Went in with a damaged tailgate.. They came to parking lot and was able to get it to go back on the truck. This was awesome customer service. When I get the replacement tailgate I'll be going back to them for the paint and reinstall..

NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE. This place was actually awful. I dropped my car off on December 22nd and they didn’t even start my car until weeks later. I would get texted updates saying they were working on it, of course I would call because I wanted updates but when I did they would tell me something completely different and the text isn’t right and they haven’t even touched that part of my car. The front desk lady (Heather) doesn’t even know how to do her job and is very rude and unprofessional. I got the manger to wave my deductible because I told him I’m not paying for services I’m not getting. I’ve had so many due dates on when I could pick up my car but there was always something wrong. I picked it up at one point just to make it 5 minutes down the road because their job was incomplete and had an alignment problem when I didn’t even have one when it was given to them. I went in only needed a new door and a paint job done. It is now February 8th and I just got it back. The work is okay. But it could have definitely got done better and faster else were. Please never take your car to this place even if your insurance tells you to. SWITCH SHOPS SO FAST. So unprofessional and lazy I wish I could give them no stars.

I took my vehicle to Gerber Collision & Glass on 71st St. next to Tulsa Hills. I was there to get an estimate on the damage to my vehicle.( I drove the vehicle there) I left the vehicle there and was called a couple weeks later to let me know that the insurance would not pay the $7600 estimate that Gerber had written on it. After calling Gerber, I was told that I had at least 100 people in front of me and that my truck was all torn apart in the back and they did not know when they would be able to reassemble it. I said fine I will just come pick it up the way it is. (having several customers in front of me did not seem to deter them from disassembling the vehicle for the estimate.) when I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I have found that most of the body panels on the front were removed and the door had been completely gutted. It had been left outside in the rain and rain had poured in it for several days filling it up with water. The battery was dead and it would not start. I looked through the truck to make sure I had all the pieces and did not find any of the bolts or fasteners. I was told by an employee that all of my bolts were bad and not any good and they did not know where they were. After jumpstarting my vehicle I drove it home with the door tied shut bungee cord and reassembled it that weekend so that I could drive it to work on Monday. After calling in speaking with the general manager, he told me he would make everything right there after when I messaged him or trying to contact him, he simply ignored me, or I was told he was unavailable. I am leaving this review for the benefit of other people who might read it. If you decide to take your car to this company to have it repaired I hope you have a better experience than I did.

Our vehicle was severely damaged by falling trees during a storm, prompting Geico to refer us to Gerber for repairs. Regrettably, I neglected to conduct thorough research before entrusting them with my car. We initially brought it in on November 15th, expecting a somewhat quick and smooth process, but it ended up being at Gerber for 14 weeks. Initially, they promised bi-weekly updates, which sounded promising and were upheld for about a month. However, it quickly became evident that the entire staff had undergone turnover, resulting in a severe lack of communication and updates for a couple of months, unless we initiated contact. The updates we did receive were often inaccurate, leaving us feeling uninformed and frustrated with the apparent disarray among the staff. Conflicting messages about the progress of our car added to the confusion, with assurances that it was nearing completion followed by unexpected delays of up to eight weeks due to a lack of parts. Upon finally retrieving our vehicle, we were dismayed to discover many black marks marring the cream-colored interior roof. This oversight was unacceptable and indicative of the lack of attention to detail. In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend Gerber for car repairs based on our experience. It's imperative for potential clients to thoroughly research their options before entrusting their vehicles to any establishment, but especially to Gerber.

The customer service here is absolutely hideous. They made me wait a week just to get an estimate then couldn't even give me an idea if they could actually get it in soon. They got my email wrong to send the estimate to. I told multiple people and they just grazed past it. Teach your crew to have more compassion. This is my only vehicle and my way around. I felt completely perked around by there customer service

DO NOT USE EVEN IF INSURANCE RECOMMENDS! I took my truck here because insurance recommended it to me. I took it in end of February. I would talk to them every week to get updates. First was they couldn’t get it fixed that they had to get all new parts so they were waiting on parts. Then that they were gonna try to fix it because it was gonna take to long for parts. Then that they had to wait for the part. So waited for part. They got wrong part in so had to wait some more. They give a date when I’m gonna get my truck back and don’t get it back. They keep on pushing back. Was supposed to get it in April. Then begging of may then mid may then end of may. Here’s the funny part😂 here last week of May I called and they told me not gonna be ready until June 8 because paint booth is broken and they have to fly somebody from Italy to come fix it. This is the stupidest excuse I had ever heard. You telling me this is the only way on getting a vehicle painted. You can’t take it to one of your other locations. So over three months now no truck. On top of this I had to pay for truck rental. Not using this place ever again!! I got my truck 5 months later with broken parts stuff not working properly and marks on my car. I showed them the issues and they said to take it back. I took it back and left it there for a week and told me that it was ready. I went to get my truck and nothing was fixed. They have no communication skills at all. They said sorry they thought it got done. So they said to take it back again. So I did. They couldn’t get to it so they wanted me to leave it there and they will get to to it when they had time. So my vehicle was not a priority no more. They don’t care.

I have deleted and am redoing my review of Gerber Collision specifically the location off of 71st and Elwood. Initially things started off very bumpy and rough and I was very unhappy but they are making every effort they can to correct and do things properly and safely and I'm very happy and grateful for that!

If I could give it no stars I would. This is a 3 hour job and they had my vehicle for almost 2 weeks. No phone calls “till I called “ then it excuse after excuse of why it’s not being work. Every time I call on hold for 10 mins Bad customer service. I hope geico stops using them. I will put his name on here but the collision got the answers the phone don’t know what the hrs doing or talking about and he’s a liar.

Need to add phone support. Called twice today, first time nobody came to the phone after waiting for 10 minutes. Called back an hour later, put on hold for someone to help me, currently on hold for another 8 minutes and counting. Finally transferred automatically to an automated voicemail. Awful service, I will find another company to help me and will not be surprised when this company is gone from lack of handling new customers.

So updating my review! I still do not recommend this place. 3 times they supposedly fixed my car. 3 times I took it back. Took it to the dealership and come to find out, Gerber had charged my insurance for a new radiator but yet IT WAS NEVER REPLACED! So DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! They will fraud your insurance. Never will I ever recommend anyone to this place ! This place is a joke! If I could give 0 stars, I would!

I initially dropped off my car at this repair center at the suggestion of my insurance due to a non-collision accident. They had my car for about a month due to parts supplier issues, but kept me appraised of the progress until it was done. Upon inspection, my rear bumper was gouged while in their possession. I contacted the manager, Nick, and he was quick to respond. He managed to fit me into their busy schedule to make it right, along with a rental car in the meantime. Thanks to Nick and his team for acknowledging my issue and honoring his word. My rear bumper looks as good as new now, and I am thankful for his stellar customer service. A little patience and communication go a long way these days.

I took my car here because of the good reputation. I understand parts are on backorder things are out of the collision places hands. However, they do not provide valid updates on your car. They have been giving me the run around when they should've just been honest with me about the parts from the beginning. For weeks I have thought I was getting my car back because that's what Cameron kept telling me. Only to find out from the progressive lady there that they still have missing parts. Just be honest with your customers and keep them updated. I've had to call half the time for updates and drag information out of them. I'll never take my car here again.
