I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at the Westshore Firestone for 10am. I called the morning of to confirm that they had time for my appointment and was told they did. I brought the car in at 9am and said I could leave it with them if they could do the oil change by noon. They said no problem. Three hours for an oil change is reasonable with an appointment, right? Well, they never called me so I called at 1pm. Not done. Then at 2pm. Not even started. Then at 3pm. Still not started. At 4pm I called and said I needed the car by 5pm so please don't start if you haven't. They said okay, it will be ready at 5pm. I arrived at 5pm and waited an hour before my car was ready, almost missing a flight that evening. $50+ for an oil change that took 9 hours? Of course I will never be returning to this location. The downtown Firestone in Tampa was excellent. I'm so disappointed it closed and this is all that's left. Quite possibly the worst service I've experienced anywhere.

I go to this location because my ex TJ use to work here so I am familiar with the establishment and being from a new resident I like to stick to the same people who are familiar with my car. On 09/25 I spoke with associate who created an appointment for me on 09/26 at 9am. Ernesto/Nesto took my keys and took my info and stated “there’s people with appointments ahead of you we are going to be busy, going to be a 2 hour wait”. So I said that’s fine it was just a complete vehicle inspection and I walked out the store and waited for 2 hours, I saw my car was parked in the same spot after 2 hours and just went home waiting to hear a call when an updated. Once, it was 3pm and no call I called over , Ernesto/Nesto picked up and stated they been super busy but my car will get fixed as soon as possible. I said weather it’s done or not I will be there to pick it up at 4:30pm I dropped my car off at 9am for my appointment. Again this is just a complete vehicle inspection, i showed up and my car was sitting in the same spot I had parked in front of the door. My car was also left on so it’s unclear of who or how long my car was left running all day. I walked in and asked Alex for my keys back but it was ridiculous that my car was never looked at even though I had an appointment. I was assured my car would of been taking care of and the lack of communication I should of just took my car to jiffy lube if it was never going to be worked on. Alex had to apologize for the behalf of his staff and it was just uncalled for, when I left Nesto/Ernesto was sitting down in the Bay Area without any acknowledgement of my car outside.

Appointment was on November 12th, 2024 at 10am to have my truck serviced. 2.5 hours they haven’t even looked at it. Very slow service. Ended up taking it somewhere else with same quality faster service. I believe appointments are for a reason. This place failed.

Came for an alignment sat in the parking lot watched the car sit then the worker proceeded to drive the car like a race car around the park king garage laughing to the other. Employees mind you I’m sitting in a car with cameras

My office is near this location and I am now the second person I know who's had severely over tightened lug nuts this year. A coworker had studs break and I now have more than half of my two-piece Ford lug nuts spinning. Will not be back. Suggest you do not go either.

I recently had an appointment for tire replacements and unfortunately it did not go as expected. I’m not too shocked honestly bein that this is the second time this location gave me issues on a service request in the same year. The first resulting in a call to the district manager. Although my rating is a reflection towards the store, I think the interim leader Ernesto did his best to make things better for me. Ernesto was very apologetic and sympathetic to my situation throughout the engagement. His demeanor alone gave me reason to be patient and somewhat understanding. It makes all the difference. I’m very appreciative of his help and personal care towards me even while he was in a tough situation being short handed and dealing with other disgruntled customers. He is certainly management material. Thank you Ernesto! Unfortunately, it’s still unlikely that I’ll return to this location seeing that internal issues and staffing are an ongoing problem resulting in my lack of trust to not be inconvenienced by extensive delays in service completion.

I took my car in to get an oil change. When they called after the courtesy check they claimed my brake pads were fine, but my rotors were bad and rusty. I informed the mechanic that both had been replaced recently at their location he said oh yeah you're right upon checking. And suddenly I didn't need any work done. He went on to say my cabin air filter needed to be replaced to which I replied that was just done on my last oil change. His reply was, great job for paying attention to what you have done and suddenly my air filter was fine. When I picked my car up my glove box wouldn't close, they broke it removing the filter, and told us it was fixed, but it was not. Only after coming back in to say this was not acceptable did they say I could come back and get it repaired. This was a horrible experience. I was completely disappointed in their blatant attempt to require unnecessary work and their complete lack of care for my car while it was in their care.

Never again! I dropped my vehicle off at 1pm for my oil change service and never received a call back that it is done. I have to work tomorrow and I have no car!!!! They kept my car. This is the worst service I ever received!!! Don’t go here!

Please look at the reviews before booking an appointment, I wish I did. Confirmed on the phone an appointment to get new breaks after work at 3:30, said they would “have to be done” before 6pm when they close again once I arrived. I waited until 6pm there just for them to tell me they can not do them today and quoted me for over 1000$ as well as trying to get new windshield wipers and a battery which I do not need at this time. Did not even ask me if I wanted to make an appointment to get this done… left. Will go elsewhere very disappointed.

Unless you have time to waste don’t come to this place. I had an appointment at 1:00PM for new tire install , at 2:10PM my car still hadn’t even been pulled in to be serviced. When I asked the guy at the front when they’re going to get to it he said “I don’t know we’ll get to it when we get to it” after telling him that’s not a real answer he said “I don’t know maybe another 2-3 hours” . What’s the point of an appointment if you don’t honor the appointment time? There was several other people in the lobby who were in the exact same position who were several hours into their appointment and their car was still not even pulled in. The guy at the front was talking about how they had 10 walk ins not sure why you’re taking walk ins if you can’t even service those who booked you in advance

Simple problem and always on the weekend or after hours. Noticed wife had flat tire around 17:00 in the evening on a Saturday. All the other shops I called had closed. Didn’t want to but forced to call Firestone at West Shore Mall…down the road. Tried calling for 20 minutes and no one answered that when wife discovered we could book appointment online for 09:00 on a Sunday. My plan was to get up early and take the flat for a plug and patch and that would be the end of it. But wife hadn’t had the tires rotated in a while and despite all the banging it wouldn’t come off. So pump some air then drove down the street and parked until 09:00. Got there and saw several cars parked. Finally headed to the door to discover only 1 mechanic and 2 cars backed up from the day before with minimum 1 hour work each. Others ahead of me wanted this and that then stormed off pissed. I stepped up and told him of my 09:00 appointment and manager gave me that same song and dance bit about 1 tech…well, I’m sitting here waiting. Sat for less than an hour and manager said they were doing my car next but the way he spoke sounded like he was doing me a favor. Little while later, called out to me DONE confirmed my email to send the invoice, didn’t offer to give me the object imbedded in my tire then said KEYS. I appreciate the work, it’s not glamorous but it’s a functional necessity. Just didn’t seem happy to be there but he had a death grip on the nuts of every guy that came in. I never go there…place of last resort. Also had nitrogen in my tire…WE DON’T HAVE NITROGEN

About 10 miles after my oil change, my car's low oil warning light came on. I pulled into a nearby repair shop and they told me the oil filter had not been installed properly. On top of that I had an appointment and had to wait 4 hours for my car to be serviced. The best part of the visit is that I received a credit back on my card without a hassle.

Both my cars get their tire and maintenance service at this location for the past 5 years. The team is professional and has never had issues with the team or service. Juan has been great!

Highly recommend! My wife got a flat and even though they were about to close, the got it fixed and got her back on the road. Great staff, all very friendly and quick. We’ll bed back for sure! Shout out to Ernesto and team!

I called this morning to ask about brake pad replacement pricing. Someone answered the phone sounding half asleep and mumbled about being back in one second. Currently still sitting on hold 45 minutes later. No one has come back. Had my husband call from his phone when we hit the 30 minute mark and no one over there is answering at all now. Seems like management could staff this place better. I’m sure the amount they make on a brake pad replacement would have covered the extra person’s hourly rate. Guessing based on other reviews they would rather keep a skeleton crew. Must be annoying to their employees- it’s certainly annoying to anyone trying to speak to a person.

Man at the front desk had a very bad attitude and suggested that we go to their sisters tire shop down the road… I went to Firestone to get my tire fixed and your employee is stealing clients from you. Also, his haircut looks like Curious George cut it.

Scheduled an oil change for 1pm and was told I could wait in the lobby for them to finish. Took them 3 hours to even move my car back to the garage. Be prepared to either leave your car over night or wait hours even with a scheduled appointment.

This is the best place to get your tires fixed or new tires! These gentleman are so helpful and kind! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE! They helped me so much!

Don’t waste your time with this place. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon with a nail in my tire. I was asked did I have an appointment lol. Yeah I predicted that I was going to have a nail in my tire and made an appointment a few days ahead. Ridiculous, I was then told I could leave my car and pick it up in a couple of days. This is not how you conduct business.

The staff was friendly and attentive to my questions and needs. My TPMS on the front, passenger side of my vehicle was unresponsive and I needed new tires. The staff was able to fix the sensor, replace all of my tires with the brand I selected, align my tires and explain to me the manufacturing date of my tires so I was aware of the warranty available for the services I received.

Had an appointment with this store at 1pm for wheel alignment. When I got there, I asked if they could finish in an hour. A technician said no because there was only two technicians and one of them was on lunch. Í didn’t have time to wait. So, I just wasted my time and gas for this trip. This tell me that the firestone online appointment scheduling can’t be trusted.

TERRIBLE service. Will not be returning and I would highly recommend that others avoid this place. I initially scheduled an oil & filter change and a complete vehicle inspection online for Friday at 6 pm. On Friday, I got an email saying the appt was cancelled. I called the shop and rescheduled my appt for Sunday at 1 pm. Upon arriving for my appointment, there were several people in the store and a of couple people ahead of me in line. After checking in I checked in, I was asked to come back in couple hours to pick up my car. This surprised me as I had a set appt and the services I requested do not typically take long. When I expressed this to the employee, he did not apologize, he just stated that there were many appts scheduled and they were backed up. He estimated that my car would be ready around 3:30 pm and said he would give me a call when it was ready. I hadn’t heard anything from the shop so I called at 3:45 for an update. I was put on hold for a while before being told that they just “took [my] car in.” Over 2.5 hours after my scheduled appt time!!!! When I expressed my frustration to the employee on the phone, he didn’t respond. I eventually said “hello” and his respond was, “you want me to cancel?” He was very rude and dismissive, and once again, no apology. He did, however, state that my car should be ready at 4:30 pm. Well 4:30 pm came around and I still hadn’t heard anything. The place closes at 5 pm so I was concerned. I finally got the call that my car was ready around 4:45 pm and I told the employee that I would head back to get my car. I got there a few minutes before 5 pm and the door was locked. I had to knock on the door to be let in and I worry that if I was a couple minutes later, he would have left without returning my car that he knew I was on my way back for. Anyways, once I was let in, I asked how the service went. The employee looked at the form and explained that some parts needed to be replaced. This should have already been communicated to me and I should have been asked what I wanted them to fix while they were servicing my car. I asked why they didn’t do this and his response was “they couldn’t today.” This is unacceptable. Why would they schedule me for a service on a day that they could not complete it?? Also, if I hadn’t asked about the service, I wouldn’t have been told. Now I have to find the time to take my car in again but I WILL NOT be going back to a Firestone. 4 hours of my day wasted sitting in the nearby mall waiting for my car to be ready. I wish I got the name of the employee at the front desk all day but he was not wearing a name tag. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HORRIBLE ORGANIZATION.

came in with such a good attitude after going thru a flat tire in the scorching 90 degree weather with a 6 month old just to be talked to like a kid idk why people have to bring there miserable life’s into work when there at work people need to be more professional I only asked when my car could be possibly done or even brought in or how many people were ahead of me was told in a smart remark well u know it’s not gonna be fast and well u know there’s other people here like I don’t see that like if I was rushing them when I clearly just wanted to know if there was a long wait so I could bring my daughter home place just talked me down very unprofessional never coming back here again.

I went in for a broken window motor. Had it fixed, then after picking up my vehicle, my trunk no longer opened or stayed open. Took back to Firestone, they said it was totally coincidental that the trunk no longer opens the day I pick it up from them after a service. They did not try to fix it. They did not even open the trunk door to inspect what the problem was. Told me to go to Nissan and see if Nissan thought they had anything to do with it. I am a mother of 4 and need my vehicle. I take it to Firestone for convenience of location, I will no longer take it there and will advise all my friends and family of the same. There is no way a totally different part of my vehicle breaks the day I pick it up from being serviced by Firestone for something else. Terrible customer service and what feels like being taken advantage of a mother of 4 kids.

My husband had his brakes serviced here a few months ago (a 2021 AMG C63S for reference) and the entire experience was a nightmare. The staff is difficult to get ahold of, they will keep your vehicle significantly longer than they initially tell you (not just hours extra, DAYS just to change some brake pads), and will leave you with a huge mechanic bill due to their faulty work. After the brakes were replaced my husband noticed a significant amount of squeaking and the check engine light came on immediately after picking it. He brought it to the dealership and it turned out the rear right parking brake actuator was damaged and would cost $1,200 to replace. The car went in with no issues, as it was dropped off for a routine brake service, and was picked up with several. Firestone has done nothing to rectify the situation, so now we’re out the cost of the brake replacement and the actuator that they 100% damaged during their service. Spare yourself headache and do not come here.

Great 5 star customer service . The guys in here are on top of things and really care about the customers needs. They always treat me and my wife with the outmost respect. Best place in the area for top notch Tires. 10/10 because Juan and his crew really strive for the best possible customer service possible. This place is a very busy location and he and the team always have a great attitude and really care about their customers and their vehicles. Very trustworthy manager Juan and his crew. Great experience. We had a work pickup truck with a flat tire from a nail at a construction site 5pm on a Friday night. We were able to get the truck to this location before they closed at 6pm. They not only fixed the flat, but also repaired slow leak on a second tire. (Next morning) This slow leak was brought to the dealership twice for repair, but the dealership was never able to locate the issue. They clearly identified the issue and repaired everything at a reasonable price.
