Owner is a scam artist and not educated. Only stick to tires if you go here if you need anything else find a real mechanic. Tried to charge me 150 for a “diagnostic” on my transmission when I watched him just pull the dip stick out while the car wasn’t even running so obviously it didn’t read correctly. Then tried to say I needed my transmission replaced and charge me $4000. I declined, took somewhere else where they found that the trans fluid was in fact low due to a hose leak. NOTICE ALL GOOD REVIEWS ARE FOR TIRES ONLY DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS HERE FOR ANYTHING ELSE

Don’t come here for any type of service. They’ll say it’s 60$ for alignment and then they’ll say the camber is off and want to charge 200$ the owner is a scam artist he is super sketchy but then again what Indian guy isn’t right. There was a guy waiting while I was there and I convinced him to leave . He was lucky Don’t come here!!!!! Go to léals on 175 and Elam honest guys and won’t scam you like the owner at friends auto

DO NOT GO HERE.The first time I took my car here, the experience was really good. The 2nd time turned into a nightmare. I took my car in. He told me what was wrong. Said it would be $1200. I needed my car so i told him to go ahead and do it. I took my car in on a monday. Told me it would be ready Tuesday afternoon. On Tues, I didn't hear from him so I texted at 4:03 asking about my car. He replied saying it would be 20 min. Never heard back so called around 6. He texted back saying "wait please". I heard nothing back. They close at 7. I had to take off work on Wednesday because I never heard back. Wednesday morning he finally texted saying they were working on it, etc. Told me I needed a fuel pump. Told me the part was very expensive and it would cost $800 and sent me a picture of the $800 part. A friend looked up that EXCAT PART online and it was $120. I sent the mechanic the picture my friend sent me and asked if this was the $800 part he needed. He said yes. (Clearly it said $120 on the picture i sent him)He said price he quoted "was the original price, not the after market price" He was trying to charge me $800 for a part that costs $120. I asked him to just be honest with me and he went off saying I was upsetting him. (I will post text messages from him) This man had my car for 4 days. Each day, something different would be wrong that they were trying to find parts for. On Thursday, I called him for an update. He was rude and told me I was asking to many questions! Finally, Friday, he said it was ready. In total between the cash I gave him and the credit I was approved for, this man got $1055 from me. My car broke down on the freeway within 2 hours of me picking it up. I had to pay another $100 to get it towed home. Im out almost $1200 for a brokedown car on top of my ubers to work. He has destroyed my car. Saturday, my daughter walked up to get gas because the car had no gas. All the gas leaked out onto the driveway at my house. He told me to bring the car back to him but I'm not letting him touch my car ever again. Gas was spewing out of it. It won't even start. I am now without a car AND broke.

Great service every time I have taken my car there for inspection the past couple of years. It was also convenient because I was working around the corner. It's that time again & guess where i'm going even though it is over a 30 minute drive.

Horrible place to go! I even had to get the cops involve, the owner / manager was horrible, lies about the returning time. He doesn’t care about the job just the money. Never will I go here again

They have help us to fix both of ours cars and they did a good job. We have no complaints. All the workers are very nice and explain everything to you. Also love that they have payments plans. Will refer them..

well i can't give this business a half star, it won't give me the option... worst place to do business. its been a minute since i visited friends auto care... they say 1st impressions leaves an lasting impression, so true. my story is i was in need of a 10 ply trailer tire. i ask one of the employees about this... ( btw... employees were nice and courteous ) he informed me the owner would know more in detail, give me a few and i'll call him for you. so i waited around 10-15 minutes and before the owner arrived another customer pulled up. the owner got out of his vehicle and preceded over to the customer that just pulled up said hello and shook his hand, not saying a word or acknowledging me.... finally he walked over and said im looking for trailer tires for you. I said never mind. He just looked at me and said why... i told him he was rude and non professional for not greeting and acknowledging me the way he did with the other customer, and he didn't deserve my business. Moral to my story greet and acknowledge me... or i'll go elsewhere to do business. in which i did... Hamms tire service on interstate 30, 505 s carroll ave dallas tx. atleast there they will greet you and appreciate your business.

0-10 do not recommend CAUTION PLACE! Went to go get a tire for right passenger side on 04/13 but was told at that time another tire needing to be replaced, which I went back on 04/14 to get the left driver side. Had to go back a few days later on 04/18 due to tire bubbles showing up on both front left and right tire and also my car started shaking after picking my daughter up from school. My car wasn’t shaking until getting the 2 front tires put on at this place. The owner/manager insisted and was getting loud saying/blaming I hit something for the bubbles to come up, should’ve recorded him yelling and getting loud but wasn’t on my mind at the time. I’ve been to this place a few times to get used tires with no issue but this one time had my car messed up. For long long stressful weeks been trying to figure out why my car is all of a sudden shaking and smoking out of my left driving side tire/rim. Been having the problems for a month or so and work has be done on the car after the crappy tires. Work was not done from this shop, would not trust them for that. Found out basically my tires were too small the tires the shop put on were 215/50R17 which is a slight difference from my original tire size which is 225/50R17. Tire size definitely matters, owner was saying it doesn’t but it for sure does and definitely dangerous. I understand people try to sale sale sale but it’s not more important than risking peoples lives. Just say we don’t have your tire size instead of putting the wrong tires size on to get money and putting people at risks. Will never in life go back after a horrible horrible experience, could’ve been worse but thankful it wasn’t

Great shop, great owner, great guys working on the car. I came in because other shops told me I had a lot of work to do but Kareem did a thorough check of my car, and figured out the exact issues, saving me a lot of money with great warranty. They have a customer for life now.

I called Friends automotive an EK told me to bring my car in, he was very kind a polite. He found out what was wrong and fixed it the same day. They were quick an efficient I will definitely bring my car to him for any future needs. Thank you EK God Bless you all.

Came to get my brakes done. Owner was friendly and got what we needed done. I should have came here back in September when I got my brakes done last time instead because that other place over charged me. I’ll be coming here for any of my other car needs since the service is great and it’s only a few minutes from home

Living 3 hours away we came into Dallas for a boat show. Coming out of the show late on Saturday we had a flat with no spare. We called many places and told them our situation and most said sorry but we were not taking any more customers. We called Friends Auto Care and they said bring by the tire and we can fix you up. When we arrived, 15 minutes before close, each bay had at least 1 vehicle being serviced. We were greeted immediately and was in and out with a newly used tire for a very reasonable price within 15 minutes. Thanks Friends Auto!
