the urgency of my repair needs. So I called them every couple of days to gently check if they had an ETA for a diagnostic. After a little less than a week, they told me that the issue was the alternator and that it would cost several hundred dollars to perform the repair. I tried to talk to the rep and tell them that that didn't sound right, since the battery wasn't dead when I had the starting issues, but they more or less talked me down and said it was definitely the alternator. They said it was charging the battery, but it had a low output (I think they said 12.8v) and was not charging it enough to keep it from dying as my car pulled power from the battery. I didn't feel right about that assessment, and so I opted to pay their diagnostic fee (I think $70 or $80 dollars) and took the car. The last thing I wanted to do was pay several hundred dollars for a repair that I didn't think was necessary and then be stuck with an additional repair bill afterward to fix the actual problem. I happen to own a 7 amp car battery charger, so to test their diagnosis, I would pull my car battery out of the car when I got to work or got home (only about a mile trip) and make sure it was fully charged before I ever started my engine. I also made sure to not run any auxiliaries (air conditioning, radio, power seats, heated seats, etc.) to ensure there was nothing draining my battery other than the ignition and dash displays. I was able to run the car like this for about a week before it wouldn't start up again. At this point, even though I was positive it wasn't anything to do with the power system, I got a brand new high quality AGM battery and tried to start my car. Even if the alternator were completely shot and putting out no power to charge the battery, the car would still start with a brand new AGM testing at 13.3v and over-performing in CCA. Obviously, it didn't start. At that point, I took it to Meineke on Outer Loop (just right down the road from Firestone). I purposely gave them no information about the previous diagnosis or what I thought it could be. I just said it wouldn't start and let them diagnose it. Within 2 days, they called and said it was a bad starter, just as I originally told Firestone I believed it was. They changed the starter out and the car has been working perfectly ever since (I waited 3 months before leaving this review just to be sure that the starter was the proper fix). I believe Firestone got frustrated with me calling repeatedly and assumed the first issue they found was the problem. Bad diagnostics.

Steve and the entire Team did an amazing job! We were visiting from out of town and got a screw in our tire. The leak was slow but we didn't want to risk a 350 mile trip back home. We arrived at 8am on a Sunday morning of Memorial Day weekend. Steve found away to make the repair happen. We are forever Firestone fans! Thank-you!

I scheduled my service (4 tires and an alignment) more than a week in advance, and dropped off my vehicle @ 7:30 on 4/13/24 when they opened the doors. I was assured repeatedly that I would have my vehicle back by the end of the work day. I repeatedly told them I had somewhere important to be. I got back 15 mins after close and my car had not even moved from where I parked it that morning. So although I was a bit upset I rescheduled for 4/20/24 and again dropped it off @7:30am. Having had to now get two rides up and back, I once again asked if I would have it back before the end of day, and was assured again that yes I would. Once again did not happen. I did not receive my car back “completed” until an hour after closing the following day 4/21/24. I understand that there are labor shortage issues of qualified people who want to work. But, if they knew that they could not get my car done due to lack of available techs, why not just send me to another Firestone/Bridgestone location, rather than wasting 3 days of my time? And their internal communication was horrible. There were (service related) questions I had asked about my vehicle (that I would’ve assumed would have gone in a note on my account.) But when I’d ask about them in person, no one seemed to know what I was talking about. Highly dissatisfied after being a loyal customer for over 5 yrs now (sets of tires and two lifetime alignment packages on two vehicles.) I’m seriously considering taking my business elsewhere in the future. The only saving grace this place has is their employee Ashley, she was the only one who was a pleasure to deal with, and because of her great customer service was the reason I scheduled at this location in the first place. Otherwise the rest of my experience deserves 0 Stars.

I was very disappointed with this service. I made an appointment for my car, and 2 days after my appointment they still had not even looked at my car. Initially they told me it would be done the same day, but after I was never given information on when my car would be done, or how long it was going to take. I understand there are staffing issues, but there was no need for me to make an appointment if it was not feasible for Firestone to finish when they originally told me it wouldn’t take longer than a day. I was able to take my car to a different shop and they fixed my issue in less than 10 minutes. Again, extremely frustrated and disappointed in this service and I would not recommend taking your car there.
