I don’t normally criticize a business but this place takes weeks for estimates, lost paperwork. Wouldn’t call back, no storms, in other words not a busy time. Down talked other repair shops saying they are better.

Kamen and the team at GW & Son took wonderful care of our 2016 BMW M3. They coordinated all the various repairs and worked with our insurance company so we didn’t have to worry about it. It will be worth it to take your Tesla to Dallas instead. Took months for our Tesla to be fixed even when we preordered parts. When we did get our car back, it has many issues including post of the repair not done at all and a razor blade scratch on the glass trim inches away from where the repair was. They refused to fix either. Horrible communication as well. Had to call multiple times a week for any update at all

Tesla owners beware. Overall, this is the worst experience I have ever had with a body shop. This company never gave updates unless emailed 3 to 5 times first. This job took 5 months to complete (gave the car in July and got back in December) and when they gave me the car back it had serious defects (visual and safety related). So after waiting so long it's like no one even did a final inspection and thought maybe we shouldn't give tires that have gashes and cuts in them from a crash back to the owner. Every time they updated me, they would just give excuses. One time they said probably the dumbest thing I've ever heard: since I emailed the coordinator of the repairs and the owner together, both people thought that the other would respond and so after 3 emails and 2 weeks, neither ever got back to me. They were both in the email thread and so they could see that neither had responded and somehow expect me to believe that it was because they thought the other would respond. They were horrendous at communication. They were terrible at getting the job done timely. And they charged $23,000 (which insurance did take care of), but you would think with that much money on a repair bill they would be better able to take care of the customer. Please do yourself a favor and go anywhere that isn't GW and Son.

Buyer beware. Since this is the only Tesla body repair center anywhere in the city, I was directed toward this establishment from tesla themselves. I dealt with a Nick, who it took a month to get on the schedule for an estimate. After he looked at my car for 5 minutes, he said he would send me a quote. 2 business days later, I still had not received it. I called and was able to get a quote one more day after this for the sum of around 1100 for a bumper replacement/wire harness. I agreed, to which they said I could come back a month later to get the work done at a specified time. I marked it on the calendar, and waited till the day of the appointment. I then received a call from nick saying it would actually be 2200 dollars and asked if i could pay for the parts in advance, which was again not a part of the original discussion. They can get me in a week later after they order the part. I was annoyed, but reluctantly agreed, but said i would not be paying for any parts until the work is complete as is standard for any other mechanic work I have ever had done. Nick said he would call me when the part arrived, which should be no later than 3 days later. It has now been roughly 10 days from that call, with still no information. I would not recommend this establishment and I will be happily going to Dallas to get the work done from a credible establishment.

I’ve caught this company in multiple lies, they were paid in advance to service our vehicle and sat on it for 2 months with different excuses every time we spoke. Our insurance company is ready to file suit for FRAUD! Go anywhere else!

I wish I could do zero stars. This shop is RIDICULOUS. First red flag was we had booked our appointment to have our repairs done in July 5th, when we called to confirm the appointment on July 3rd they said they never booked it… my husband had to call multiple times to figure out any updates on our car. One time he called and they told us everything was done they were just waiting on State Farm. We called back the following Monday to see when we could pick it up they told us they hadn’t even started the repairs yet.. they had my car over two weeks at this point. Skip to today when the car is picked up. There was a pretty decent scratch on the lower bumper that was supposed to be repaired. They literally just painted over it. They also messed up my key card. Communication with this body shop is the ABSOLUTE worst.. they were also were going to replace my windshield and when we called on a update about that they said “oh we dropped the ball on your claim” I would take your Tesla out of state before you use this shop. I wish we would have. They have been an absolute headache to deal with.

This was the only certified shop in OK to work on a Tesla. I would take my car out of state before I used this business again. We needed a repair for the underneath Rocker Panel for our Model 3. This seemed to be a pretty large repair. We had an estimate done in Oct and had to wait until December before our car got in for the repair. The repair was estimated to take 15-17 days to complete. Once it was in the body shop, we waited over 1.5 months until the completion of the repair. The day we picked up the car, our small child found a vape on the car floorboard. Also, our front windshield was cracked. It looked as if something had fallen on the lower front windshield. The front windshield had no damage when we brought the car in for a repair. The owner of the business is a pretty decent guy. He went through his photos to confirm it was not already damaged when we brought in the car. He paid for and repaired the front windshield, but it took another three weeks to complete. Also, the front passenger seat trim was damaged while in for repair. Tesla service repair took care of that. The main problem with this business is the secretary. She is very rude, dishonest, and very difficult to work with. All of your communication with the vehicle will be done through her. The communication is horrible with her. She will lie to your face and will become agitated and rude if you question anything. She told us our car could not be picked up because it was going to the Tesla Service Center for additional service. We did not understand this and called Tesla which confirmed none of that information was true. She will tell you her boss/owner is gone or at lunch when he is not. I would not use this business again. From ongoing reviews, most people have had the same experience. A change in the help at the front desk or sending her to training would go a very long ways to improving this business and the service. Many things could have been handled so much differently.

Worst auto shop ever. They are very expensive and irresponsible. They can charge you any price they want. We had to use them because they are the only one in OKC that is authorized to do Tesla repairs. That monopoly gives them the worst customer service ever. The next time we would rather drive to Dallas to make our Tesla repairs, without having to go through this horrible experience with them.

I JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM NICK TELLING ME THAT HE CAN GET MY TESLA MODEL S IN FOR REPAIR ON MONDAY! I WAS IN A TIME CRUNCH TO BE MOVING TO ANOTHER STATE AND WANTED TO HAVE G W & SON DO THE REPAIR FROM A FENDER BENDER. I HAD TO CANCEL MY ORIGINAL APPOINTMENT DUE TO AN INSPECTION APPOINTMENT IN THE STATE WHERE WE ARE MOVING. NICK SAID HE WOULD SEE WHAT HE COULD DO AND WOULD CALL ME BACK IN THE AFTERNOON. HE DID CALL ME AND THEY WILL GET MY TESLA IN FOR REPAIR ON MONDAY MORNING. THAT IS WHAT I CALL GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I SO APPRECIATE NICK AND GARY FOR MAKING THIS HAPPEN. THANK YOU GUYS AND I HAVE NO DOUBT YOU WILL GET ANOTHER FIVE STARS WHEN I PICK UP MY TESLA! YOU’RE THE BEST!

I used to be a regular customer of GW&Sons and have used them in the past. Unfortunately, something has drastically changed in their business. They are taking on too much business and cannot manage what they have. Their communication is appalling. They force you to use text and will not answer the phone. Many times, they will not answer texts for months. Additionally, their labor rates are higher than what is being charged in New York and California. Insurance companies will not pay these rates. If you choose to use them, you will be paying additional money out of pocket. I don't necessarily have a problem paying for excellent work and service but that is far from what we received. We took our Mercedes in for significant repairs in February. We received it back partially repaired but at least drivable in July. I know there are supply chain issues but that wasn't it. They couldn't order parts the right way - didn't know what they were getting and worse, didn't communicate any expectations at all. Not once, in 5 months, did they initiate communication with me. I had to reach out for a status continuously and maybe they would respond. Many times, this communication was just a way to put us off because they never hit a commitment. We finally picked up the car in July after having to make demands and get ugly. There was still interior work to be done so we anticipated bringing the car back for final repairs when the parts were in. These parts were not hard to source, and I could have easily purchased them but the message from GW&Sons was that they were on back order with no status. Four more months have gone by with no status from GW&Sons and no communication. GW&Sons also submitted a supplemental claim directly to our insurance company with no notification or discussion with us. They received additional money from our insurance company directly with no explanation and the numbers didn't add up. When you try to go in and see them, they will be mysteriously gone or not available. You can't get them on the phone to discuss anything. Text is your only option. The excuse that I received is that they have over 500 open claims that they are trying to service and that some customers have been waiting well over a year for their car. If I would have known that I would have never given them my vehicle in the first place. I don't think you want to drop your vehicle off into that kind of mess. We had to break our relationship with them and will be using a different shop to finish our repairs. We're collecting whatever parts they have and a very small reimbursement for the work they were paid to do but never did. I paid and lost a lot of money out of pocket because I chose them. It's a shame because at one time I would have said this was the best shop in town for fixing European high-end cars. It really feels like they are heading out of business because they can't manage their business. I can't imagine a customer returning after an experience with them. I would highly recommend you stay away from GW&Sons and seek another body shop for your needs.

If there way a way to leave zero stars I would. This company is a class act of price gouging! Tesla owners beware! I had this company quote me to fix my car one month ago or for $8,700. One month later I go to pull the trigger and the price went from $8,700 to a little under $15,000 for the same amount of work. They couldn’t give me a legit answer as to why it went up almost double other than what they call a software update? This is the only company in the city that is Tesla approved and they make it known. They try to charge you whatever they want and expect you to pay it. I don’t know how this company is still in business, but take your business elsewhere! After speaking to Tesla, there are new body shops that are becoming Tesla certified soon in Oklahoma City. If your car can wait, wait! If it can’t take it somewhere else!

They are the only Tesla Approved Body Shop in OKC for now. Tesla limits what parts can be bought by non certified shops, so you are forced to use GW and Son if you want to stay local. After my experience it would have been better to travel to Tulsa or Dallas. They do not follow the Tesla Body Repair Program Operating Standards which I should have read before disregarding the negative reviews here and using them. FYI some of the 5 star reviews here were written by employees. If you want information about the status of your vehicle be prepared to call, email, call again, then get told they will call you back because they don't know what is going on in the shop. I am taking a risk with this review because they still have my wife's car, for 71 days as of today (not to mention it took 2 months to get it in to the shop). I have been told every week for the last 3 weeks that the car would be ready on Friday, this last Friday I was told it would be ready on Monday or Tuesday, its Wednesday and they told me they had to go see what was going on. I am out over $1,000 for a rental so far, and I haven't even paid my deductible yet. So any cost saving for choosing an EV over an ICE vehicle has been wiped out due to GW and Son's inefficiencies. The original estimate for the repairs was $22K, as of today my insurance has paid them $39K. For hail damage and a sub 5mph impact, if it is not insurance fraud, it is gross incompetence and predatory business practices. Do not use this shop, and if you have had a similar experience to mine I urge you to contact Tesla, the BBB, and maybe even the state AG. Don't make the same mistake I did and think that the negative reviews were overblown, if anything they are understating the problem with this shop. Pic was the low speed impact damage. We'll see how the repair looks....eventually?

After being rear-ended in rush hour traffic in early July this year, my poor Tesla Model 3 was let with damage to the rear valance, bumper, & reflectors. Being that this is my first time to have any damage on my beloved M3, I was extremely worried about ensuring the repairs would restore the car to its previous pristine condition. Well all of those worries were completely alleviated by the GW & Sons team. After the initial assessment and enduring somewhat of a wait for parts (thanks Tesla), the team at GW restored my car to perfect working order and as of this post made a perfect match of the paint on the repaired bumper cover which all Tesla owners know is not the most easy thing to accomplish given Tesla’s paint practices. Also after uncovering additional damage to the rear bumper support bar, the GW team was able to source a replacement with very little lead time and still get everything completed by our agreed repair timeframe of 2 weeks which is nothing short of a miracle. On top of all of this great work, the team was also so accommodating to my requests to see the behind the scenes work on my car and review the additional damage to my rear bumper bar in person before making my final repair decision. I am so very grateful for the team and their work. Thank you to Gary and Rosanna for making this very particular and OCD customer a very happy man! GW is worth the wait to get the job done right the first time!

I believe this may be the only Tesla certified body shop in OKC, so when I brought my model 3 in for an estimate on June 1st I definitely expected to have to wait a while. But I didn’t really expect to wait until September 19 before I could take it in. I understand that my insurance was probably a hassle and ultimately it’s all good, but just be ready for potentially long wait times before you get your car in and ultimately repaired. At the end of the day my car looks great and I’m very happy with the repairs the made to my car. The service was great and everyone was friendly. Was just a bummer that it took around 5 months before I was able to drive my car again. Honestly this is a five star shop, but due to the drastic wait time I put 4 star. Will definitely use them again if I ever run into issues and would recommend any Tesla owner here as they will fix you up right!
