Highly recommend George’s. I’ve taken my Volvo to several places around town and this is the best quality, hands down. I had an issue with my engine several months ago and their pricing was about 2/3 of the cost of the dealership. Maybe more importantly, their customer service is top notch. Junior calls me in a timely fashion to give me the diagnosis and he lays out all of the options. He’s takes the time to walk me through the issue in laymen’s terms. I’ve never felt like George’s was taking advantage of me as someone who knows very little about cars. Their location isn’t convenient for me but I’m happy to take my car here because I know the customer service and the work itself it’s well worth it.

I brought my 2008 Saab back to Junior at George's Imports after several years for some maintenance work and to check brakes, get oil changed, etc. He gave me the heads-up on a few issues to keep an eye out for, rather than charge me for a bunch of work that he could have easily done and justified. Instead he honed in on the issues that needed to be addressed and treated me fairly with those. He also charged me a lot less than other mechanics had quoted me for an issue with the gas gauge sensor that he was able to fix easily. I highly recommend George's Imports and I was very impressed with their professionalism and honesty.

Rude and way overpriced. Definitely skip. Took almost a week to just look at my car after making 8 am appointment and then I have to go in person to ask about my car because I don't hear back. All for a $262 bill for looking at and replacing a bulb.

This place is a straight rip off. Don't mess with these people. They just took my money. Did not do what they said would be done. I would not send my enemy there.

As a Volvo owner I unfortunately spend more time in the shop than I would prefer. George’s has been great at diagnosing and fixing my car when other mechanics have failed. They are honest, fairly priced and great at what they do.

I love this place. Georges Imports is fantastic and I would recommend to my family and friends. I was referred to Georges when another shop had problems fixing our Audi and they fixed everything and it is now running like when we drove it off the lot brand new !! They also fixed our Escalade and its never run better as well !! Thank you to Junior for your fantastic service and thank you also to the rest of the experts that work at Georges Imports !! I sadly drove my 2004 Saab 9-3 over a curb at driving speed last week and did damage to the front bumper guard plate. I talked to Junior who has done a great job keeping me on the road and he talked me through the removal of the part until I can get it into Georges for a better idea how much more damage I may have done. He was patient and logical and though I have no mechanical skills he successfully guided me through the process. I think this quality of service goes over and above what most of us have come to expect in folks today regardless of their profession. Thank you Junior and I will remain loyal to you and Georges Imports as I continue to enjoy my Saab through the coming years. Frank Swyden

I've been meaning to write a review about this place, they're the only ones I trust with my VW passat. I've been going here about 2 years now and these guys are so reliable and actually fix my car's issues. The first time I went here another shop had my car for almost 2 months telling me I needed a new engine.. Taking it here within a couple of days they found the problem right away. It can get pricy, that's my only reason for 4 stars, but other than that I'm always happy to get my car back from them!

Awesome service friendly enough guys. It was hard to find anyone who would work on our vehicle since it was Saab . We got a referral to them and couldn't be happier our kids car is up and going again after bringing it to them in pieces from a previous mechanic who was blowing us off. Thanks again!

I live in Lawrence and my clutch failed on the way home. I called to set up a tow and Jr walked me thru his phone diagnostic and made recommendation on a fix. I did the repair myself but would never have Identified the problem on my own. Incredibly and extremely knowledgeable and caring about these cars. When it gets beyond my wekend mechanic abilities, I am definitely going here. Thank you

I recently bought a 1972 MG Midget. It had a lot of electrical problems. Terri “Senior” went to work and fix almost everything. The rate was insanely reasonable. Nobody else will work on my car moving forward.
