Stopped in on my way to work for an oil change. I had no appointment they still got me in right way. Dustin and Cody were very nice. The tech and crew seemed very happy. I will only use Gemba from now on!

The new ownership on Broadway seems to be doing some good! The guys are nice and don’t seem to be taking advantage of the fact that I am female. I went in for an oil change and they gave me a detailed description of a few other things that could use fixing. Never once did I feel pressured to do anything more than my oil change even though I did have a few things that needed attention. I’ll definitely be back and feel confident in doing so.

Would not recommend this place, and would avoid unless it’s an emergency. Spent a few weeks going back and forth about a part that they stressed needed to be replaced. After having to keep pushing for any type of follow up I decided to go another shop who got it done for a great price and warranty.

Tuffy tire gave me a free and comprehensive vehicle inspection. They walked me through everything and took me under the truck so I could see the problems for myself. They were quick, knowledgeable and professional. Best inspection I’ve had in Phoenix (better than the Toyota dealership).

Free AC check was useless and seemed like a hustle to get people in and push $269 AC EVAC and recharge. When asked what they actually check both receptionist and mechanic were vague, but from what I could gather from them they did a "visual inspection " and checked the fuse.

I like to get a mega phone n announce to the world how trust worthy n honest this shop is!! Starting with Mike, I came to him with my toyota prius which I was told at Gunnell's tire n serv center that I needed master booster on my brakes...as a single woman mechanics are not people I like to deal with because I always feel I'll b taken advantage of. With that been said I came to Mike n explained to him what I was told, after about an hour he tells me that my breaks were fine n that I did not need anything done on my brakes😲I was shocked I couldn't believe it!! I was so worried that I would have to pay an excerbant amount of money for no reason unnecessarily so!! Mike reassured me n put me at ease n further more he proceeded to have his mechanic check for anything tht needs attention. N he didn't charge me a cent! I was soo grateful I had to give him a hug I will most definitely come back to Tuffy moving forward for any repairs. I been telling all my friends, in a world were everyone is out to get u its so refreshing to deal with someone so honest n trust worthy Thank you thank you Mike!!!

For me, as a woman, it is hard to find an auto shop and trust that they are not going to take advantage of my lack of mechanical knowledge. I don't have to worry about that at Tuffy's. The service is personable, prompt, and professional Thank you, Mike, Cody, and all y'all techs!

These guys are fantastic. Mike is my car guy and he always hooks me up with excellent service. He does not throw parts at cars or upcharge the customer. He has saved me lots of money and is one of the very good ones. Highly recommend this shop.

We've taken our Jeep Wrangler and Toyota minivan to Tuffy's and not only is the customer service great I love that they call immediately to update us and then send us the info so that we can simply click through the things we want them to fix!! Great experience and we'll continue to go here!!

Came here for a diagnosis on my dodge ram 3500 because it was cutting off while I was driving it. They told me I needed a new dpf, fuel pump and crankshaft sensor. After spending 3k replacing all that I was still having the same issue. It was cutting off while driving it. Took it to my mechanic in Tucson and he was able to figure out that all it needed was an alternator. Charged me $400 total. These guys definitely steered me in the wrong direction and charged me $160 for an incorrect diagnosis. I came here because they had good reviews but definitely not my experience.

As a woman and someone who spends a lot of time on the road (so I've had plenty of oil changes at various shops)... I want to recognize Mike and Cody the absolute best experience in a car shop I have ever had to date! They take time to explain, and the report they provide included pictures of what was observed in the inspection in addition to estimates for repairs. The level of honesty and transparency is TOP NOTCH. Prices are totally reasonable. I can't imagine taking my car anywhere else from this point forward. Thank you, guys!

I usually reserve my Google Reviews for exceptionally good service and treatment. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM!! I took my Chevy Tahoe in for a check engine light. I had already been to AutoZone and had a diagnostic check ( for free) that showed a code for the vehicle running lean. I was told that they have to do their own diagnostic but I would get a" multi- point" inspection. For that it was going to cost me $199. Dollars. I gave in and agreed to it. They gave me a ride home to wait for the evaluation. When they emailed me the list of issues the evaluation was incomplete and inaccurate. ( Power windows marked as OK when two of them didn't work. Windshield wiper fluid OK. The reservoir has a large crack in it.) What they did" inspect" were the major components. The " Money Makers". I was told that I needed front brakes, a fuel pump, new spark plugs and all four of the shock absorbers were blown. I was given an estimate of$2500 and I reluctantly agreed. I would have figured that for a $199 inspection the estimate would have been accurate. To call me the next morning and tell me that the $375 orginal estimate for JUST the rear shock absorbers was now going to cost me $1375 instead. A DIFFERENCE OF$1000 DOLLARS!! It's amazing how pleasant and nice someone can be when they are figuring out how to rob you. The mechanic( John), boasted of being with GM for 16 years. He told me that the shocks were special electronically controlled shocks for an"Autoride" system and they cost $625 EACH! Now in this day and age of computers and easily available information you don't think that I wouldn't check?!?! By the way, John, when I asked you for the parts number for the shock, your answer was " uh- yeah. They're factory stock. Real expensive and hard to find". Don't think that I didn't notice that you evaded my question but you also avoided making eye contact and THAT reeks of being a LIAR. I had my rear shock absorbers replaced at a more reputable establishment for$450. THESE ARE NOT ELECTRONIC ANYTHING SHOCKS!!! THEY ARE REGULAR SHOCKS. THEY ARE NOT $625 EACH!! THEY WERE $ 100 DOLLARS A PIECE. TUFFYS AUTO should be called FLUFFYS AUTO for what you tried to pull. And your 16 years at GM wasn't General Motors but more likely shoveling CORN FLAKES at GENERAL MILLS. DON'T COUNT ON MY BUSINESS IN THE FUTURE. One final note. The cost of the other repairs came in at the extreme high end of parts and labor costs. Something one would expect to pay at a dealership. NOT A 3 BAY SHACK NEXT TO A RUN DOWN CONVENIENCE STORE IN AN ECONOMICALLY DEPRESSED PART OF THE CITY. Keep doing what you're doing and you won't last long where you're at. Update to Tuffy' s response: Dear Mike, Are you the same Mike that doesn't know how to use the mute button on the phone when I called to ask questions about the truck and I can hear you whispering " John, hey John". And then coming back on the phone with " Uh- we're going to call you back in a while, John's busy". That Mike? Yeah. I certainly trust you. $119 or$199 doesn't really matter if it was incomplete and inaccurate.( I've got a screenshot of the " inspection). As to the shocks. OEM or not, I was told that they were electronically assisted shocks for an Autoride package which my truck does not have. No wires or plugs to anything involving the shocks or struts. Nothing. One final note. As I was leaving the shop it was very reassuring for John to tell me that I could" Go for a long time on blown shocks before needing to replace them". I'll remember that when they give out and the vehicle rolls and kills me and a family of 5 on their way to church. You should be ashamed of yourselves. SERIOUSLY!!!

I was impressed with the honesty and level of customer service, though we have not had any work done! Our vehicle was inspected and test driven. Work on shocks and struts was initially recommended (and approved by me) but I was subsequently called back and told that problems with the subframe bushings were found. The firm ordered the bushings and I was given a new price estimate. I have not opted to have the repairs done, but the company said the would keep the bushings if I did want to proceed with the repairs. There was no pressure to have work done, and the staff were friendly and informative. Update: I had the work done. The car runs like new and the price seemed fair. Two thumbs up.

Updated 8/28: got a call from the owner and he promised to make it right and they did. Alignment was resolved and they revised their policy on shop supplies and hazmat charges for alignments. 8/15: Didn't do good job with alignment. Unable to provide results. Charged for shop supplies and hazmat?!

We went there for a full inspection and had an exceptional experience. The mechanics surely knew what they were doing. They were honest with the price too. We went to another shop before them and were quoted way above the prices they gave us. We decided that this would be our go-to auto shop from now on.

impeccable service!! as a woman, one could get intimidated by going to an auto repair shop but they made me feel comfortable, answered any questions I had, help me get my car running smoothly again. They checked my car last minute without any qualms. Honest, friendly people love them. I’m coming back whenever I need any car servicing!!
