I simply had a wonderful experience. I came in needing a few things done to my car and they were very honest, up front and explanatory about my car concerns, solutions for each, and pricing for the labor and parts. They did everything in just a few hours plus they didn't even charge me for putting air in my tires or replacing my missing tire caps. Also, everyone I interacted with was very nice. Thank you Gateway Tire & Service Center!

I came in with an issue with my car. Yes, I had the engine light checked by auto zone & requested a copy of the diagnostic. Auto zone supplied it. I brought it to gateway and they did a diagnostic on it. I asked Jason could I get a copy or printout of the result and to verify that it registered to my car & that it matched Auto zone results. Jason explained to me that they he couldn’t give out a copy of my diagnostic because the reading comes off a computer. What impressed me was that he offered for me to go out to see the result off the computer. He asked the mechanic to plug the computer back to my car & let it register again so I can get a copy of my diagnostic with a photo. I am a person that when I spend high dollars, I like to feel comfortable. Jason(manager) is an excellent, understanding, and supportive in making customers feel comfortable on spending high dollars. I brought my Ford Explorer to this location for an oil change, realignment, and tire rotation and balance. Later that evening when driving on the highway and heard something metal hit this the road under my vehicle. After parking I discovered that the bottom engine cover of my vehicle had detached and was holding on by one screw. I would have reattached it myself, but two of the attachment points snapped off when it came off. I will not be going back to this location.

I posted a review here a few weeks ago that was incorrect, so issuing a full correction here! I only needed one tire replaced, so initially I tried a discount tire shop that my cousin recommended me. They sold me a faulty tire, and I ended up at Gateway two days later. They took care of me right away. No issues, no games, no trying to sell me extra stuff or upcharge me because I'm a woman. I've used Gateway on and off for several years for tires, and their service is always exceptional. I would highly recommend.

Nick, Larry, and Abook were amazing. I got 4 new tires and a balance and car runs smooth now. They also speak my language so I find it pretty cool. Bteezak

They have taken care of my vehicle several times. I used them the first time for the convenience of being by my work. I return because they take care of my vehicle. They keep me notified of the status and get the work done in a timely manner. They are decently priced. I got an oil change for less than $80

Brought my Nissan Rogue in for a standard oil change/tire rotation as well as topping off my fluids. Asked the guy at the counter when I dropped it off if they could secure my right tire fender (Service King on Covington Pike did not secure this when I had my vehicle there for repairs from a minor accident) and he assured me they would. I have paid for my car and this is the second service place to neglect my request to secure this to my vehicle. I am not sure why I was blantly ignored but I’m writing this review as it would appear people working here aren’t listening to all requests they are being given. Thanks.

Update: Management called and made this right with refund. Still, just ask questions when you go in. According to the manager I spoke with today, it is standard practice for employees to take your vehicle and run a check on it without informing you how much you will be charged. Even if the service you are wanting is declined, there may still be a charge which wasn't verbally spoken up front. I was also told that I could contact the district manager but the district manager would say the same thing, that verbal communication doesn't have to be given because of the signs that are posted in the store that the customer is supposed to read and therefore know what they will be charged even if the service cannot be performed. It is my personal opinion that as a business it is not a good practice to just assume that the customer can read every sign in your store rather than whoever you are dealing with having a conversation with you to say "yes we can look at this but this but it will cost you this amount and we may or may not be able to perform the service but you will be charged X amount either way." Just be aware.

If it had not been for the first employee encountered when visited, would not have gone back after the second trip due to the next employee being less than nice, friendly and caring. Acted as if he was being bothered. Once repaired, After 5 minutes had to drive car back. Mechanic was gracious to meet me at the door and quickly fix his error.

It's sad to be a first come first service I really need an oil change between work and school I can't drop off no car early and when I do come ...we not taking anymore oil change until Monday...How about appointments that would really help ...I'm over 4mos behind of an oil change ...The prices are reasonable I know some of you saying why not go somewhere else I like sticking to where I go and again prices are reasonable there

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! They open at 7:30am I arrive at 7:35am to only have a screw removed from my tire (repair) I’m told it will be a few hours! Ok fine! Sooo 3 hours later!!! It turned into wasting 3 HOURS OF MY TIME!!!!!! They never touched/moved my car!!!! GATEWAY TIRE YOU NEED SOME IMPROVEMENT ASAP!!!!

I am disappointed. The wait was really long which I'm fine with, but they told me I had a problem with my TPS system-which I didn't have when I brought the car to them- It's a fairly new car with less than 20k miles. So just say you don't know how to reset the system, don't say I have a problem with it, because I didn't come in with one. Now I have to go to the dealership because you created a new problem.

I'm new to memphis coming from California I needed to fix a tire that had a screw in it . Jason and his crew welcomed me and fixed my tire . Super friendly and fast . This is my new tire and oil change spot!!

Great service and helpful input with the questions I had. They are, as alot of employers, short on help. So be patient with them. I watched them gracefully and helpfully answer questions, and fill up people's low tires. Will be back.
