My aim in this review is to be completely honest , that being said I come here more than I'd like to admit . The staff are friendly and the owner is usually very amicable . Unfortunately my car always seems to have something wrong with it or parts keep breaking . There are a few staff members that really take the time to help me figure things out in hard economical times for replacing things piece by piece. I have had to come back a few times for the same issues , but they have been very kind in fixing the problems or correcting mistakes . Honestly they do feel like a family mechanic shop. The only guy I've ever been frustrated with was the guy with sunglasses (I think Tony) , he just seems a bit egotistical and doesn't really speak much. Pricing can definitely be up there depending on the job being done , but like I said they usually inform me of things and help me repair them piece by piece . I would've given five stars , but I feel five stars is perfection. And although this is really the only shop I'll take my car to, I feel they need just a few more really experienced mechanics on their team

These guys are very professional and good at what they do. I found them on Google and I'm glad I did. I took my car to get some work and they did an excellent job 👍. Prices are great too!!. I will be going back. Strongly recommend.

Great service. Only had oil changes, I bring my own oil and filter, he only charges $25- 15min usually

My goto for oil changes, tires, and basic work. Always fast and fair. I have an older vehicle and they never try to push big repairs like some shops do.

Came here after another shop tried to claim I needed a transmission replacement. These guys gave me the real diagnosis and saved me about $6,000. Very grateful to these guys. Honest and efficient.

This shop is the best shop in Tampa they will treat you better than any place I ever dealt with.they will not charge you for something that is not broke.they have never over charged me and I will stand on that every day of the week.i want to thank Tony and his crew....good job guys...

same as becky i wish i read their 1 star comments place lied to me and said they fix air conditioning unit that was leaking freon in my truck. after paying them $150 to put dye in my system they wasted hours of my time putting dye in truck to find leak they tell me to come back another day i come back another day and they tell me they cant fix it !! what a rip off i went to another mechanic to have ac properly repaired they could have just told me they dont fix airconditioning to begin with !! wasted my money and more importantly my time ! dont go there for ac repair

This place is probably fine for tire repairs or oil changes. But anything that needs real diagnostics or expertise, this is NOT the place to go. They will perform unnecessary repairs and your car and it will still not work. And they will be 100% unapologetic about it. The staff is not qualified for proper diagnosis. If you go two miles down the road. You can go to master mechanics at Bay Brothers and get your car repairs done with warranties and a great honest QUALIFIED staff. Please review the one stars that they have received. That was my first mistake. I saw all the 5 stars and just THOUGHT they were a good place.

I came from out of town and had a brake system failure on the way. These guys are honest and dependable! Showed me the issue then repaired it for a more than fair price! They saved our vacation and had me back on the road within 2 hours. A++ I have recommend them enough!

The best service, so grateful I started coming to Fix To Go Auto Care on Nebraska Avenue. My recent visit was to check my ac that had not been working, the guys addressed the issue in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. I first learned about Fix to Go when my nephew broke a serpentine belt and the tow driver recommended them. I was amazed at how reasonable they were and how quickly they were able to repair the car. I went back myself for a headlight replacement and once again, efficient and reasonable. Yesterday my check engine light came on. I've seen this happen for a number of reasons on other cars and checked to make sure my gas cap was on tight. That didn't fix the problem so I took it in first thing this morning. Apparently something was gumming up the cap, they cleaned it up and got me right back on the road. I'll keep going back and I'm recommending them to all my family and friends!!!
