I had a collision with my car and George’s Automotive did an amazing job with my car!! The damage was really bad because my fender was smashed in and my rearview mirror fell off. My bumper also had a lot of damage and they made it look brand new. I appreciate the transparency when it comes to purchasing parts. Khadir really tried to work with my budget because I had liability. 10/10 would recommend.

I had the most wonderful experience at George’s. I can absolutely say that this is one of the most honest and trustworthy mechanics I’ve ever encountered, especially in the city. As someone who’s totally clueless when it comes to cars, they very easily could’ve charged me an arm and a leg for this repair, but instead he went out of his way to give me a great deal. I can’t recommend this place enough they’re all so kind and generous, suffice to say I’ll never take my car to be repaired anywhere else!

I recently took my car in since the horn stopped working, John was super friendly and told me to relax at home and to not worry about it. It was ready the next morning and it was very affordable compared to other shops. Highly recommend this place!!

My car had a fallen metal piece that was dragging all of sudden. I called & they told me to drop the car off at any time. They were friendly & polite. They gave me an estimate & told me the car would be fixed in an hour. They were so quick and explained what they did to fix the issue. I was a bit intimidated, since this was the first time I had car trouble in Chicago. But it was the most pleasant experience. I felt welcome and reassured I could come back if I had any other issues. Thanks again for the great work!

He was very willing to work with you where others weren't. His work was very professional & with quality touch. I took my 2011 Mazda 3 after it was leaking oil. The mechanic Khadir, was so friendly and gave me a quick inspection before and after the vehicle was fixed. They cleaned off all the oil, replaced the belts, and got my car running as if it were new. I will definitely only bring my car here as long as I live in Chicago.

The crew performed outstanding body work on my Honda Accord in a very timely manner. They even fixed my door for me for free. I’ve been bringing my car to these guys for two years and they always do an amazing job. They are very trustworthy and helpful. I highly recommend this shop!

After meeting John and Khadir, I refuse to take my car anywhere else. I first found this place by chance googling the closest auto repair shop for an oil change. Within 5 minutes of speaking with the owner, I knew he was gonna be my go to guy.These guys are super super detail oriented/meticulous and very clearly good honest people. This is what originally made the impression on me. Their pricing is also better than other shops I’ve been to which is also a plus. I’ve had service here at least 3 times now, and every time I come in I can be fully confident that 1.) my mechanic Is being fully truthful with me and acting in my best interest, 2.) that the work will get done properly, and 3.) that I’m getting a good deal. Seriously though, go talk to Khadir for 2 minutes and you’ll understand.

Khadir and John are OUTSTANDING. I've been taking my car to this shop since 2016 and I won't take it anywhere else. If you're looking for an honest quality auto mechanic this is the place. Excellent service outstanding attention to detail. They are patient and dedicated to find and fix any issue with your car. Khadir and John want to make you a return customer, and do everything they can to ensure you are taken care of at a fair and reasonable rate. Go once, you will not go anywhere else.

After getting an astronomical quote for services unrelated to the issue I was having at another shop in the neighborhood, and getting brushed off by another because they were too busy, I found George's and am glad I did. Khamir was easy to work with, the price was extremely reasonable, and I was back on the road way sooner than I expected. Absolutely going back here first the next time I have an issue with my car.

I came with a tire issue, and although George's doesn't deal with tires, Khadir was super friendly and helpful. He took a look at my tire, identified the issue, and recommended a nearby location that was able to help me with my issue free of charge! Update 7 years later: I’m sitting here with Khadir right now as he helped me in another pinch. I’ve been using his services for 7 years now. I highly recommend to anyone in the area.

When my car threw a temper tantrum over a shot throttle body, I’m so lucky it decided to give up right by George’s! Khadir was SO nice and they had everything fixed up in a day. I have taken my car to George's several times now and have had nothing but the best experiences. Khadir and the team are incredibly helpful and get the job done well and fast! I recently had my catalytic converter stolen and George's help me work with insurance and get it fixed quickly. I'm so glad to have such a reliable and affordable shop so close to home! I highly recommend George's. Khadir and his team do amazing work for excellent prices. I went to them for body work because of damage to my trunk as well as brake pad/rotor replacements; his team completed the work in just a couple of days and took care of the smallest details.

I went to George’s automotive Repair to have the fuel pump for my GMC terrain replaced. As usual the service was outstanding! John worked on my car and he’s someone that my whole family trusts and respects the amazing job he does with our vehicle repair. Highly recommended repair shop! John is great, Khodor is great, the whole crew they have their are meticulous with their work and always offer wonderful and trusted service!

I've been bringing my cars here for 4 years now (formerly a Civic, currently a Prius) and every time is such a pleasant experience, which is not something you typically expect when bringing your car into a mechanic! The owner, Kadir is such an angel and is always honest and fair. I know there's a stereotype of going to the mechanic alone as a woman but there's nothing to fear here. I've brought my car in when I was overreacting and thought it was making a noise. Turns out it was nothing, and Kadir explained that to me as well as what upcoming maintenance I might need in the future. He's never pushy and doesn't try to upsell you. I can't say it enough, come here! There's a reason they have nearly 5 stars and have been around as long as they have. As long as I live in Chicago, I'll bring my car to George's.

This is the best auto shop that I’ve ever been to in all my years of having service done on my cars. They are a pleasure to deal with and do whatever they need to do to take care of you.
