So, it's extremely annoying. I'm at a the mechanic for an appointment. I opted for Monday morning so I could be in faster since Saturday was going to be "all day to get you in." Was gonna deal with the 2 ish hours for Monday morning. Hand keys over, ask for an eta to confirm. Mech "Your number is (num here)?" Me " yeah, I brought books and might walk over to Wendy's if I'm hungry" Mechanic "oh it's gonna be all day" Me "I was told it was gonna be around two hours, the entire reason i made this appointment was so I wouldn't have to be here all day" Mech "Oh it's gonna be two or three hours before I can even look at it." I unfortunately have no other day I can commit to this shit so here I wait to find out how many hundreds of dollars my issue will cost to fix. 3 hours in they FINALLY get to my car. 10 minutes later get the worker who pulled my car in asking what I wanted quoted since the oil is leaking. "It's a 20 year old engine, they're all going to be leaking" For this quote alone it's worth more that I never again go to this location. But pair it with the prior experiences with the other staff and the sheer inability to honor appointments whatsoever. This place will never again have any of my business and I caution others away.

Took my Camry in here for an oil change, tire rotation, alignment, etc. Service was pretty good. Will definitely be back since they have the lifetime unlimited alignment program going on. They are doing a great job on my Yukon too!

They genuinely care about customers and their problems! Always willing to go out of the way to help ! Would recommend over and over ! I'm sure every place has ups and downs . Their service is good! Even with being short staffed , car was done in a reasonable time !

Absolutely Incompetent Service If I could give zero stars, I would. Firestone Complete Auto Care in Waco, TX, is the most unprofessional repair shop I’ve ever dealt with. I brought my GMC Acadia here after it broke down, and they claimed a full diagnostic revealed a malfunction in fuel injector #3. They recommended replacing all injectors, the fuel pump, and other parts, quoting me nearly $5,000. I specifically asked if this would fix ALL issues because the car’s value didn’t justify more repairs. They assured me it would. After spending $4,800 and driving the car home, the SAME problems—sputtering and warning lights—reappeared the very next day. I took the vehicle to another Firestone in Frisco, TX, where they diagnosed an issue with cylinder #1 and suspected it was related to fuel injector #3 (which was replaced). Firestone Waco’s failure to properly diagnose the issue or provide honest service is outrageous. Even worse, a third-party inspector later revealed numerous trouble codes (ignition coil faults, transmission issues, ABS faults) that Firestone Waco never disclosed to me. Clearly, these problems didn’t appear out of nowhere—they were missed or ignored by their incompetent staff during the initial diagnostic. Firestone Waco either misdiagnosed the problem or performed shoddy work. Their refusal to take responsibility, honor their warranty, or provide meaningful assistance is appalling. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to waste thousands of dollars and be left with a broken car.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before I posted this review. My minivan broke down in Waco over a weekend when I was here for a tournament. Since it was a Sunday and they didn’t perform diagnostics on that day, I had to leave it and have it towed there the next day. I loved being able to set an appointment online even though it wasn’t quite needed at the time, but at least they had all my info and the info on my vehicle. The only reason I didn’t make this five stars is because it’s pretty pricey. They charge $130 just for the diagnostic plus whatever work you get done. Some places include that amount if you also do the repairs. I had to pay $760 for a diagnostic, tuneup and brake fluid flush. I guess it does beat paying for a new motor all together, so it’s a win for me! I just drove it to San Antonio for a longer distance drive and it’s still running pretty good. I’m a satisfied customer!

I scheduled an appointment for tire replacement and wheel alignment on Thursday for the following Monday. During my conversation with the representative, I was informed that the tires were not yet in stock and would need to be ordered. I confirmed that this was acceptable as long as they arrived by Monday, to which he assured me they would. I requested that he contact me if there were any issues with the delivery, given that I reside outside of Waco. However, I did not receive a call, leading me to believe that the tires had arrived as expected. On Monday at 10 AM, I brought my car in for the scheduled appointment. After several hours without any updates, I decided to follow up with a phone call. The representative informed me that they were still awaiting one tire. I found this situation perplexing and frustrating, prompting me to visit the location for further clarification. Upon arrival, I was again told that only one tire had been received and that they were still waiting for the other. I struggle to understand how it is possible to receive only one tire while the others remain unaccounted for. This experience has highlighted significant communication issues, which I find unprofessional. It raises concerns about the value of scheduling appointments if the service cannot be fulfilled as promised. I would have appreciated timely updates or an initial notification regarding the missing tires, rather than making the trip to Waco under false pretenses. Consequently, I have decided to take my business elsewhere, where my time is valued and respected. I would advise against making appointments or conducting business at this location.

Arrived at store for 2 tires and an oil change was told their was 2 people ahead they had to get approval for the tires magicly I was told 5 people where ahead me sat and waited watching people come in after me and get serviced and leave 4 and half hours later they pulled my vehicle in and said it would be another hour would not recommend this store

I did not even get to ask 2 questions before I was literally talked to like I was trash. I asked how much it was at this shop for a state inspection (I AM NOT FROM TEXAS I WOULD NOT KNOW) and he goes "It's the same as every other place in Waco." With SUCH a tone. So rude. Will never recommend this place.

I stopped by today for the state inspection service, JOE who works told me, it will takes 45 minutes. After 50 min, not even touched my car. I talked to him, instead apologize, he keep saying inspection took 45 min, really?? I asked him several customers was there so how long will be take done. That's not an answer 45 min. He need more attention, and really bad communication, gives wrong information to the customers, he need provide better service for sure. Finally he said to me another 20 min will be start inspection of my car. I have to walked out, couldn't wait another hour again, gotta go for my next business. What a wasting my time!!!! 👎👎

Billy and Joe are upfront about services or repairs that your vehicle needs. They update you on the progress of your vehicle. Firestone also offers a credit card, if you qualify, no interest for 6 months for purchases over $200. I love that privilege

The workers here are always so friendly and helpful to me. They do not try to upscale me or anything. They let me know what work needs to be done, a timeline for when it should be done by, and an estimate that they stick to. I would recommend dropping off your car and picking it up later because it does take a while for them to service your car. However, it’s worth it me to receive quality service and maintenance on my vehicle at a reasonable price.

This store is always short handed. My recent visit there were only two mechanics working. They were two hard working gentlemen, Steven and Derrick. Scheduling an appointment at the Waco location is pointless, because they won't get to it until they get to it. That's troublesome when that is your only vehicle and can't get a ride to and from the shop.

Brought a rental car into them to look at. It had a tear and both rear tires were bald. The mechanic took a look and right away new this car should not be driven any more let alone back to Austin. This helped me get over to the waco airport to exchange the car. I highly recommend Billy and his Team !

UPDATE: Made an appointment at Discount Tire where they know how to run a shop properly & adhere to a schedule & predetermined service time. Go to Discount Tire! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT FIRESTONE! Appointments are meaningless here, so plan accordingly. 8am appointment Dropped off at 7:45 Called at 12:30 (they were "about to start on it") I was told 2-4 hours & had planned for such, so I picked up without work being done. Employees very rude & unapologetic. If they can't respect me or my time, then they don't deserve my money. Good luck shopping here if you choose to do so.

Didn’t have an appt. Dropped car off at 8:30. Was called by 11:30 to let me know the issue. They were honest. Said I needed 3 tires but explained had a little more time on 2 of them. Had my car ready by 5pm. Explained everything in detail to me. Really liked in and out the same day.

Had an 8AM appointment for tires, oil change, front end alignment check, and a state inspection. Stopped by at 3:45PM to check on the progress of my vehicle and found it sitting in the same parking spot where I had left it at 8AM. Nothing had been done, they hadn’t touched it. I walked in and asked why my vehicle hadn’t been touched. Manager said the 8AM appointment was just a drop off appointment. I immediately asked for my key and left. I’ve been using them for over 17 years and will not do business with them again under their current management.

I arrived at 7:30 am for a tire alignment. In the past this has not been an issue and the alignment could easily get completed that day: Today when I waked in, I was told it would be about a week before it could be done. The gentleman then pointed to all of the cars in the parking lot. Obviously, Firestone is having either some management issues or need to hire more staff. I have been going to Firestone for years and things have always been so efficient. Hopefully, Firestone can operate again like they did in the past. I have never been turned away before. And on top of that being told it will be around a week before they can schedule me in.

II just bought brand new tires from Firestone and this week I had a flat I called and the gentleman that I was speaking to was not friendly at all, I explained to him what happened and needed my tire fixed ASAP, when I got there Joe was extremely friendly and helpful, He told me, Mrs.Salinaa "I will take care of you TODAY"!!! Thank you Joe for going the Extra Mile for me, YOU ARE THE BEST!!! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE JOE!!!

Had an AM appointment for service After 3 1/2 hours i asked when my car would be done, they didn't clarify that my car was going to be serviced in the PM since they are short staffed. I dont live nearby so i had to cancel my service. If I wanted my car serviced at night I wouldn't have made an appointment in the morning to make sure I had transportation that night/afternoon...
