Took my car for a smog check about 3 months ago and some diagnostic issues. The owner took it upon himself to “quote un quote “ fix my immediate problems without notifying me. Overcharged for everything and did almost nothing . This is a dishonest business and the people there including a young man there have terrible customer service. Do not take your car there . They charged me more than a 1000 dollars. I paid because I didn’t want any issues , but I have a civil responsibility to let the public know about this business. Thank you.

PLEASE.. do yourself a favor and never EVER go to this shop.. I went there with an emergency and I was not only treated and ridiculed by the "manager" HIS cavalier way of speaking with customers which I was... Who spent 8k+ was absolutely RIDICULOUS.. I WILL NEVER EVER GO HERE OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.. My whole experience was worse than what I was faced with in the beginning... RUN.. AND NEVER LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE.. "humming/ oil fingerprints/ HORRIBLE service.. was the least to worry about... WORST EVER

Muy mala experiencia no se enfocaron en lo absoluto en el problema de el carro solo metio partes que ni al caso me endeude y después me salió peor por que era la los empaques de la cabeza de motor y según ahí no tenía absolutamente nada el carro 😒

The owner of myself has no integrity, I called before I came letting him know I was coming from Poway, he said he would get me it was 3:50 p.m. when I got there. He says oh no we can't do it, we close at 6:00. It apparently takes 2 hours to do a four-wheel alignment. So after wasting 45 minutes of driving in about $20 in gas, I'm told they can't and won't work today, I would have to leave it overnight 😂 $120/hr is their rate. They were going to charge me $120 to change a belt that takes 5-8minutes. You can get way better deals off of University from more reputable shops that actually have integrity and will fulfill their word, and not price rape you. Crazy with this being as close to the border as it is, I expected the lack of integrity but I did not expect the overpriced rates 😂 place is trash, I'm going to fill out a 1099 oid to make sure the IRS investigates this Place full audit UCC audit and everything.... Should always keep your integrity you never know who practices law 😂😂😂

Terrible service, they charge for absolutely everything. I took my car, they diagnosed and, apparently, fixed it, and in the end the car remained the same and they charged me almost 1000 dollars. It's better to take your car somewhere else.

This afternoon I took the Acadia in for a tire patch and a faulty air system. General did an inspection and discovered that I also needed spark plugs, a timing belt, struts, a new blower, air filter, and oil change... Oh and the hydrolic hood supporter. They knew that I was only in town for the day and gave my car full attention. Just 5 hours later "everything" was done. I am very happy with the results and above par service.

Great service, clean environment and staff always professional. Guys do great work, extremely informational and provide you with a heads up on other things needed. I even sent my daughter there with her car and she was extremely satisfied. Thank ton again guys.

General Auto Repair was extremely professional, efficient , in-expensive and fast. Went in for an oil change where another “mechanic shop” broke my dip stick and refused to fix it. Took my car to General Auto Repair and they took care of the problem quickly and with an excellent attention to the client. Very honest people. My car was vibrating and making a loud humming noise. I took it to General Auto Repair and asked for diagnostics. After the diagnostics Mr. Ismael patiently explained every detail before giving me a quote. As he had predicted the noise went away, no more vibrations and the drive feels a lot more smoother. My experience with General Auto Repair was great, I can open heartedly recommend it to everyone.
