I used this place during the summer to have my air conditioner repaired. Everything went well. recently, I needed other repairs for my Audi and when I went in, there was someone different behind the counter. This guy requested money, actually two different amounts of money prior to having my vehicle repaired and that’s not how the business went with me the last time so I questioned it and immediately he stopped, trying to get me to give him money . Then the mechanic drove my car around and sat in it for 20 minutes trying to figure out how to see what the oil levels were. Big red flag! After leaving.

The staff was so helpful. We had broke down and walked over to the store. They had the part we needed, a battery and we were so happy that's all it was. They explained with the colder weather batteries do this. Thank you.

I have been taking my car here for almost 4 years now, and the service has been prompt when I need it/have appointment booked. They are very helpful if any issue occur I can rely on them for all my car concerns. Give extra props for the mechanics!

Good service and fast. Got my car in at 8:30am and was out by 11:30. No appointment just walked in and was taken care of. It was a Simple fix and they kept me up to date on the status as they got it in, looked at, fixed and out the bay door.

Luis is absolutely the most careless and discussing individual I have ever dealt with. This is the worst firestone by far. Their mechanics are clueless, and they do not believe in customer service. Most importantly, they do not stand behind their work. They have fixed my car a couple of times in the past year and both times I had to take it to the dealership to redo their work. When they know the work is warranty related, they tell you we do not have any technicians right now, they offer delayed appointments, they expect you to wait weeks before they fix their work. also, the place is filthy just like their management team. if you take their car to this location, you will regret it - please stay away from those dishonest, discussing and weird people who run this place.

You trash bags. After coming for a basic service I was presented with a list of repairs that was around $1300. I knew most of the Line items were made up, because I just had those things serviced (my brand new tires don’t need to be rotated or balanced) but the big thing was replacing my back tail light which you assured me needed the assembly completely replaced for $400-600 BEFORE I could pass an inspection. I needed an inspection. I couldn’t afford that so my tags went dead And have been that way while I dreaded ordering the part and doing it myself. Today I learned there is nothing wrong with my brake lights individually or the assembly. If there was my dashboard would show it, and if it did the replacement would not be the entire assembly. You refused to inspect my car on the off chance you could convince me to spend hundreds of unnecessary dollars. You put me at risk of a ticket and caused me an untold amount of anxiety. I don’t yet know who oversees the individual shops administration of the state inspections test, but they’ll be in touch for you to explain.

It took 3 hours to replace a tire pressure sensor, and then they left off a lug nut. I had to go back in and then the tech found it under some stuff on the floor. I will never go here again

I really liked the service at this shop. They did the inspection for my car, and everything went great. They were very friendly and explained everything clearly. I didn’t have to wait long, and you can tell they know what they’re doing. Definitely coming back. Highly recommended

The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable from minute one. I drive a fleet vehicle, I made the reservation in Charlotte, but I live near this location in Raleigh. When I arrived in Raleigh they had me pulled up, pulled in and had my van serviced in 45min! Outstanding team! Highly recommend!

I've been here a few times, I've given them a few chances, but honestly, they are slow, over priced and bad customer service, no one ever picks up when you try to call. I took my truck in because my driveshaft was making noise, they didn't fix the issue. Recently I walked in, two people were just sitting there, I was not even acknowledged. Not a "just a minute" or "be right with you". Steer clear of this place.

The service and personal interaction are always top-notch and I never feel as though I am being taken advantage of whenever I bring my car in for service. Crystal is great (as usual) and the technicians are upright and fair (at least in my experience with coming to this location for the past 10+ years now) I do wish that the waiting area offered more seating as well as multiple electrical outlets (for those that choose to stay and work remotely). I also wish that the waiting area was updated to be a bit more modern...in fact, this location could stand to be moved to a larger location (which would address my issues noted above).

EDIT: I took my car back to this Firestone to show what happened. I have to give kudos to the store manager, Luis. He listened to me regarding what happened and immediately ordered the parts to replace the shield. Then when I took it in, he replaced it and took the time to show me that it had been properly installed. I am very pleased with his response and my fixed car, so I am changing my review. While I’m frustrated that this happened, I am very happy with Luis’s response. Original review: I took my car in for repair and replacing an alternator. When I left, I began to hear a grinding sound. It turns out they left a panel loose in the underengine shield and the rest of it was secured to my car with ZIP TIES! I’ve taken my car somewhere else for them to assess just how badly this place messed up my car.

Luis & employees did not want to service my vehicle for an oil + filter change. He said my oil stick is dry. "That's why I'm here sir!" He said, go home & park it, not knowing where I lived. He serviced all the men & left me as a woman out. I'll never go to another Firestone in my lifetime. I recently received a lumpsome of money. Paying to fix my car was not a problem. He did not give me a quote for anything. For all the repairs this company say they do, they're scam!

Quality service from my vehicle being dropped off until it was picked up on schedule. Crystal and Katie have worked there for years and both of them have always worked with me and went there extra mile to help me each visit. Thank you to the entire team at the Newhope rd store in Raleigh Nc. Each team member is always courteous friendly and most of all professional.

Went on Monday, March 11, to get new windshield wipers and was greeted by a very friendly young lady. They put on my blades within minutes and very friendly and professional. Will definitely go back. Mary Matthews

I scheduled an appointment and arrived a few minutes early. It was 90 min. later that my vehicle was driven into a service bay. I had an a/c problem and was told that my compressor was bad. I was quoted a price for a new compressor, but NOT told that I would have to pay more to have the coolant charged. I spent more than 6 hrs there. The next day, my a/c stopped blowing cool air. I returned to Firestone and was told that my coolant lines are leaking and was quoted an additional $1300.00 to replace the lines. I feel like my problem was misdiagnosed. No one ever showed me that the old compressor wasn't working and I suspect that I was charged for a compressor that I didn't need. The leaking coolant lines should have been diagnosed and repair of the lines attempted before compressor replacement was performed. I took my vehicle to another shop and the o-rings were replaced on the leaking lines and this fixed my problem for $100.00.

I had been a customer of this firestone for years unti today. Brought 2 vehicles for service. One for an oil change and inspection and the other one only for inspection. 2 hours later i get a phone call from the firestone rep Luis and tells me that my car failed inspection for the wiper blades ($55 )and for a brake light ($16.95)But that if i replaced the wiper blades i should b able to pass inspection. So i told him to go ahead and replace the wiper blades. I was skeptical because i do my own maintenance on my vehicles but still gave the rep the benefit of the doubt. Ok, second vehicle, the same rep Luis called me with the same story.... the car failed inspection for wiper blades and brake light and thats when i said wait a minute. I told the rep this is scam, so every car that comes here fails for "the wiper blade and brake light?" The rep sort of ignored me. But i did tell him i will be buying my own wiper blades for $10 each at walmart and he said ok. Just bring the vehicle back and we will run inspection again. So i went to walmart and came back with new wiper blades. The rep told me to sit and wait. As i waited there i heard the rep tell another customer the same story... your vehicle needs new wiper blades and brake light. Thats when i got up and told the customer that these people are scammers and not to trust them. They tell everyone the same story to Rob you and steal from you blind. The rep told that i am more than welcome to take my business somewhere else. Then i told him i will be calling the corporate because they are not honest people and he said that i can call whoever i want. I will no longer visit this firestone and i will be calling the corporate office.
