Went here for an inspection for my Tesla. I was lucky in that there was only one person ahead of me - was done within 15 minutes of arrival. Everyone was super friendly and helpful as well!

Their equipment failed to connect to my car so they failed the inspection claiming that my car's obd port wasn't working. They tried a 2nd time and it failed again, even though their scanner confirmed that the car's computer is working fine. Next morning it passed without any issues at another inspection station. There's at least one other review reporting the same problem a month ago. Most likely their equipment is faulty and can't connect to certain cars. I talked with the manager and sent them all the docs and instead of just making it right since they weren't able to check emissions readiness with their equipment, their final answer is that I should have come back and try a third time to see if it magically starts working. Lack of accountability by the management.

Don’t go here. They’re more interested in operating a gas station than providing inspections. There are no clear markers about where to go, but they’ll tell you you’re blocking them, when it’s actually the gas pumps blocking everything, and tell you to get in the end of the “line”, which isn’t a line at all. I wasn’t parked at the gas pumps. I pulled into the bay. There was no line, no signs stating to “check in”, nothing, just an empty line. But I was “blocking the way.” They’ll be out of business when TX no longer requires inspections in 2025. I guess they’re resigned to going out of business.

Failed my inspection no reason said my comp was not working. Went to another inspection place and passed. They just ripped off your money. Don't recommend

Went and was told I needed a new 3rd brake light to pass inspection. Had that fixed, returned, and was now told that my tint is too dark. That was not on the first report. Super frustrating since I don't know who to believe. They are inconsistent! Which is a problem if all the inspectors are doing things differently.

This place des not deserve to go. They do not have a air conditioner break room and force people to wait outside in the hot summers or cold winters. They also do not have restrooms and charge an extra fee if you pay with a credit card.

Beware if you have tints on your windows. Never failed a state inspection with my 12 year old car I bought as is until I brought it here. My tints aren’t illegal but this place said they were. There are other inspection sites in the area that won’t waste your time.

One of the worst places that offer this service I only went there because they are open on Sundays but I will never return they only charge and deny that you have passed the inspection they look for any excuse not to pass it they think that you are going to pay them again a total failure I would never recommend this place 👎 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Fast, efficient and so happy. I tried 3 other places first to be ignored, told their inspector was already gone, asked if I can leave my car for an hour. Which is ridiculous. Thank you so much, you are my go to from now on!

30 minute wait or more for a car inspection, which is fine. But won't let you use the restroom while you wait. How are you gonna ask someone to wait and not let them go to the bathroom?

I just got my state inspection and want to compliment the employees at Flashpoint. I used to go to another local shop that will remain nameless, a location that had fast service but--in recent years--truly rude employees. I wanted a place that was quick and convenient but it got to the point that this was no longer workable. I wondered if it was me, but when I looked on their google reviews, I found that it was most certainly not just me. Anyway, Flashpoint was recommended to me and yes, they are quick and convenient and SO NICE AND FRIENDLY! The woman who took my payment--so sweet and cheerful! The guy who inspected my car, Kade, absolutely as nice as could be! I was in and out in about 20 minutes and from start to finish, the people with whom I interacted were lovely. Thank you, Flashpoint, and great job...see you next year!

Disorganized. They couldn't be bothered to find me in the waiting area when they finished. The office lady locked my keys in her office while she went on lunch or smoke break for 30mins. I spent a total of 2 hours at this place. they may not be worth your time or money.

Open on Sunday! Fast (30 minutes). Just handed them the proof of insurance paper copy from my car; they didn't need me to email it to them. No hassle from start to finish. What more can you ask for? Okay so you could ask for a bigger parking lot. But being open on Sunday is almost worth 5 stars on its own.

The car didn't pass the inspection because of a " previous code in the OBD port " if it's a previous then it's previous lol. Y'all need to get it together🤡.

I absolutely love coming here to get my annual vehicle inspection. This is my second year to come. Fast service!!! Be sure to have your insurance card in a pdf. When you arrive they ask you to email them a copy. Then you wait! Very reasonable and only took 20 mins. I'll be back for sure!
