I was having an issue with my car not turning on occasionally. I wanted to see if I could get it fixed before I’d end up stranded somewhere. Jeet was able to take a look at it and fix the problem in about an hour on a Saturday. Everything felt straight forward and the price was reasonable!

I had a really great experience here with First Choice Auto Repair and Brakes. I came in for an oil change, tire rotation, alignment, and I had a leak in one of my tires. I dropped my car off first thing at 9am and was informed it would be ready later that afternoon but I wasn’t in a rush so I told them they could take their time. They called me in the afternoon the next day and all was good. I thought the price was very reasonable and at no time did I feel like I was being taken advantage of or like I was being took. After I paid and they handed me my keys, they mentioned that my tread was getting pretty low and recommended that I get a new set of tires before the rainy season. I was waiting for their pitch but … that was it. They never tried to push or sell me a new set of tires. I asked them if they did tires there and they said yes and I definitely will be coming back to them when I’m ready to get a new set.

I was in immediate need of service to my car, and couldn't drive it back to San Francisco where I live as the car was overheating. I work up the street from the business and found them when I searched for nearby auto repair shops. Their reviews were great, so I called them and was told that I could drop my car off after getting out of work. They kept my car safe for the night and had it ready for me the next day. They easily diagnosed my problem and fixed it without delay. Needless to say, I was very grateful and relieved. Customer service here was friendly and I felt that my car was in good hands. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely excellent service. I call on Saturday at 10am and they said they could handle my car brakes issues. It turned into brakes,two tires,brakes disc and bushing. He promised completion at 2pm. He finished all repair on time as stated. I would gladly return my vehicle if I needed service again. Please don't judge your repair shop by appearance but by quality of work performance. This was my first ever visit to this shop.

This must sound like a oxymoron but it is true. Honest Mechanic Shop. A mechanic shop that has your Best interest at heart. I have done circles at dealerships and always come back to do business with these gentlemen. Jeet & Prab are great guys. They love what they do and always go the extra mile. If you want unbiased, reliable, and guaranteed service, make this your shop.

Thank you Jit for fixing my car quickly and for a fair price. Rear brake rotors were warped and needed to be resurfaced and brake pads needed to be replaced. The tire shop that alerted me to this doesn’t do resurfacing and wanted to charge me three times the price to replace the rotors, which have plenty of thickness left. First Choice Auto saved me a lot of money and I feel good that these rotors were not discarded unnecessarily. They did this work quickly and with little notice, which is really appreciated when it comes to brakes in particular.

Had a very pleasant experience the first time and have now returned for various work on both my Lexus’s. Prab was professional, gave accurate time estimate and has a very fair price. I used to go to the dealer but now I trust Prab and only let him work on my cars. I have had my breaks, tires and a coolant leak fixed by Prab and every time I have been satisfied. It’s hard to find a good honest mechanic, I’m happy to have found this place.

I have been going to these guys for a few years, for my 2007 prius, 2015 prius, and honda fit. Each time, they have been helpful in checking out the issue (I have had my catalytic converter stolen three times, tires flat due to pot holes and battery issues) and then quoting me a fair price and repairing it quickly. Im grateful they are close to bart so i can bart home after dropping off my car too. They have helped me install shield and rebar cage to prevent further catalytic converters from being stolen. They are very knowledgeable about cars and generously answer any questions I have on the phone and in person. I feel comfortable and grateful for their service. Thanks prahab and jeet!

I love this shop. Prab, is by far one of the most honest and understanding mechanic I have ever come across. I bought my Subaru from their shop and service it there as well. The service is efficient and Prab and his brother are friendly and welcoming.

My Prius was having squeaking sound from the rear brakes and the dealership quoted over $2000 for a whole replacement of the rear brake system. So glad that I took it there and they only charged $440 to fix the problem! Thanks First Choice Auto for saving me from a rip off from the Toyota Dealership.

My car broke down last week no start. I called around shops no one was available take me same day found first choice auto repair in Google. Guy name prab answer phone I told him my situation about my car. He was so nice got me in same day. An hour later my car was dropped off to them. they called me, they found my starter went out car wasn't starting. He quoted me very good price parts and labor for my Honda CR-V. Got my car back on road same day. Very happy with their work and customer service. Very friendly honest mechanic. Now my car due for brake job.i am going back next week.

Needed new rotors and brake pads on my Acura TL as my brakes were pulsating when I braked going downhill. I had an estimate at another nearby repair shop that it would cost $550. I called First Choice and they said bring it in right away. I did...and 3 hours later I picked the car up. The cost $360. FAST and excellent work. And they're just a block away from MacArthur BART Station. Fantastic. This really is as good as it gets.

Someone stole my catalytic converter from my 2009 Prius. I was calling around I found first choice auto repair. Luckily they had catalytic converter in stock got me in shop same day. Was able to finish my car next day. I was so stressed out this only car I use for daily. Also I was having some problems with brakes they took care that fixed everything. I usually don’t write reviews but this one they deserve it. I am very glad I found them, in future I will be coming back if it need any more work. Highly recommend
