I was an adult chaperone for high school girls at one of T's car workshops. T was friendly and professional as she explained basic car maintenance in our 3 hour workshop. I would highly recommend this empowering and helpful workshop to help girls build confidence with their cars and on the road as drivers. Thank you T!

We had Talena help us with our almost 20 year-old Rav4, and we’re so happy we did! Not only did she diagnose the issue, take care of it, and get the car back up and running, she did all of it while explaining everything and showing us how it’s all done. She’s an excellent communicator and really demystified car stuff to two people who are completely inexperienced in this area. And...I never thought I'd say this about working on our car, but she actually made it fun! We learned so much from her and feel really confident in our understanding of the work she did and how to stay on top of it going forward. We feel so much better knowing a little more about how to tackle problems when they come up... and that Talena can come to the rescue when we need help! Definitely the best experience we've ever had getting work done on our car!

Had such a great experience with T! She responds quickly and was very sweet. She taught me some things about my car and let me help change my brakes so I could learn, which was a lot of fun. We even had to make a little field trip to get different parts but she was so great through all of it. My car really needed the work done so she’s much appreciated. Highly recommend

More than satisfied with Girlie Garage. Not only is Talena kind and patient but the way she lets you be hands on while fixing the issue on the vehicle is so much fun and easy to understand. T is FABULOUS. She came and spoke with our Girl Scout troop of new-to-driving teens. Our kids now know things I didn't at their age- how to change a tire, filters, fluid levels, etc. Everything was hands on, paced just right- it was such a great few hours learning about our very own cars! Highly recommend!

Talena did a fantastic job installing a catalytic shield on my Tacoma. She took the time to explain what she was doing and pointed out other things I should keep an eye on. As a mobile mechanic- she came to me at home. She is honest, professional and prompt. 5 stars!!!

I received a quote from a dealer on upcoming needed repairs for my older Lexus. They gave me a discounted price of $9,500! They said that the engine would need to come out to do some of the repairs which was why the estimate was so high. I was freaking out to say the least! I needed a trusted source and I happened to meet Talena at a Girl Scout event that night! What an incredible coincidence. I mentioned the estimate and she said that she would be happy to do a phone consultation. I sent Talena the estimate that I received and she walked me through all of the items, explaining what it was, the purpose of the part or component and also whether it was urgent based on how my car was currently running. I breathed a huge sigh of relief and felt prepared to take the next step. I had an appointment with a trusted shop a few days later and Talena and I connected after that appointment. My car is fine for now, but likely work will need to be done many months from now and at about 1/3 the cost! I am grateful for Talena empowering me with knowledge and hope to use her for work in the future!

Talena aka Tee is great! I ran over a metal object on the highway which cut my brake line. Talena, being a mobile mechanic, came to my home, swapped the line, and flushed the brake fluid with ease. Now my car works well again! Not only Talena is an amazing mechanic but a very outgoing person who loves to educate others on cars. Her rates are very reasonable as well. Definitely recommend!!!

A group of high school sophomore Girl Scouts took Talena’s Girlie Garage care car workshop and it was fantastic! It was hands on and we (including the parents) learned very useful and pertinent skills. Highly recommend taking a class with Talena.

Girlie Garage's DIY video on how to replace the trunk latch on my 2012 Tiguan was a godsend!!! She saved me at least $500. The dealer wanted to charge me ~$600. Meanwhile, her instructional video was clear / efficient and showed me how to do it in under 15 minutes and with what tools. It got then part and tools online for $45 and it all worked great! I will absolutely call on her for concierge services if the need arrives in the future.

Girlie Garage is the mechanical service I have been looking for and wanting for so many years! Talena is absolutely amazing at both car repair services and teaching about the inner workings of so many different types of vehicles. As a woman I have been treated so poorly by mechanics and taken advantage of in pricing and being talked down to as though I don’t know anything about cars. With Talena my experience is the exact opposite. I’m treated with respect and empowered to learn how to take care of my vehicle. I am a proud owner of a 99’ 4Runner, a car I love very much and will do everything I can to keep it as long as it will have me. With Talena’s services I feel me and Dmitri (my vehicle) are in the most amazing hands. Girlie Garage is the answer many women have been looking for, Talena is a gifted mechanic with kindness and true care for her diverse clientele. After looking at the conditions of my brakes, learning to change my own tire, being taught different parts of the engine, changing the valve covers, cleaning out engine pieces (it was AMAZING getting to open up parts of the engine and get to know my car this way), learning how to clean my air filter, and reading different codes of the check engine light (and fixing those codes) I feel myself closer to being more of a handy mechanic. I can’t thank Talena enough. I needed to have my rear brakes replaced for my BMW. Unfortunately, any type of work for those cars are not cheap. Talena did not only replace my brakes but she taught me how. She explained every step of the way and I am confident I can now do it myself now. That will save me so much money. I highly recommend!

I’d like to show my appreciation to Tee aka Girlie Garage for her stellar service. I had trouble starting my car and with Tee’s help we determined the starter needed to be replaced. She was quick and very proficient with her work. She not only replaced my starter but took the time to educate me on some things that need work under my car and in the engine bay . Gave me great pointers where and where not to buy parts. Her prices are very reasonable and I felt I got a good bang for my buck with her educating me during the process. It is obvious that she is passionate about what she does and it serves well to the community. Thank you Tee! 1/29/24 Review number 2! Tee double backed on me and knocked out 3 projects in one session with ease. She is really easy to work with and truly does her job so well! My car was in dyer need of some maintenance and upgrades . Tee completed replacing my oil pan, oil pan gasket, oil change, replaced my AC belt and found my ballast that was lost inside the headlight unit for years. Her intern for that day was also awesome and showed great passion while completing a brake and rotor replacement. I’m very thankful for all Tee does for me and my family. Dont hesitate to ask her for her services she will not disappoint!

Talena helped me install a fender liner and undercarriage shield for my car, and even spent time to get me under the car to see how it looks and how it's done myself. I appreciate the fact that she doesn't just work on cars, but consults to make sure you aren't getting ripped off by mechanics, and educates you on how to do some of your own simple work on the car to save money! The education aspect of her work is incredible. I appreciate her explaining things to me while working as well. I felt more comfortable than I ever have with a mechanic

Girlie Garage taught me and my wife how to change our Toyota Camry 2004's oil. Talena was extremely helpful. She helped us buy the right tools and then - of course - taught us how to change our own oil. It's worth every penny to learn how to work on my car and understand safe and effective techniques. My wife and I had fun and we learned something! We felt inspired and we enjoyed every second of the experience. The owner went out of her way to reach our rural home, which was greatly appreciated. Professional, educational, and kind. We really couldn't ask for more.

I was blindsided by a repair estimate on my mini cooper which was higher than the car’s value and was lucky to have found Girlie Garage to help me sort through it. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for girlie garage consulting. The dealership wanted to charge me for a 1700 repair to my 3 year old car. Thanks to her guidance and research / consultation I found out the repair is supposed to covered by a Customer Support Program due to a known issue. The dealership is now making the repair for free. I’m so glad I got in contact with Talena at Girlie Garage. I began having trouble with my car after taking it in for service, which was a huge red flag for me. Talena was able to come out and take a look at my car to help me find out what was going on. Not only did she help me repair what was broken, but she educated me on how to check different parts of my car such as the brake pads, tire pressure, and changing cabin and engine air filters. She shared so much valuable knowledge and I feel like I know so much more than I did before. Seriously, thank you so much Talena.

Talena is a life saver and consulting with her saved me $9k and from making a huge mistake of trading in my car at less then 1/3 of the value had I listened to the Lexus dealership. I cannot say enough how much I appreciated having someone I can trust, who really had my best interest at heart, to help me navigate the lack of integrity of a massive dealership, another mechanic shop, and an overall extremely stressful and potentially VERY expensive problem (that was not really even a problem). I will not be making any decisions regarding my vehicle without first consulting Talena. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone without hesitation. Talena, is THE BEST in the car biz in my opinion! Her mission is to empower, educate and consult with you so that you have everything you need to make the best possible decisions for the health of your vehicle. She’s honest, kind, knowledgeable, and really loves what she does. You can feel it from her when you meet her! I booked her for a hour consultation so I could learn what I needed to do to get my car in shape for my big road trip to the east coast. I’m a little ashamed to admit it, but I never really cared about the health of my car until now. I am finally realizing it takes regular maintenance and care! So, I am extremely thankful Talena taught me how to change my air filters, how to check my fluids correctly, how to clean my engine once the leak was fixed, and she made solid recommendations on other money saving tricks. She’s mobile so she can come to you! If for any reason she cannot complete the repairs, she connects you with other local mechanics and makes good product recommendations too. She fixed an oil leak and powered steering fluid leak on my car and oversaw me cleaning the engine. No additional leaks! Problem solved! On top of that she was communicative, flexible, and professional throughout the whole process! She really has empowered me to do this road trip that will, no doubt, be as epic as Talena is. I brought my car to a mechanic regarding a concerning sound and they misdiagnosed the issue, so I called Girlie Garage and they were able to point me in the right direction over the phone. BEST experience ever. Before Talena, I always left maintenance inspections feeling ripped off due to my limited knowledge on cars and not understanding what I was really being charged for. Two hours with Talena taught me SO much. Thanks to her, I know how to change a tire, check fluids and inspect my car on my own which saves me so much more money in the long run. Really empowering session as I knew absolutely nothing about cars prior to our time together and she was extremely kind and patient when teaching me everything. I had an info session with Talena and the amount of value that she provided in an hour was incredible. One hour with her will save you tens of thousands over a lifetime of car ownership, not exaggerating, especially considering money saved from work you can do yourself that multiplies, plus being able to spot a mechanic that doesn't know what they're doing or overcharges. I'm thrilled to say that I'll never be charged 100+ for air filter replacements again! A job that takes 20 in materials and 15 minutes. Not only is she knowledgeable and leverages 14+ years of mechanic experience, but she's a great teacher who keeps the session on task and time, while answering any specific concerns or questions. I needed an oil change and brake fluid flush and I used her videos to do it myself. She met with me to look over everything and then gave me her opinion. I decided to try to attempt it myself using her videos and I was able to do it!
