I ran over a nail in Capitola at the docks. I called and the owner got me in immediately. It took him 15 minutes to get it out for $30. Thank you!

He was the only one open after 6pm on Saturday evening when I had a flat. One place stated they don't take in vehicles after 4pm. Was not going to be in town long as being part of a charity bike ride, driving a support vehicle and desperately needed it fixed right away. The man patched it w/n 15 minutes and liked how he double checked it in his water tank. He mounted it back on and I was on my way. Would definitely seek his services again if this situation happened again.

Very bad experience. Took my car for a wheel balance. The guy who did the job, didn’t even clean the wheel where the weights were placed to balance the wheel. Weights on wheel came off in a day after being placed. I returned back to get the wheel done right and the guy (worker) refused to do the job right. He claimed nothing bad will happen to my tire if I drive my car like that. I had to take my car somewhere else to get this done right. Do not recomen this shop.

Had a 2 inch screw in the middle of of the tire, no where near the side wall. Took it to Big O and they told me it wasn't repairable and I would need to replace all 4 tires at $1100. So told Big O to put my spare tire on as if I couldn't get it repaired else where I'd have to live with a spare until I could afford new tires. Took it to Gondez and less then 30 minutes and $30 dollars later they had repaired it and mounted it back on my car. When I do get new tires I'll order them and bring them in for them to mount them. Another customer complained about spending $160 for mounting 4 tires. That's very reasonable to mount tires, we aren't in the year 2010 anymore. Also maybe if you have a specialty car like a Tesla go somewhere else, but for a basic 2019 Civic they are hard workers and you can tell are working just to survive themselves. We should all support our local mom and pop shops more then these big ultra mega corporations.

Terrible phone connection and communication abilities, rude, impatient, and unable to give an estimate over the phone. I would have preferred to go them over so some large corporate place.. bums me out they were so rude.

I had a very bad experiance. I am going back today to see if the owner will give me back the good tires, and rim they stole off my car while repairing sidewall cuts that shouldn't have been repaired as I paid for replacement used tires to be put on. Oh yeah, and they replaced one of my 2 good tires which they stole with a tire and rim that was a bigger size than the other 3. Yep I took my charger in they gave me back an Iraqi roadrunner. If the owner gives me back my money, my tires, and my rim I'll write another review. They stole my tires and 1 rim and didn't even give me the 2 used ones I paid for. Unbelievable. I plan to file a bbb report and sue them civily for the cost of the stolen parts and my hundred, file a police report and tell the city as they endangered mine and my daughters life. One of the irreparable tires they patched blew out on Thanksgiving as we were leaving to go over hwy 17. Thank God it didn't make it a little further I wouldn't be talking to you.

I needed a tire to replace the 'weenie spare' on my Toyota Highlander. Gondez took care of it in 15 minutes, fitting a nearly new Michelin on my provided rim. All for a very reasonable price. EZPZ! They have a huge stock of used tires as well as new ones. The guy doesn't speak the best English, but that was not a problem. I will happily go there again.

THIS GUY IS A RIPOFF! Bought a used tire. Drove 6 miles and had a sidewall blowout Went back and demanded refund Owner says “How do I know that is tire I sold you?” And he refused to give me back my $$ DO NOT BUY TIRES FROM THIS POS!!!!!!

I managed to run over a nail in both back tires. Both tires were almost threadbare on the inside rim which I was told was dangerous. Danny explained what was wrong and showed me how to check my tires in the future and when to get them rotated to avoid the tires ending up dangerous again. They replaced them with used tires, I only had a little cash on me so I couldn't afford new ones but these look new to me so I'm happy. Great experience!! Thanks for the car care lesson, the fast and friendly service, and getting me back on the road in a short time!

When in a tough bind financially for tires, this is the only place in Santa Cruz that i know of that can replace tires at their cost. I'm talking very affordable along with Friendly's service. To top it all off, fast! I love these guys!

don’t ever go here. if you want something affordable check out west bay tires in santa cruz. they’re completely incompetent here and will go the cheapest and lowest-tech route possible on any service. they weren’t able to remove a part from something i was getting serviced on my car and instead of not taking further action after difficulty, they decided to keep trying until it broke and offered no help or solutions. now after spending over $100, I now have to spend an additional $200. Stay away from this place by all means.

Got a used tire and turns out next day i noticed the air bubble it had- i went back to Gondez and they replaced- later noticed that replacement was low- rather than wasting my time again with them i went elsewhere- they Installed a tire and noticed broken sensor- this new place then warned me about this place.
