I stopped in today to ask some questions about my 2015 Honda Fit regarding my tire pressure gauge and other issues with my car. I cannot say enough great things about Good Year in Penfield, New York. I have been a long term customer and cannot say enough about the entire staff. The service manager Shawn is always pleasant and knowlegeable. No matter who assists me at the front desk or does the maintenance on my car I always receive excellent service! They never rush me and answer all my questions. I have purchased tires, brakes, go for regular oil changes and alignments and my car runs great!

My partner and I took our car to Goodyear in Penfield on 10/10/24 on our 2019 KIA Forte. When we arrived there was one employee on the phone and we waited until another employee came to serve us. We explained that we needed an inspection and tire rotation and he immediately said we had to pay $40 for the tire rotation, I countered by telling him that the tires were purchased there and were under guarantee. He then said that he needed to “look at the computer still” and confirmed that the rotation was covered under the guarantee. Then we sat for about an hour and a half and he came out and told us that he had “bad news”. He said we needed to have the rear calipers changed and that the total for the parts and work would be over $1,000.00, and that the inspection failed. He charged $21 for the inspection and said that the next one would be “free as long as you get your work done here”. He even made the motions as though he was looking for “aftermarket calipers” but claimed he failed in this and that we would be paying full price. He took me to show me what he was telling me and both rear wheels were removed and he showed me the calipers, which appeared moist but I couldn’t verify what the liquid was. We had a friend who is a mechanic look at it and he said nothing was wrong with the calipers, and that the lug nuts for the wheels were not when secured and were dangerous. We took the vehicle to another mechanic and it passed inspection and he said nothing was wrong with the breaks at all. My partner has been a customer there a long time, but we will never return to Goodyear because they are con artists and crooks and don’t know how to work on cars. Everyone beware of this business, they DEFINITELY engage in shady practices. My advise: save money and misery and AVOID this business. We are also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Goodyear for their fraudulent practices.

I called and got a same day inspection appointment. The staff were very nice and explained everything they did and need to do in the future. Special thanks to Nicholas. Will be back!

I brought my car in for an emergency service and had them replace my left front tire on the rim and mounted. It didn't take them long to book my appointment and have the work done. I only waited about an hour and the work was done in a timely and professional manner.

Showed up for oil change appointment to find out is was cancelled because they had to make room for some other vehicles or something. No call, text or update and was a waste of a trip. No point in making an appointment here.

Had a disappointing experience today. First off, the final price was significantly higher than expected when compared to the online discount I expected. But when my truck was done is when more frustration surfaced. There was grease all over my hood, door and door handle. I grabbed the service writer to show him, but I didn't make a big deal out of it because I was headed for the car wash across the street anyway. The greasy mechanic never reset the oil monitor and never put a window reminder sticker on either. I can only hope the real work was done correctly!

I had an odd repair, my muffler nearly fell off after a car wash. Shawn got me in and did a great job fixing everything and charged me a very fair rate. I was in and out in one hour! Very impressed with the service, would recommend to any family and friends.

I know have 3 cars that I take to this Goodyear for Tires and other support. The store manager is always courtesy, and even when the service bays are booked up, he works with me to accommodate my requirements. The technician repair/ replace what’s absolutely needed and they will recommend what “maybe “ needed in the future and why! I am very please with this Goodyear location !

On a holiday weekend had a true tire emergency and Stephany and her team stepped right up and got me back on the road! I can never adequate thank this Penfield Goodyear for the best service and care and prices and protection that they've provided me over many years. You can truly TRUST this group on every level. The car I own has special tires. They got them for me. Those tires were on a Road Hazard Plan and that plan does what it claimed. New tire and alignment all part of my coverage with this fantastic group people who got me on the road again. Bravo! to you all and know that I am a forever customer. My sincere and forever thanks.

We have four cars in our family and we take all four of them to Goodyear in Penfield. Sean, the store manager, is very competent, honest, knowledgeable and accommodating. The staff at Goodyear are always professional and do a great job explaining the services that you are receiving in detail along with an upfront estimate of costs. Sean is the reason that most people frequent the Penfield store. We have bought all of our regular tires as well as our snow tires from Goodyear. The price is always comparable to other tire stores and I love the rebates that Goodyear has (an added bonus!). Getting four cars in to change tires to snows and back again is no easy feat but Sean always manages to get all of our cars done in a timely manner. We have had every service done on the cars from NYS inspections, oil changes, brakes and alignments. Goodyear's alignment package (6 alignments in a 3-year period) is an awesome deal. The service is great, the personnel that work at the front desk (Sean and Rob) are knowledgeable and easy to deal with and the techs do a quality job on each of our cars. The mechanics at the Penfield Goodyear store are top notch with years of experience. All work is done fast with quality and efficiency in mind and usually finished before the time that it was promised. Fast, honest and quality service is what I always get. I have never had a bad experience at Goodyear and would never think of going anywhere else for our automotive needs.
