I just found my new mechanic! I was told by a couple friends to go Garcia’s. Armed with their recommendation, I went in this morning and talked to Miguel. Super friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to get my car in, fix it and have it back to me in a few hours. Reasonable prices and quality workmanship! Appreciate you getting me back on the road today! See ya again soon!

Those guys are incredible. I own 2 cars and bring it here every problem i have and they are HONEST, good price and did i say HONEST? Seriously incredible folks doing honest work. I will bring any car i own here without hesitation.

Honestly, never been to a mechanic shop I want to pass by and say hello to during the middle of the week: My Honda works perfectly fine right now too! So instead just thinking of what a great institution we are lucky to have in our neighborhood that we can send our friends & family to visit if they need a hand. Miguel & his team are knowledgeable, kind, transparent, & care for the people in the community. By nature, you dont enjoy going to a mechanic shop, but at Garcia”s Auto Parts, Tire, & Service YOU DO. But even if you have to invest in your vehicle for care, they do the best to make sure you feel confident & ensure they will be doing the best work to care for you & your vehicle. Appreciate the work they do & will always return.

This shop got me in on a Friday afternoon to quickly patch a small nail hole in my Audi tire for $25. Shop seems clean and professional. Glad I found them and that they were nearby.

Wonderful place, fair prices and they’re always thorough and happy to answer any questions. Huge help as always! Recently got some strut/shock work done and they had everything done in a timely manner with recommendations etc.

Didn't use their services but they were nice guys and answered the phones promptly though they could've been a bit more clear that they didn't have tires in stock. This was my first and only time going to shop in Chicago for the few years I lived there so I really just randomly picked based on reviews. Would recommend.

Garcia’s is always genuinely helpful & I always feel confident that the work that’s done on my car (big or small) is something that NEEDED to be done vs. going to the dealership & feeling robbed after a simple oil change. The fact that Miguel gave me solid advice today about my car AND as I was leaving, acknowledged the 5 star rating (I definitely forgotten that I gave a few days ago🤣) is the kind of customer service I didn’t know I needed! Thank you guys, Sincerely.

Great place! I was able to get in same day for an oil change plus maintenance check. They called within 30min to share their recommendations, I ended up getting a filter and wipers replaced too. Super fast, friendly, and fairly priced. Definitely my new go-to car spot.

Tray/shield under my car came loose and needed to be reattached or removed because it was scraping on the ground. The friendly staff were able to squeeze me into the schedule that day and got the job done for a super reasonable price. If I lived in the city, I’d absolutely trust them to take care of my car maintenance and repairs. My daughter uses them - she recommended and uses them. Thanks!

I had brought my car to them multiple times for checkups, and every time they told me everything was fine. When I finally brought it to them for an issue, they took care of it promptly, with quality work, at a fair price. Will return to this neighborhood spot!

This shop is excellent. Fair prices and they are always transparent and upfront about cost/repairs. I know nothing about cars and I have never felt taken advantage of here. I’d recommend them to anyone in the area, I’d even drive out of the way to get my car serviced by them.

The service was prompt and accommodated my car at 8 AM. I received multiple updates throughout the day; they were transparent in terms of what needs to be done vs what can be deferred Additionally, the price was 30-40% cheaper than local competitors. Great fixture in the local Humboldt Park community, and highly recommend their services.

I didn't actually have work done here - got it towed here and they fit me in to diagnose it very quickly on a Monday morning. Since the part that broke was under warranty with my regular mechanic, I went back to them for the work, but the folks at Garcia's were very pleasant to work with and accommodating, and I would consider taking my vehicle there in the future.

My husband is my mechanic but recently disabled. I came here because of all the other wonderful reviews. I also follow them in Insta. Just seemed like an honest place to go. I have a really old car with 18200 miles. Needless to say, it's got issues. I dropped it off early for an estimate and they called me back after a few hours with a very detailed estimate. The mechanic was very thorough and respectful and explained my options. In the end, repairs would be too costly and I decided not to have any work done. No one was pushy or made feel anything but thankful for their honesty. They charged me for their estimate and time, which could be used towards repairs if I decided to within 30 days. I showed the estimate to my husband and he said it was accurate, so that made me feel even better. I would recommend to anyone looking for honest work on their vehicle.
