Went to firestone on 10851 Bandera and it’s always excuses. Last time they (store manager)claimed they were not able to adjust alignment on drivers side because seized outer tie rod and needed to be replaced (I have the lifetime alignment so Firestone only touches my suspension ). I took my vehicle to a different Firestone (Babcock)and they were able to adjust it with no excuses. I think the bandera location needs more training or at least a direct line to the Babcock location on how to do alignments and help customers without trying to fool them into paying more. It’s concerning because a lot of your customers are elderly and it would be easy for them to be take advantage of. As I was waiting one elderly couple were discussing they had to repurchase tires because the last tech put the wrong size tires. Thanks again to Firestone on Babcock for ethical and knowledgeable service.

I had a fantastic experience at the Firestone store. The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism and provided outstanding service throughout my visit. They were knowledgeable, professional and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. Highly recommend!

If I could give this location a ZERO I would. I brought my Mercedes in for a nail in my tire. A week later I had a flat tire- same place, same tire. Then the technicians said they didn’t have the tools to remove my tire but I would have to buy a new tire anyway. Even though I bought the tires FROM THEM. Also- I would have to pay for the tire even though it’s under warranty. Their warranty is useless. I explained that this car is used to transport my disabled combat veteran husband to treatments when he can’t drive. There was no empathy or compassion. They are preying on the wife of a Veteran and it’s sick. I have tried to get my car serviced by this location multiple times. Every-time it’s been a failure. The only positive thing about this place is the nice guy at the front. The mechanics are arrogant and unhelpful.

Twice my mother has gone to this location and has paid for large repairs she didnt need. Because weeks later, after breaking down again for same reason, she would then go to a different Firestone (Bandera near 1604) and they would find the real issue.

A nail in the tire. The manager was notified that I needed another tire since the tire can't be fixed. This so called manager told me this 45 minutes after waiting for nothing . I told somone why nobody is working on the tire. He was defensive instead of acknowledged his incompetence. The worst manager (Paulus) this firestone has ever had and I have been with them for over 8 years. I will never comeback. I almost lost my job being late to work.

My husband and I booked an appointment after which we received a call from your shop about tire size. The same worker encouraged us to show up 2.5 hours earlier than our scheduled appointment. When we showed up it was 1235pm. We were then told by this same worker that due to the shop being extremely busy, it could be 2-3 hours before we were seen, but he'd 'try to get it in the shop sooner'. We went across the street for lunch and spent 1.5 hours there. Walked back to Firestone shop and noticed that our car was in the same spot. My husband asked the shop worker, same guy who told us to show up that early but said he couldnt recall which car was ours. Finally got into the shop around 310pm. While we waited, the same guy started telling us we didnt have an appointment and should have made one? I reminded him that I booked an appointment and he is the one who called us and encouraged us to come in. Scanned my car try and sell me unnecessary items. Will never return to Firestone.

This place has forever lost me as a customer. I will never be going back. I have been a customer here for almost two years. I recently took my vehicle in to have a service done and they quoted me $312 that day so I scheduled an appointment for a few day later and I dropped my car off at 7am when they opened. They said it should not take more than 2 hrs to complete. 12pm rolls around and they called me saying the person who originally quoted me the price of $312 was incorrect and the actual price would be $425.. okay, I was understanding and that price was still workable for my budget. Well, 4pm rolls around and still no car so I call and they tell me they are still working on it. So now the plans I had scheduled for that day have had to be cancelled because instead of 2 hours it’s been a whole 8 hours later and still no car! About 4:45 they call me again and say the price now will be $1,200! How did we go from $312 to $1200??? So, I let them know that I was not going to be able to afforded that because I had budget for the price they originally gave me when I came in to have the car inspected. They preceded to tell me there was nothing they could do and if they put they car back together it would not run.. how do I give you a perfectly running car for you just to turn around and say it will not be able to run when I come to pick it up? Worst part, I was scheduled for a road trip the following week so all my money had to go to getting the car fixed because they quoted me incorrectly. NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE BUT 3 times?? I took my car up there on a Saturday, they said they wouldn’t be able to get the part need untill Tuesday. So not only did I have to spend the money I planed on using for my road trip I had to Uber back and forth for 4 days due to not having a car. So disappointed and disgusted with this overall experience.

As a single woman and mother, I absolutely DREAD going to get my vehicle looked at when something is wrong. I always fear being taken advantage of or being scared into a repair. My brake lights were out and I only have one vehicle. I went to dealerships who were scheduling me a week out and on top of that were requesting I drop it off for a week at least just to diagnose!! I have to work but not only that, I’m about to move. I needed my vehicle more than ever and I needed to be safe. When I checked with Firestone, I got an appointment same day, they were able to diagnose the issue same day and they fixed it well enough for me to be able to get home and back the next day when they completely repaired it. And they were so transparent and honest about the issues, didn’t try to uncharge me at all. I came out of this paying HALF of what the dealerships were telling me they would charge me just to diagnose. I’m beyond pleased with my service and would definitely come back.

I had a 3:00 appointment. I arrived at 2:40 or so. My truck was not pulled into a bay until about 4:20 and was not completed until almost 6:00. Over 3 hours to put 4 tires on a vehicle is absolutely ridiculous. I’ll gladly pay more next time at Discount Tire and save me two hours of waiting.

I had all four of my ignition coils replaced here for a hefty fee and I’ve had to bring it back for the third time because my check engine light keeps coming on. I heard they have a great technician, but I’m frustrated that they can’t get this right.

It was 6:00 PM on a Friday night and my tire light came on. I drove to Firestone and they took my car in immediately. There was a nail in the tire and they repaired it at no cost to me. I was there maybe 15 minutes. Thank you Babcock Firestone!

So I headed into Firestone to get my headlights replaced. My thin mirror part of my sideview mirror had been coming loose so instead of having it fall off and losing it I ripped it the rest of the way off. I had plans to glue it back on thinking that would not be a permanent fix, but surely would work for a while. Since I was at Firestone anyway, I thought I might as well ask them if they could glue it for me. I figured it would be a better fix than I could do. They said yes immediately. The next day I took off the protective tape and paper towel to see scratches all over my mirror. When I arrive at Firestone just to ask what happened the manager tells me it was scratched from the inside where they had cleaned off the surface they had glued. I was a little frustrated because I could have fixed this myself without the scratches. The manages says "What do you want us to do?" I don't know, apologize? He was rude and entirely unapologetic to me about the situation. He said "This is why we don't usually do favors for people." The store could have told me they don't do it initially and I wouldn't have been upset. You didn't do me a favor you ruined a mirror. I would not be making this review if I hadn't had absolutely terrible customer service. I am not coming back to this Firestone in protest of this man.

Arrived to Firestone with a check engine light that was not on. Had the fuel and cooling system serviced. Also had two new tires put on along with a steering rod and alignment. When I picked up the vehicle, the check engine light was on and the steering wheel was off center. Took it back the next morning to get the steering wheel centered and have the check engine light resolved. I received and email that the car was ready for pick up but no phone call. I called Firestone and was told that the steering wheel was centered and that it was notated that the check engine light was on by their mechanic which is not true. The person that I talked to said that the check engine light would be cleared but it may come back on in the morning. My daughter picked up the vehicle and the check engine light was on and she was told that it will be $110 to run a diagnostic. On my daughters drive home, the steering wheel was still off center and at 65 mph it was pulling her off of the road.

Both person in the shop I spoke with were very helpful and knowledgeable and got my car taken care of quickly. Comfortable waiting area with good shows on the tv to pass the time quite nicely, too.
