I had to buy two new tires for my classic vehicle online because they just aren’t available. I called them for a quote but when I checked out after the tires were installed, they bumped up the quote by $20. Not happy at all they should honor their quote.

Really surprised, needed my tires balanced - they did all 4 for $60 — great service and honesty, skillful mechanics, they were able to spot things I should look at and advise to keep an eye on / but didn’t try to upsell me to fix them / just called my attention to and advised what to do to avoid issues. Great shop.

I asked if they could fix my tire. They looked at it and said no because it was 'in the side' ( it was close to the edge but not in the unrepairable part). They said I would need a new tire. I said okay, but then he tried to say because it was all wheel drive I would have to replace all four tires. I was like no thanks. I ended up just driving on the spare twenty miles to go to les Schwab the next day. They fixed it for free. In summary, this place employs people trying to trick people who don't know about cars into paying for tires they don't need.

If you’re looking to have a 30 minute tire repair take 2.5 hours. This is the shop for you. I made an appointment and came in for it, only to wait for 2.5 hours with no one around at the desk to ask any questions. Then a mechanic came out and I asked him about my truck only for him to say it was done hours ago, yet the owner left so no one knew who it was for. Unbelievably unprofessional, will not be returning here. *Edit: this is not the wrong shop, the response from the owner is a lie and he remembers me im sure. I waited hours for a simple tire puncture and paid 45$ for it

Worst experience ever. The owner or the Manager seemed annoyed that I was on site. I came around 5:30PM and they close at 7PM and asked if they had a specific tire available for my car. The gentleman that helped me was very polite and willing, but when he asked his “Boss man” about tire availability and service openings, he seemed to be very annoyed and not respectful toward me or his employee. On top of this, he was taking a phone call and didn’t acknowledge my presence . I’ve never felt more un-welcomed by a shop owner in my life. I also don’t write reviews at all but I was really upset with their hospitality and service. I will never come back to this shop and I WON’T recommend this shop to anyone! I’ve had a better experience with Tire Depot in Hillsboro OR! They deserve 5 stars!

This business is more than a Tire Repair shop. They have also helped us with oil changes and ignition coils! The owner is polite and professional and they seem to always get us in and out the same day! We appreciate their work and great prices. :)

Had a low tire pressure sensor, filled it up and brought my car in to patch the hole in my tire. They told me that they couldn't find a hole in it and the tire was fine. The next day when I get in there's a low tire pressure sensor light again and I could literally hear the air escaping from my tire. So now I still have a hole.in my tire that needs patching but instead of having it taken care of already I have to wast my time to go to a tire shop again because there's clearly a hole in it. I'll be going to a different shop this time.

Expensive but he get the job done he not only have this shop he have another shop where he could do a lot of mechanic things to your car and he's very good sometimes it's a long wait but I really appreciate him

I have been going to Paul and the crew for years. They are fast, fair, honest, hardworking, completely transparent, and affordable. I have had a series of Volvos with more than their fair share of problems and have had Everything successfully maintained and fixed here. Solid!

Absolutely Amazing! We were en route on the Hood to Coast relay race and got a nail in our tire. John patched the tires in 6 minutes!!! And had us on our way & back to our next race stop. We are SO Grateful!!! Excellent!

Paid Gateway a visit for the second time since moving from Wisconsin 3 months ago. I've had bad luck driving over screws. Both times they've fixed my tire up quickly and with kindness. When I get new tires in about a month, I'll be purchasing them here. They're honest and straight to the point but don't push a sale on you. I can't recommend them enough!

Poor service I would not bring your car here,if you do this was my experience my airbag light was on he was confuse next thing I leave now my radio would ot come on paul claim he had no time to fix.paul is the worst mechanic I've ever met. Paul repair my brakes which squeaks I explain to paul about my front brakes he ignore me not a good place if you want your car fix.

Found this place in 2014, totally great and honest guy! I have sent a couple coworkers here, they all said the same thing- great guy and trustworthy! Paul is honest and I would not hesitate to come here!

We got a flat tire on our way out of Portland, heading home to Boise. It was later in the evening, but luckily, Gateway was still open. They got me in for a tire change right before closing. Everyone at the shop was courteous and helpful, the tire was changed very quickly, the price was great, and I'm pretty sure they popped my dented rear fender back into place! I didn't noticed the fender until a couple of days later, and I don't know who else would've done that. So, that was a welcome bonus for sure. Highly recommended!
