They did a fantastic job!! Ike was very communicative and worked with me to find a fix I could afford. My bumper was completely detached, and now it looks brand new! They even did a rush job because I need my car almost every day of the week. I strongly recommend gateway!

Amazing service. Ike and his team were super helpful to work with throughout the entire experience. Would highly recommend anybody to come here for any body/repair work. They also buffed the scratches out of my passenger side door free of charge for me as well. Overall great experience.

Great service - very responsive and was able to get the car in right away. Worked with us on our budget to make sure we were taken care of and able to drive safely but at the most reasonable price possible! Will be coming back and would recommend to others. Love supporting a local business as the cherry on top of a good experience.

First off, it can be really difficult in LA to find a quality body shop that you can trust. SO grateful to have found that in Gateway Auto Service and Body Shop!! While parked, I was hit by another car in my driver side panel above the wheel. Dropped my car off this past Tuesday and only two days later my car is fixed and looks like new again. Ike was kind enough too to drive me to and from the Hertz rental car spot so that I could avoid having to take a Lyft. I can tell that this body shop takes pride in their work. Hoping to never have to bring my car to a body shop again, but if I do I'm definitely bringing it here. Thanks so much Ike

Updating my review now that I’m not being held hostage for a 5 star review by Ike. TLDR: Ike is a shady guy that will tack on unspoken fees after servicing your car. Do not recommend coming here. I should’ve looked further into the recent 1 star reviews from this place but I was desperate to have my window fixed ASAP after my car was broken into. I called on a Saturday afternoon to ask for a quote on fixing my Lexus’ window. Ike gave me a quote of $850, while Lexus dealership gave $1100; both included manual labor. Nice. So I placed a down payment of $500 for my window part and was finally able to receive a reply on Monday after several calls with Ike to come in on Tuesday for service (annoying, but whatever). When I came in on Tuesday, Ike took one glance and told me the service would be pricier due to the damage in my interior, which was fair since I had glass shards everywhere in my car interior. I estimated about $600 for the cleaning fee to be added on to the original $850 quote, which is a very generous amount. But when I came to pick up my car later in the evening, Ike proceeded to tell me the final cost would be $1895. That’s a grand tacked on to the original quote. Now, before you come at me and ask why I didn’t negotiate for a better price: I was on my way to work my night shift, which I was upfront about with Ike the entire time and he proceeded to act dumb about it when he asked for payment. I paid the rest of the total cost and was ready to have my car key handed back and be done with the situation, but Ike kept hounding me for a 5 star review before giving me my car key. So I went ahead and wrote a quick review on both yelp and google, sent a screenshot to Ike to confirm I made a review, and was made to edit to his liking. Only after was he satisfied could I get my key and head to work. I was relieved and thought I was finally done with this whole con, but then I arrived at work and noticed that I still had glass shards in my car after Ike had boasted that he gave me a “mini detailing” free of charge. Overall, bad and shady service. Also, forgot to mention, he tried to call me throughout the day (when I told him I had work that night, therefore I was sleeping) to add on a service for a fee to “turn off my lights on the dashboard.” It was for tire pressure. He wanted to add air to my tires for a fee. No thank you. Boy bye.

My car broke down after hours on Friday, but Ike picked up my call and followed up with me until my car was towed to his shop. His communication and quick diagnosis the following day relieved a lot of stress. I’d recommend his shop to anyone in a pinch.

Worked directly with Ike. He is a good communicator and honored his price estimate (which was very competitive). Never fun to have a broken down car, but Ike made it a lot less painful. Also, he used top quality replacement parts. Overall, a very positive experience.

Ike and his team are the best! My seat got stuck and wouldn’t move forward/back. They were efficient, reliable and quick with ordering the new part and getting it done. Super nice people too! 10/10 - will only go here now.

Ike is seriously the best. Professional and hard working. Quick turn around on repairs, not taking forever like some shops. All the guys in the shop are really stand up dudes. No BS, tell you exactly what’s going on and work exceptionally hard to get you your vehicle back ASAP. Thanks to the team they really helped me out with serious car problems.

Ike is the best in the game! They fixed my car in a reasonable amount of time and actually took the time to answer my questions. They were always in contact with me, which was also helpful when you have a busy life. The outcome of the car is always amazing! I’ve taken two different cars here before and they’ve always done a great job on them!

My Ram Promaster van overheated on the 405 and I was able to make it to this service station, THANK GOD!! They were so helpful, they immediately attended to my concerns, ran a diagnostic on the issue and were able to help me out, find the right replacement parts (the van had been modified so this took some extra detective work, and the mechanic had to run out and buy the correct part, which he did, on the spot!) they accepted payment through various methods, including apple pay and zelle, which was very helpful in this unexpected situation. They took such great care of me and my van, including some extra tasks they threw in for free (like putting my license plates on properly, which the dealer had not done!) I highly recommend the service at Gateway Auto and would def come here again for any future repairs!

This guy is a very bad mechanic and he literally had my car for two months for no reason. What was Ike’s excuse? Ike told me that insurance is not answering him! Any way, long story short, don’t try this Autoshop ever

This is my first time going to an auto shop without my father and Ike was really nice to me about it he was very willing to help and offer me a good price considering this was my first time. He was also really fast and willing to accommodate me as soon as I arrived. I def recommend returning.
