After my mechanic retired, several of my coworkers recommended Frank's Auto on Irving Park Road. I was told they have highly trained mechanics, and they don't price gouge. My co-workers were spot on. The employees at Frank's are knowledgeable and friendly. No one wants to pay for car repair, but Frank's Auto truly doesn't price gouge. Now Frank's is the ONLY place I'll take my car.

Awesome experience working with Mike! I definitely recommend coming here. Everyone was professional and super respectful. They stand behind all their parts they install. They offer a 12000 mile or 12 month whichever comes first on parts and labor performed. I would highly recommend frank autos.

Pro Service- Passing thru the area my car broke down and Mikes shop was closest to tow to. Mike and his team fit me into the already busy day, diagnosed problem, I got a pro repair and back on the road. The other people that were there for service seemed very happy to work with Mike and his team.

My wife noticed the car was riding strange and the brakes were mushy. Took it in and had them check it out. Got a call back the next day explaining what was needed. New tires, front brakes and shocks and several other things. Said it would be ready in 4 days. Only took three. Have been using Franks for over ten years and have found the service to always be A-one. Giles explains ahead of time what is needed, why and sometimes certain items can be used in their current condition but gives me a time frame to have them replaced. They are as honest as old Abe Lincoln and have never had a bad experience. They have earned my 5 star review.

Honestly cannot speak highly enough of Giles, Mike and the entire crew at Frank's. They explain in clear terms what the problem is and every avenue of mitigation, including prioritizing major vs minor repairs. I know when I talk to them I am getting a real answer and I appreciate so much that I can ask questions and will not get a brush off or run-around. They are straight up good people who charge honestly for their work. I recommend them to family and friends and strangers alike.

I'm satisfied with their service and explanations. My 2011 Mazda 3 overheated and was clearly leaking coolant. I was on the highway and took awhile to get an exit so I thought maybe I drove it too much and the head gasket (and therefore the car) would be toast. Mike at Frank's diagnosed the problem, repaired it, and took the time after that repair to make sure there wasn't something worse going on. I think they did their due diligence and gave me a fair deal. I'll be back next time something breaks down.

Finally took my car to Frank’s based on a recommendation from a family member that I had put off because it was kind of far from me. I had been driving my Toyota Highlander for months despite its Entune System (basically car’s electronics/infotainment operating system) complete failure - no radio, no map, no monitor, no backup camera, no compass, hell remote didn’t work so car would not even lock if it was off! Been to three other mechanics and each basically referred me to a dealer to have it all replaced. Dealer said would be all Reconditioned parts and a lot of labor - probably $2000 or more of work. And no guarantee. I took it to Frank’s and Giles ran some diagnostics and examined the engine and resolved the problem in two hours. Saved me a ton of money and a huge hassle. THIS PLACE KNOWS HOW TO FIX CARS AND TREATS CUSTOMERS HONESTLY AND FAIRLY!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

I saw the great reviews and decided to check this place out and I wasn't disappointed. Frank is a stand up guy who was helpful and didn't waste my time or was out to make as much as he could when your In a pickle. I recommend this place 100 💯 I will return in future when I have another problem
