Great staff is always honest and gets the job done right. Their diesel mechanic Nick is the best in the Tulsa area. He will absolutely be the only one we bring our diesel to.

I took my 2015 Ford Transit Diesel into the shop due to DPF issues. After 3 days and a $2,200 bill, the problem was not resolved. I took it to a Ford dealer, and the mechanic provided a written statement that several of the services I was billed for could not have actually been performed with the error codes still present. I emailed the shop asking for a response to the information from the dealer, but they never replied. The next step is a certified letter. My advice to all is to get another opinion.

They do the best auto work in town! They treat you and your “baby” well, always giving superior care and services. The staff are kind and treat you like family! I don’t go anywhere else for my auto care!

I have a 2014 GMC Acadia. I found this repair shop on the internet and decided to give them a chance. When I first call them they did not have room for me to check my car out. The person that I believe was the owner said that he can fit me in this afternoon. I was extremely impress with the professionalism and the courtesy.

I’m traveling for work and from another state. They took me right in, provided a comfortable place to wait stocked with water and snacks. They fixed me up right and were VERY fair on the rate. This is a good shop.

Radiator replacement on Chevy 2500. They were extremely fast in replacing radiator & did a great job. I always read reviews & anything negative was addressed by owner in a very professional manner. Reading between the lines on negative reviews, you can usually spot something that doesn't sound right & mostly something fishy on the customer's part. Highly recommend!

Couldn't be more impressed with Chris and the guys at Gary Johnston Truck. Took my truck to 3 different shops here locally and GJT was the first to diagnose it correctly and fix the issue. I had a small issue we found out about after leaving and the shop and they warrantied everything they had worked on previously. Highly recommended and will use them for any of my vehicle issues going forward. A+

I highly recommend Gary Johnston Truck and Auto Repair. My Nissan was towed to them by AAA with my approval. I was not familiar with them. They earned my full vote of approval. My car was difficult to diagnose. They did not give up..even after I was ready to. Parts were hard to find..they found them. They went out of their way on several accounts. Chris and the mechanics were very understanding that I really needed to get that Nissan back on the road. They made it happen. I am very grateful for their kindness, talent, and professionalism.

This is absolutely the best mechanic shop in Tulsa and the surrounding areas. They replaced my rotors and brakes. A little higher priced than a few others but I feel safer in my vehicle knowing the mechanics guarantee their work. They work on every vehicle like it will be driven by their family member. Will definitely take my vehicle here for service!

I've been told there are 3 things in life that are important to find: a good barber, plumber, and mechanic. If you are still looking for a mechanic, these guys are great! They don't B.S. you and give you honest estimates. I drive a '99 Camry. When I brought it in, they didn't have loaner cars but were willing to give me a ride to where I rented a vehicle nearby. They explained what was going on with my car, explained what needed to be fixed, and gave me a direct quote and time frame for repair (not beating around the bush). Solid repair work. A few month later, took it back because I was hearing something that didn't sound right. Instead of driving it further till it got worse I took it to them. I dropped it off in the morning and called them later that afternoon, they noticed something minor that ended up being the problem (a few loose bolts). Didn't need any repair work but said I'd only need to pay for time (which wasn't much). They did notice something else was happening but instead of trying to sell needing to repair it ASAP, they were honest about it not being a pressing issue. So when I came to pick it up, they were willing to waive charging me because they appreciated me as a customer (I did not try to haggle, important to note). You cannot put a price on a business that is willing to take care of you and you're willing to pay for quality work. They are my mechanics for however long I live in Tulsa. Great customer service and great mechanic work. They've earned my business.
