I worked with Tom at the Firestone on South 27th St. He was incredibly helpful, got me in at the last minute when I had some serious wheel bearing issues. I was able to get everything taken care of and not have to miss any work since my car was fixed in one day. I really appreciate them working with me and taking care of things.

The staff there has great customer service skills. Tom made sure everything went smooth and everything was explained in detail of what my car needed and all was completed in a timely fashion. If u go to a dealer u r waiting for hours. They were great as always when I bring my vehicle in!!

The team at Firestone—South 27th Street was excellent. I worked with Joseph and Louis and was grateful for their honest communication, which ensured that I made the right decision for my vehicle considering my overall situation. As a woman with a successful career, it is unfortunate that we aren't often treated with the respect we deserve when speaking to car mechanics or sales team. My experience was excellent. I also appreciated that I was able to connect to the local wifi network and continue to easily work while I waited. Thank you again for making this experience amazing!

Was in an accident some days prior to this ended up calling early in the morning they were very helpful and attentive to my questions and needs. They had me come in right away and I didn't have to wait, had my car checked out and they let me know everything that was wrong with it. Went over everything in detail, showed me the car itself which I'm very appreciative about being so open like that. Overall had a pleasant experience, they were fast, very good pricing, and very easy to talk to about my car problems, so a big thank you to Tom for all his help.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED I was driving from Chicago to Green Bay, Wisconsin when a problem popped out in Milwaukee. "Service Stabilitrak" was the problem indicated in my dashboard. The power was reduced to 25MPH. It was late night so I stayed in a hotel and brought my car to a nearby Firestone early morning. They can fix it but for $3,659.21 ( pedal $346.10 + fuel system clean 228.48 + gas cap 49.99 + ball joints front 1,074.58 + control arms front 1,139.38 + sway bar link kits 306.78 + alignment 120.99 + engine air filter 89.99). It was the air filter that made me doubt and felt something was wrong. I changed that myself two months before. And gas cap for $49.99? I wanted to leave but was told I must pay the diagnostic for $190.28. I worked at a pawnshop for 15 years and probably have seen everything. You know when you are being duped but it is tough when you are not from the area and helpless. You just have to get away as fast as you can. I called several dealerships but no one would do it on a Saturday. Then I went to a transmission shop in 27th St. They can't do it today either. I beg the guy to recommend me a place since I am not from the area and he mentioned Tom's Auto Maintenance, a mile from where I am at. I went there and they fixed my problem by replacing the acceleration sensor for $366.86 (parts and labor). $20 more than Firestone but that's it. Then they gave me a list of recommendations on what to with my truck, worth $565. Things I have to do but not right now. This is way lower compared to that $3.6K from Firestone. They assured me that I can drive just with that sensor replaced (in the accelerator pedal). Drove 2.5 hours to Green Bay and back to Chicago for another 4-1/2 hours of driving without any problem. Twenty four hours later, I am getting a text from Tom's Auto Maintenance, making sure that I am safe. Auto Repair Shop sometimes takes advantage of desperate customers by offering services that are not necessary. I will never recommend Firestone because of my experience. Tom's Auto Maintenance is not like that. I am glad I found Tom's Auto Maintenance.

After another store completely botched my girlfriends tire repair and missed the hole in the sidewall. They were able to help her out and exceed all of her expectations after the terrible treatment from the previous store. The staff were very kind and helpful and got them back on the road efficiently and happily. Thank you guys!

Bcoz of them I’ve to face collections. They made a stupid mistake of putting in the correct zip code while processing my application. I applied in April 2024 and till now I’ve not received the card. Disgusting service by the store representatives and customer service. Worst worst worst service. Not recommended at all. Neither store or customer care wants to take the responsibility to send my card.

I can not say enough good things about this Firestone, its management, and employees. We had an emergency situation arise while we were in the area from out of town. I called the shop and Tom offered the help so I desperately needed immediately. When I arrived he greeted me with kindness and compassion and made me feel heard. He jumped into action to fix my tire issue and walked me through each step. If you need a place to take your vehicle I would highly recommend you take it to this shop! Thank you again for all your help!!

I highly recommend working with Tom, the manager who has been at this location for 28 years! There are plenty of Firestone locations in the Milwaukee area that I would NOT recommend. This is the only one I do recommend. Even on a busy Monday morning, he was able to squeeze me in for an alignment and I was in and out of there within an hour. If you can, call ahead to make an appointment.

I wanted to take a moment to share what an amazing experience I had over the two days I was a customer at the Firestone location on 3534 S 27th Street. Tom, the manager, truly set the tone for excellent service. Even though he was very busy, he took the time to acknowledge me and carefully listen to my needs.I came in for a tire alignment, and Tom thoroughly explained the process before I took a seat. In just 30 minutes, the job was completed. He then provided me with a list of recommendations for my vehicle, which I initially couldn't afford due to having just purchased tires an hour prior. However, Tom’s level of care, communication, and professionalism were so exceptional that I began rearranging my finances to ensure I could get the work done – and return to this location specifically.The team at this Firestone location made my experience so positive that it made me want to continue doing business with them. That is true customer service, and that’s how a business should be run

We have gone to the Firestone on 76th and Layton and they were always helpful. We had to come to this location because they had a master mechanic working on a Sunday and we were so glad we did! They diagnosed our truck quickly and got everything in a few hours. They also have done work on our van and went above and beyond to help us figure out what needed to be done and do it quickly. We will continue coming to this location even though it’s even further from our house! Thank you!

I have been going to Tom Traxel's Firestone for a number of years. He as taken great care of us. This time was beyond expectations. We had our vehicle towed to his location late in the evening. The next morning he already had his team assess the damage and worked the repair into their schedule. It was fixed! I would highly recommend this location because of Tom and his crew.

I recently bought a complete set of tires for my Audi from another Firestone. I repeated kept receiving error messages low air pressure. After 3 visits to that same Firestone, I was livid- I bought new tires to have a leak? I could’ve kept my old tires. I could not get in tte the Original Firestone I bought the tires from on Miller parkway but could get in with this Firestone on 27th street. I was greeted and treated with compassion, understanding and professionalism by Luiz and the manager. After putting my car on the lift and testing the tires with soapy water - I had to have 1 or 2 stems replaced. A simple, inexpensive but VERY IMPORTANT fix. I will only deal with this Firestorm due to their knowledge, experience and compassion for the customer. Thank you I made it to my out of state - 3 day weekend High School Reunion confident my tire issue was resolved. THANKS GUYS !!!
