Great local shop with a knowledgeable and trustworthy owner. Very few neighborhood shops left that you can trust with quality work.

I've been taking my cars to Simon for the past 12 years. He's an honest mechanic and knows exactly what he's doing. Even on bigger projects, he has a quick turnaround and I've never had to bring my car back in for any work he's done. There's no other shop I'll bring my car to, thanks for your continued help Simon!

After developing a coolant leak on Saturday, I researched looking for a reputable mechanic near me. I read impressive reviews about Simon at Glenview Automotive. So I took my car in on Monday morning around 830. Simon was great! Speedy diagnosis, repaired same day, fair prices and I sensed he was honest and someone I could trust should future mechanical issues occur. I found my new go to mechanic and highly recommend Simon at Glenview Automotive.

Very happy to have found Simon and Glenview Automotive. A mechanic at another shop told me that my front brake pads needed to be replaced. I thought this was odd since there were no indication to suggest worn pads: no squeaking, no grinding sounds, etc. My older Honda (2004) does not have an indicator light so I wasn't sure whether to believe the first mechanic. Took the car to Simon who did a visual inspection; he said I still had 5mm on the front pads and 6mm on the back. (New pads typically have between 8-12mm). More broadly, Simon (and his daughter who works in the office) left me feeling that I could trust them to do an honest job for a fair price. I echo the endorsements of other posters and would not hesitate to recommend this small repair garage. I will definitely return if I encounter car issues in the future.

My husband is an Uber and Lyft driver and a passenger recommended this mechanic as the only one they trust, and our first service there confirmed this expectation, and we saved about $250 compared to the dealership estimate for tune-up, oil change, fan belt and brake pads. Simon also honestly said what actually needs to be done and what was up-sell by the dealership, avoiding unnecessary $500 valve adjustment on our Honda Accord. He was very courteous and professional and had everything done the same day without a prior appointment, so we'll definitely use him again for all of our cars!

Simon Ho is an outstanding mechanic. We were introduced to him by a neighbor and have been taking various makes and models of cars to him for the past 6 years or so. He is honest, fast, and is a pleasure to work with. He used to be located at the Piedmont Valero and his new location is easy to get to. I have recommended Simon to family and co workers as well and they have all come back with the same positive experience. I am amazed how skilled Simon is - he seems to know to work on every make and model of every car. From time to time I see him working on some pretty exotic cars like the Porsche 356 and the BMW M3. How cool is that?
