I strongly recommend avoiding this shop. The workers were sketchy, made me wait for hours without communication, and failed to fulfill their promise of working on my car. Avoid at all costs.

They treated my gf terribly and erased her negative review. Be aware of the positive reviews. They remove the negative ones to inflate their rating. Would not recommend this shop to anyone.

I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of an affordable good mechanic. I have had them replace my alternator and transmission in two different vehicles. Excellent service and fast as well. The owner Hayder is very professional and friendly, easy and fun to talk to. Please go see them for all your mechanical needs!

This shop has saved me so much time and money over the last year. From repairs on my older vehicle, to upgrades on my truck. Every time the cost has been significantly lower than what the dealership shops quoted. I highly recommend these fair and experienced professionals. As long as I live in El Paso Fresh Start is my go to!

Hayder and his team are knowledgeable and responsive mechanics. There are cars for sale onsite, too, if your vehicle needs to be replaced. Bought my Pathfinder here and love it!

I had gone there several times and had a decent experience until they damaged my vehicle while working on it and decided they were gonna charge me extra for their mishap. A poor experience, I would not recommend this shop and would pay a little extra to go anywhere else.

Took my 2016 Ford Fusion to get AC worked on and he very quickly diagnosed the problem.He ordered the compressor and installed it same day the part came in. Hayder is a very honest mechanic which is a bit hard to find these days. Highly recommend his shop.

So I recently bought a new car from here and all I can say is it was the biggest regret I could make. The owner and his sons that work there are just a bunch of scams, the cars they sell are junk that are deeply detailed for you into buying. Not just the car has many problems but the owner as well. I recommend you don’t buy a car from here I had to sell mine luckily enough for a down payment on something better. He will tell you a price over phone and in person have a whole different price. Don’t waste your time on this place unless you wanna spend whatever you spent on buying the car in a month or two.

I came here after going to Firestone and Pep Boys, both of which gave me suspiciously high quotes for the trouble I reported. I suspected they were trying to rip me off. I decided to get a third opinion from a local non-chain mechanic. I chose Fresh Start based on the excellent Google reviews. Glad I did. He properly diagnosed my issue (a noise) that the two chain stores misdiagnosed. Firestone had wanted to do $7,000 (!) worth of work on my ten year old Civic. Pep Boys quoted me $2k. Neither quote included fixing what ultimately turned out to be the actual issue, which was a loose bearing. Instead they wanted to do unnecessary work on brake rotors and other stuff. Hayder at Fresh Start properly diagnosed my issues -- just the issues that actually needed attention -- and quoted me $850, telling me the work would be done in two days. Two days later, he called me to let me know the work was done. He charged me as per the quote and I found that the work had been performed as promised. HONEST, QUALITY WORK, PUNCTUAL. Highly recommended. A+

I had a broken moter mount. He said $150 for labor and it would be ready in 2 days. Parts and labor came out to $170.00. He had it done in under 24 hours. If and when I have something I don't want to do myself I will always come back here. I highly recommend this to anyone. This guy is straight up.

If you're wanting your car fixed right if you want your car fixed with an exceptional mechanic team if you want your car fixed at the right price without over gouging go to fresh start tell them Greg Thomas sent you because I've been going to them for at least 6 years and I haven't had to spend exorbitant amount of money to get my cars repaired or fixed they repair your car as quick as they can they have a lot of business but they do it in a timely manner with the right price account I love going to fresh start The mechanic the owner harder is truly a professional he'll tell you what's going on before he makes any kind of repairs in your car sometimes it takes a little bit longer sometimes it's easy for him but he knows what he's doing he can get your car back on the road and I enjoy taking my car some fresh start
