German Motor Works is the best place to bring your German car! You can tell Johnny and team work extremely hard and run an ethical shop. They are not out to get you and only recommend necessary services. Prices are reasonable. Very refreshing to see a shop with integrity!

This shop offered to do a "courtesy pre-purchase inspection" on a car that had been there for major maintenence work in the recent past. The car was "inspected" and the mechanic, Jonny, reported the car was "pristine". The car was purchased on this premise and was immediately found to have fuel leaks, coolant leaks, a failing air-oil separator, failing AC compressor, and numerous other mechanical issues/failures. I understand it was a "courtesy" but why even offer that if you aren't even going to look the car over or do anything? Their lack of honesty and transparency has resulted in over $10,000 of repairs in this car that they claimed to be "pristine". Avoid this shop as they are not trustworthy or honest and will likely just say anything to make money from you or do the least work possible.

I’m always skeptical when trying out a new shop. I went in for an oil change, inspection and alignment. The inspection was the most thorough I’ve had at an Audi specialty shop. The tech said the car is in great shape and he doesn’t expect any issues anytime soon. Good service, good prices, good peace of mind.

Upon arrival I couldn’t help but notice how nice the facility was and how passionate the technician felt towards vehicles and his work. The technician seemed confident; but, I was still skeptical. After picking up my vehicle and while I was driving I noticed a significant improvement with accelerating; it was so much more smooth and gratifying. I was truly impressed and I couldn’t be more happy with the experience. I highly recommend German Motors to all.

Jonny is the absolute best. I wouldn't take my VW or Porsche to anyone else. German Motor Works does an outstanding job, the staff is great, and the rates are incredibly fair. I have zero confidence in our VW dealer, and I'm terrified to let people work on my Porsche, but with Jonny I don't think twice. If you need someone you can trust with your baby, this is the place.

Was recommended to come here after I had issues dealing with other mechanics and dealerships, was of the mind going in that they were all crooked and here wouldn't be any different. I am so thankful that I was wrong. Johnny and the rest of the staff are truly amazing. Great with communicating and great work. I won't bring a vehicle anywhere else and I've been a customer of his for over a year. Not long I know but I almost never used a shop more than once prior to coming here. Great people, great service.

They will NOT work on your car if it's not registered in Kansas. That's good to know and I've never heard of such a thing.
