Full Detail Automotive is an absolute gem to have around this area. I'm impressed with the honest and open communication about the work being done throughout the entire process. Even before I was an official customer, Mike was always willing to help answer my questions since I had recently purchased an FD RX-7. The amount of detail that Mike puts into the inspections and overall work is awesome, and I'll definitely be back for any future work!

Mike is a top notch mechanic. He was able to fit me in same day and was very transparent about the work he was doing, sending photos and videos. He doesn’t talk down to his customers. Next time I have car trouble, I’m calling Mike first.

Got a timing job done on my 96 Z32 a couple years ago and I never gave these guys the recognition they deserve. Outstanding communication, fair prices; they understand the passion their clients have for their cars and they share it. The car ran great for the last 2 years with absolutely no issues timing related. Great work guys, will continue to recommend you to my JDM friends!!

We loved using the dyno here! Very cool setup and very JDM feel. The owner is a very cool guy, very accommodating! If you’re looking for an easy access hub dyno this is your spot.

Great shop that cares about you as well as your vehicle. Mike is a very detailed and ace a mechanic. He will make sure you are well taken care of. I highly recommend you pay him a visit for any car needs.

I honestly cannot recommend FDA and Mike enough - a genuine person and great professional. I scheduled time with Mike to resolve a major coolant leak, perform some maintenance, and do a full vehicle inspection and my expectations were blown away. Mike was very open and transparent in his communication, and I received messages on the work he was doing frequently with pictures and explanations. On the inspection, he took detailed pictures of the every aspect of the vehicle and walked me through his findings, good and bad. He's even gone out of his way to come by my house and make a small fix - going above and beyond. I'm working with him on future plans for my RX-7 and cannot wait to for the end result!

Carlos, red MR2. First time there. Mike put together a nice gathering and displayed some very nice cars! And I met some very cool people. Will come again. I'd only ask that when attending these events, you don't do burnouts. The asphalt is WAY too loose, and rocks and pebbles can go flying and cause damage or harm.

It's truly a blessing to have Full Detail Automotive in Tampa. Best experience I have had with a shop. Mike brings customer service to the next level. We talked about my build and what I want to do with car and what type of budget I'm looking to do. Mike provided me a parts and labor break down and I saw parts that was cheaper than I thought it would be and the parts that I know the price was right on the money. The pictures and texts and Instagram posts showed me the progress and findings as he went through the build. The detail and vision Mike has with especially the engine bay is a piece of art and the other parts of the car he touches is like it was his own car. I told him to do his thing and I truly enjoyed the whole experience.

The fellas at Full Detail Automotive are top notch humans and master craftsmen. Their services run from extremely simple maintenance to custom swaps and parts applications to feats of seemingly impossible engineering I’ve thrown at them. They treat my Germans and my Japanese and I am happy to have found a fit for both at the same shop. This review is long overdue and a allows me to issue tremendous thank you for years of steadfast and consistently great results to Mike and the supporting gang gang. I never leave Google Reviews but Mike is just wonderful! He is very knowledgable, reassuring, honest and takes good care of my very old car. I have a Mazda Protege and I take it to his place everytime it needs to be checked out. Mike always spends time explaining what the issues are and make sure I walk out happily. The shop also opens late which is a plus for me because I can bring my car to the place after work. Highly recommend this place👏

I’m pretty mechanically inclined when it comes to Honda’s but I am new to the FD gang. So when I purchased my second FD it was running a little hotter than the first one and I grew concerned. After searching and asking everyone in town who I should go see ..., Numerous ppl referred me to Full Detail Automotive. I then setup an apt. with Mike. When I got to the shop I explained to him what I was going thru and he immediately noticed the issue and let me know what it was up front. I hadn’t paid this guy a dollar and he already solved the problem. Finding honest ppl in the world is hard enough . I’m happy to say that this is where my FD will be for any further mechanical issues , upgrades ... etc. Thanks again for a great experience Mike!

My experience here could not have gone better! Mike was extremely thorough and communicated with me during the whole process. My car came to his shop with a lot of issues and he got down to the root of everything. I greatly appreciate all the time he spent and how he sent updates so I was never left hunting him down for answers lol. I missed my car while it was being fixed but he figured everything out (in a timely manner too for the amount of problems I gave him to solve) and I couldn’t be happier! Going forward, Mike is definitely the only person I plan on going to. I can’t thank him enough!

Was recommended to come here by numerous people, and was certainly not let down. For a mostly one man operation, Mike was very organized. If he schedules your car to be worked on a specific day, it’s getting done on that day, no false promises and excuses. Constantly communicates with you and keeps you updated the whole time. He’s the only mechanic thats ever taken photos/videos to document an entire job for me to see. Will definitely be back to have him do more work in the future, Highly recommend others to reach out to him if you need any work done on your vehicles.
