DO NOT RECOMMEND! We called to see if they could schedule my car in for some rear wheel/bushing area noises that have been going on for a few weeks. They were very flexible in terms of bringing the car in. Great! When I took it in at 8:00 am, they said they'd drive it around and see if they could hear the noise and fix it. They called 2 hours later and said they couldn't hear the noise. I gave them a few more instances in when the noise happens. They said great, we'll call you right back. I didn't hear from them for the REST OF THE DAY! The next morning, I initiated a call at 10 am. They hadn't done ANYTHING with the car since 10:19 am the prior day. Nothing. They said they'd drive it again and call me right back. Again, no call back. We called again at noon, they said they still couldn't hear anything, but they'd try it again. We initiated 4/5 phone calls while they had my car for two full business days and found nothing wrong with the car. If there's nothing wrong with it, and you can't hear an issue, call me and say that so I can come get my vehicle. Not having a vehicle for 2 days while they do absolutely nothing is terribly poor customer service! Will not return there! They apologize for not being able to hear the same noise, but they never apologized for not communicating with me in a timely manner, updating me in any way, or encouraging me to come get the vehicle since they couldn't recreate the sound.

We have taken all of our vehicles here for over 10 years for things as simple as oil changes, inspections, tires & alignment — to more complex like engine work, shocks, struts, brakes, etc. It’s great to walk into a place that knows you, and treats you like family. It’s also refreshing to see many of the same mechanics having now worked there for a long time as well. That tells me that this family-owned business not only treats their customers well, but also their employees.

This establishment had great service! KB was super helpful and knowledgeable about tires. They work to find you the best deals, and went the extra mile getting me transportation to my home during the install time. Will definitely be back in the future.

Today, I went to Griffin Tire & Auto on Brookshire for the very first time after stopping by another locally owned auto repair place that didn't offer the service that I needed, which was new tires. I was greeted by Heather when I walked in and she was very kind and personable. She took down my contact information and then proceeded to evaluate my tires in order to give me their best value. The store manager K.B. stepped in to offer assistance as well and assured me that they can perform the job. Before they performed any labor, she obliged my request to have the technicians verify whether or not I actually needed 3 new tires. Thankfully, Ty (the technician that worked on my car) determined that I only needed 2 new tires not 3. He was also kind enough to fix the wiring in my trunk after I told him that I could no longer open the trunk using the lever beside the driver's seat. I'm happy to say that every single member of the Griffin Tire staff on Brookshire provided incredible customer service today. I told them that I'd be back in the Fall for my annual inspection. 🙂

I arrived at 8:30 am guys were working on two cars already i was told id be next. Another customer showed up we were both told that we needed new tires and they were on the way, delivery guy shows with lady set of tires . 11am comes around my items finally arrive, the mechanic working on my car gets called in to the shop by the young lady doing the work orders she sends him to get breakfast i didnt get out of the place until almost 3 pm

Since moving to Charlotte in 2019, one of the first things on my priority list was to find an honest, reasonable, and professional mechanic. I’ve always kept my vehicle in running order. As my dad preached “ Take care of your car…and it will take care of you” Griffin Tire and Auto does just that for me and my 2013 Buick Enclave. From the receptionist in the front, the Brice overseeing the work in the garage. Recently my brother’s truck from Michigan started leaking while staying with us. Hoping for the best, it was determined to be minor than major. Fixing it while working with my brother on the right solution. Thank you Griffin for having the integrity and professionalism. Horrible customer service had me make appointment wait for 2 1/2 hrs only to have my car for 7 mins to tell me I need to go to the dealership because they don’t have time today to access the situation. Would never go there!

Fast friendly service. Went in for exhaust leak they said they could repair the leak with replacing exhaust system. Other places said exhaust system needed to be replaced. Highly recommend any of their 3 locations!!! Will be my future repair shop.
