Stop looking at other places - this is where you want to go. Single woman, being quoted $2k by other places, fully expecting to be overcharged wherever I go. I pull in here last week and the guy is so chill, does some work and dots some paint on and tells me to buy the part needed myself to save money and come back with it. I did that today and it's installed and he asked for less than 5% of what others were quoting. AND my friend got to play on their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle vintage arcade machine while we waited which made his day. Will be recommending to everyone.

Robert and the team at Fruitvale Collision are so delightful to work with. I called based on previous reviews and I was not disappointed. He asked me to text photos of the work I needed done before I drove or towed my car to his shop. He responded quickly, gave me a quote before coming in and my luck of the draw was able to fix my car that same day I called! He did not try to add on any additional things I did not need or ask for and the price was beyond fair. Sadly for my pocket book I have another car I will be bringing to him and I would highly recommend him for any of your collision repair needs. I can’t thank him enough for getting my car back out there. His team is quick to respond and fast at the work too! Thank you Robert & team.

I believe choosing this body shop was the best decision I made this year. The day before Thanksgiving, while driving to the market, a reckless driver hit the side of my blue Honda and fled. The car's side was dented, and the door was severely scratched. Fortunately, I was able to schedule the repair at a body shop suggested by the insurance company. However, after reading negative reviews about that body shop, I sought another option and found Fruitvale Collision Center. The repair only took around three days because the body shop staff ordered the parts first and then took my car in. When I picked up my car, it was completely fixed and appeared as if it had never been in an accident. The staff members communicated and responded quickly. They were friendly and professional in explaining the problem clearly. I highly recommend this place to others!

We would've gone with Fruitvale Collision Center had we not gotten repair assistance from a friend. Robert and Jose were responsive on Yelp and over text, provided competitively priced quotes that laid out options for using new or used parts, were candid in their professional opinions about the work we were inquiring about, and ultimately referred us to Autoglass Medics who replaced our windshield. Will definitely look to them for any future auto body work!

My car's trunk was vandalized the night of July 4th and I did NOT have comprehensive coverage. Concerned that it would be expensive, I then contacted FCC and Robert understood my situation. Robert was able to come up with an acceptable rate and was in contact with me throughout the entire process. My car looks good as new thanks to the amazing technicians at FCC. THANK YOU!

These guys made themselves my go-to, first-choice n body shop for the following reasons: excellent work, extremely reasonable prices, great service, and none of the up-sell "bloat" you'd see at other shops. They fix what needs fixing (and nothing more), do it properly, and charge a fair price. Not sure how you can beat that, or why you'd even try.

After a collision, I took my badly damaged Honda Fit (on the front end) to this business. They were great. Did a great job. Kept me informed on the progress, as some of the parts (air bag) were stuck in the supply chain. I hope I will never need more body work done on a car , but if I do, I’m heading back to this repair center. I also will recommend them to any one I know who might need body work done on their vehicle. Robert was very communicative. Great business.

They were quick to respond both through Yelp messaging and follow-up over the phone, ordered and received the necessary lights to fix my front headlight within a couple of hours, and finished repair even sooner than they estimated or I expected! I had hit a deer over the weekend (the deer was fine, I promise! Hopped off the highway without any sign of injury) and my front headlight was shattered. $380 felt steep to me but was more than fair as it was the lowest out of all the other estimates I got. I learned that my Nissan Altima had tricky lights to get, and Fruitvale Collision fixed my bumper at no extra charge. I was concerned the auto sensing option of my light would be affected, but a month later and no problems at all. Tip: if you want to wait it out somewhere, Red Bay Coffee and Ale Industries are a relatively quick walk away and have spacious outdoor seating. I wanted to get tacos but couldn't see any places with outdoor dining I would feel safe with yet.

First and foremost, the customer service is excellent. I was able to communicate with the owner and get all the details of the process along with updates with my insurance BEFORE MY INSURANCE. They were able to work with me in a pretty bad situation (my car got hit by a deer) and it looked like it was going to be a total loss. Roberto was able to work with my insurance to make sure that wouldn't happen and repair the car (2019 Hyundai Elantra). I only had the car a few months so to experience a total loss would be bad. I don't know the ins and outs of body work but it was pretty clear to me that not only the owner but the staff knew how to take a wreck and make it look pristine again. When I got my car back, it was freshly washed and looks like it had just come out of the lot when I first purchased it. Overall an excellent shop, I had previously used Caliber Collision in Oakland but I will be bringing my car back to Fruitvale Collision Center after this EXCELLENT experience.

What a great and trustworthy shop! The head guys, Jose and Robert, are so nice and knowledgeable. Our SUV ended up needing pretty major front end repairs, and when other shops said nothing could be done, these guys saved the day!! They even assembled and installed custom Off-road bumpers that we were wanting to get. And they kept us updated by text and with photos from the shop during the entire process. Really great service and reasonable prices. Thanks so much guys!!

This review is long overdue. In dec 2019, they fixed some scruffs and paint scratches for free. The front bumper needed to be taken out and reattached. Their quote was super reasonable. They returned the car on time and as promised. I would go back to them anytime.

Went here for a front bumper that was falling off my car. OEM repair shops and other body shops quoted me 1000-1200$ for repair costs and replacement but Robert did it in 20 minutes and was super kind and professional. I initially contacted them on yelp and they immediately knew and approached me when I pulled in. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing to get anything fixed/modified on their car.
