This shop was highly recommended by a local group on Facebook so I took my car in for an estimate on a few things. I was shocked by the price quote for nearly $2000 worth of repairs. I took my car to a big chain auto shop and much to my surprise most of the items Gabe’s said needed to be repaired were not needed. They added several items and said the repairs were necessary and none of them were needed. Very disappointed in this local Shop that I really wanted to support and take my business to but won’t be going here.

Andrew and his crew are the most honest and reputable guys around! This is the best place to take your car, hands down. We’ve been coming here with our cars since they opened, and trust them completely! Great people and honest service! We’re customers for life.

Came in here with no appointment and a nail in my tire that needed rapid repair. The team was courteous and the waiting room was very nice and clean. They did a great job and the price was incredibly reasonable. Will bring all cars here going forward. A clean and honest shop!

I aimed to show my support for local businesses, hence my decision to visit Gabes. Upon arriving in my 2022 Ram 1500, I encountered a rather unpleasant experience with the front desk attendant. His attempt to overcharge me for labor services was quite off-putting. All I desired was to have my truck serviced; however, I have decided not to return due to the poor service and lack of respect shown. As a valued customer who pays generously, I do not require any preferential treatment. There is simply no justification for the difficulties I faced during my visit.

My favorite mechanic in the area by far. I've been to them three times, and as long as I live in the area I'll be a repeat customer because of the excellent service and care they display. My first time taking my vehicle to Gabes, they didn't even charge me after determining I didn't need service. If a business is willing to decline payment based on them believing you don't need their service, that's a business I trust with my wallet.

I've had nothing but great experiences at Gabe's! The people are nice, honest, and thorough. The waiting room is clean and bright. They offer a shuttle service. They warn me about things that will need servicing soon and don't try to convince me to let them perform needless services like the dealerships do. They always have services completed in the time promised. Selfishly, I do wish they were open on weekends, but from an employee standpoint, it's wonderful that they have weekends off. Highly recommend!

We love this place. Only regret is not finding them sooner. They are honest, fast, stand by their work, and their prices are very fair. Especially appreciate that they don't mind explaining things to those of us who aren't car experts. Highly recommend!

I was taking my vehicle to another place in Lake Ridge and felt like their service and ability to repair my vehicle had gone downhill. I found Gabe's and took my car in to make sure it was okay after the experience I had at the previous shop. Gabe's was great! They fixed the issues I was experiencing with my vehicle that the other shop couldn't fix. Gabe's sends a quote with pictures and calls to go over what they found. I would highly recommend Gabe's, they have earned my business.

This review is long overdue. They are awesome. They are the only automotive shop I feel safe with and trust my car with. I even bought my moms car to them and they totally fixed all the issues with it with high quality and it was a better price then what they would of charged my mom at the dealership she got her car from. As long as they are open I will only bring my car to them and no one else. I really wish I would have found them Sooner. Thanks guys! And they have a shuttle service so they take you home if you need to leave your car with them.

Very honest group of folks. They are trustworthy and are communicative when there are items that need to be addressed. For easy items such as cabin air filter replacement, they’ve charged only for the part, not the labor itself. I take all of my cars here.

I heard about Gabe's from my neighbors, and I'm so glad I acted on the recommendation. Customer service was outstanding, technician was patient and took the time to explain everything to me. Price was better than other shops. I have found my local auto shop!

I am soooo IMPRESSED! This shop has gone above and beyond to put me back on the road in the quickest time frame possible. My family was all packed up to go out of town with the car packed to the brim + a cat. Our car broke down on the way out (right before we left town). Not only have the personnel at Gabe’s been incredibly welcoming, they have also been extremely helpful in explaining what was wrong and how things work and what needs to be fixed. And they were HONEST! Not only that, but they displayed a great deal of respect, concern and care throughout the entire ordeal. They are top notch professionals not only as incredible mechanics, but it shows in how they treat their customers as well. I honestly couldn’t be more thankful! So glad I have found you guys and will be happy to give you my business from now on. I’ve read a little bit of the story of this auto shop and without a shadow of a doubt I would say that Gabe is well honored by the quality work and customer service that you provide! Thank you. 🙏
