My 07 VW Touareg was hemorrhaging oil. German auto was able to fit me in their busy schedule rather quickly. They were able to quickly assess the problem and sent pics of their findings. The vehicle was repaired quickly. They also cleaned the Exxon Valdez oil spill that was under the entire under side of my vehicle. Car is now leak free and I don't have to check my oil daily. Thank you for the outstanding work. I will be returning if I need anymore work on my vehicle.

Jeremiah is personable and a true craftsman. Inviting atmosphere and pleasant staff. The team at this shop made sure my Minnesota car passed the Virgina state inspection it had initially failed (at minnieville exxon) for suspension and brake issues. They went above and beyond by providing me information on Virginia's policies regarding re-inspection and emissions which saved me time and money. Thank you, I plan on coming back here for service on my 2002 golf 🙌

I should have read reviews from Fairfax shop before taking my vehicle here. I would give this shop NO stars if it was possible, I saw this was a recent new shop when searching for place that was close to me and due to the shop I usually go to have like a 3 week wait before I can be seen. I had an oil leak so I was told of course which expected it would be $175 diagnostic to figure out issue, so I dropped if off received a call back saying several things needed to be fix sent invoice and stated leak was coming from cam seal. I just had the cam seal repaired a little over 2 years ago but I didn't question it and let them fix it which ran me a little over 1K. I picked my car up got home car still leaks oil and nothing was cleaned around the engine or car where all the oil had made contact with . So what that told me is they didn't do a full diagnosis as claim. Im not a mechanic but ive been having car work done plenty of times and when you have work done for something like a leak you clean everything off to locate the problem not just take a guess of what it is and start from the top and work your way down(which I was told when I took it back about the car still leaking oil). I basically had to bring it up about not being cleaned to locate the problem even if it was more than one location of what should of been done, this is basic knowledge with anything that leaks if dirty etc. long story short Jose kept giving me excuse after excuse where it could be coming from trying to show me oil here and there at different locations on my car, of course wind when driving down the road going to spread it everywhere that's why you clean it up and let the car sit to see from where it drips which wasn't done until I brought it back. So the oil leak was not dropping from the cam seal at a high rate it was from the oil pan seal. So I paid the $1000 for something more than likely needed not to be fix and no apology was offered about the laziness of there work and I didn't even get credit for the diagnosis added to my bills so in all $1300 and still same issue. Lesson learned for me, stick to what you know even if it takes a few weeks to be seen. Im taking to my usual repair shop in Manassas once fixed I will add update and cost to compare to what these clowns was trying to charge me to fix the actual problem which was another $1000 smh.

Contacted German Auto Specialists to perform a Pre Purchase Inspection (PPI). The technician who performed my PPI was Jose Montano. Within an hour of vehicle drop off, he called and asked if I could come in so he could show me some areas of concern. I wasn't able to come in - he said it wasn't a problem and shared pictures in the write-up instead. After he fully completed the inspection in 2-3 hours, he wrote up a report, included photos, and gave me a call to explain the problem areas. I had many questions and he was patient. Jose gave me the comfort I needed to purchase the vehicle. When I need servicing, I'm confident German Auto Specialists will take care of my vehicle and keep me on the road.

I brought my Audi S5 here hoping to find a solid shop in the woodbridge area. This shop and staff has exceeded my expectations and has gone above and beyond. I'm truly grateful at the effort put into each job and the time taken while talking things over. The gentleman running the place, Jose, is extremely knowledgeable and understands his customer base as well as cars. His passion for his work truly shines when you get him talking about various aspects of cars in general. The shop workers are always moving and it never seems like they are wasting time standing around. They work equally as hard. I will be coming back here as he has earned my trust and business for all my future and current vehicles. Great team here!

Jose was very professional and helped me in every way during my visit to get my car worked on. He helped me find the parts that I needed in a timely manner and he and his crew got me in and out with no issue.
