What differentiates George and Bob's from other Irondequoit auto shops is their excellent customer service and attitude. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and efficient. You never feel like you're an imposition nor will they speak gruffly to you. They've given me same day service on several occasions. They can also perform factory maintenance. They don't try to oversell, just give the options and let you decide. We're fortunate to have an outstanding repair shop like this in Irondequoit!

I feel confident bringing my vehicle here and would recommend George and Bobs to anyone and everyone. Every time I have taken my car for repair they have been clear with their communication, upfront with the costs, and more importantly I've left every time with the problem fixed. I have mechanic friends and even family but I still trust this place more simply because of their proven work ethic and HONESTY. If you are looking for reliable honest people, this is the place to take your car.

It's hard to find a mechanic that you know is honest. I'm sure most are, but we all know there are bad actors out there, who will absolutely charge you hundreds for a ten dollar fix. George and Bob's is that honest, neighborhood mechanic. I'm from the town they're in, and they've been doing business in that spot for decades. You don't stay in business that long if you cheat people. They're solid. Go in and talk to the person at the second desk inside about your car issue, and they'll tell you what they can do, and set up an appointment. They're really nice and do not make non-car people feel stupid. I like that, too. I'm glad I use George & Bob's now. I wish I had taken my cars here sooner. It was right under my nose, and it took me until my 40s to become a customer. Don't make the same mistake I did!

A most excellent experience all around. I had an inspection done and got honest feedback from Mike about what absolutely NEEDED to be fixed, and what probably SHOULD be fixed, without twisting my arm. The young woman at the counter in the early morning was also a delight, even at the early 7am hour I was there for pickup and drop-off. I’d give it another bonus star if I could ⭐️

I was looking in the Rochester area for some help with car trouble and this place seemed to have better reviews. It is for a good reason! Super helpful and honest work, and they made it very affordable. You can tell they care! Will go back for any future needs.

The "car guys" at George and Bob's are ethical, incredibly knowledgeable, and have a great sense of humor. I never have to worry about being taken advantage of. If it needs done, they tell you. If it doesn't, they tell you. So glad I found them!

I always have a positive experience when I bring my car to George and Bob’s for service or for my annual inspection. Everyone there is courteous and gives you a feeling of neighborhood and community. Best of all, I trust them! They are honest and explain everything in laymen’s language. Most of my friends go there, and all my family trusts their cars to them.

I needed gas so I stopped here but I also needed air in one tire, I went in and asked the gentleman at the counter if they had air as I needed to fill my tire. He told me where it was and as I pulled up I had no Idea the wonderful customer service I was going to experience, a gentleman named Josh filled my tire and I asked if they repair leaks he stated yes but went above and beyond by checking if it was repairable and not needing a new tire. He took his time and checked my tire and found a nail and told me he can definitely patch it up right then and there. Mike gave him the OK and he was able to fix my tire. I'm beyond thankful and fortunate that Josh took the time to do this and the customer service is phenomenal!!!!! Great customer service from both men! Thank you so much!!!! I would refer anyone here!!!

Over several years George & Bob's Services has applied mechanical skills for our SUVs. Also, excellent advice, timely repairs, kept promises, alerted us to needed maintenance and fixed systems before a breakdown occurred on the road. Our older vehicles are reliable thanks to their guidance and expertise.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. They do the work requested and let you know what should be done in the future so there are no surprises. They only fix what needs to be fixed and explain to you if there is something they think needs to be fixed, never any pressure . Great service and reliable
