The team at Griffis Auto Are always extremely pleasant, extremely kind, extremely wonderful. They have very fair prices and they do a beautiful job. I like how they offer you any bit of work that could be done to the car, but there’s no forcefulness in what they’re offering! Send pictures of everything so you know they’re not trying anything sketchy, as a young woman this is hard to find. Very honest people. Tim and Teresa are who I spoke with the most and they were absolutely lovely. Just wanted to leave a nice review for anybody wondering if they’re a good spot to use. Also, they’re so kind that if you bring your car over, they’ll give you a ride home while you wait for it to get all fixed up.

Best experience ever getting my car fixed. I've had several trips in my car and I still can't believe how smooth it runs. I didn't go to other shops to get quotes because I wanted my car fixed asap and this place was recommended by a friend, but I'm sure with the amount of work that was done and the car staying at the shop for three days, I must have paid a fraction of the dealer or chain shop price. Also the service and communication is first class. At every other place is quantity over quality. They'll fix your problem (and a lot of times do a terrible job at it) and move to the next customer, but at Griffis they'll take the time your car deserves and inspect it head to toe. Their communication was also very clear. They told me what to prioritize and what can be done little by little. They also go above and beyond to make good impressions and create relationships. They sent me a thank you card through the mail and called me a week after to ask how the car was doing. I cannot recommend Griffis highly enough, especially now with how high car prices are, you need a mechanic you can truly trust.

Recently took my 1998 Jeep Cherokee in for a wheel stud placement. Not only do they offer quality service, but the hospitality there of making you feel comfortable, the thoroughness of inspecting and properly doing a job with no short cuts, they actually LISTEN to what you have to say and not think “here’s another idiot who doesn’t know about cars.” Lol. I will be bringing back my business to Griffis. Tim, Matt and I unfortunately forgot the lady’s name who sits at the desk…but they were awesome. Thank you guys for a great experience. Tim, Theresa and the entire team at Griffis Automotive Repair have been talking care of our family vehicles for almost five years. They always stand behind their work and make every attempt to get my vehicle back to me as quickly as they can. Finding a repair facility you can trust is not easy these days and I trust Griffis Automative Repair completely to do exactly what is needed.

Have come for just about anything from installing aftermarket suspension parts and wheels, to replacing belts and fluids, they always knock it out. Tim even made the time to go on a ride along to diagnose an abnormal noise 20 minutes before they closed.

I’ve been taking my car to Griffis for the past few years, and I’m sorry I didn’t do it sooner instead of paying more at dealerships. They are not only thorough and trustworthy, they are good stewards of the community and support our local schools. My husband now brings his car to Griffis as well after too many frustrating experiences at the Ford dealership. Tim and Theresa always take good care of us. The check engine light came on in my work truck right around the time the ac went out. I needed to keep it off the road for a short a time as possible and work with a well respected local shop. They quoted me diagnostic price over the phone and gave me a clear sense of their availability. I dropped it off Monday late afternoon and had a call by noon Tuesday with a clear explanation of what was going on. Given the age of my truck they let me know what was recommended to take care of beyond the my immediate concerns. Nobody was pushy and they worked with me to prioritize what I needed to deal with right now and what I needed to space out. For the volume of work done I think it was a fair value for the expertise. I will happily use Griffis automotive again.

Every time I bring my autos to Griffis Automotive Repair, I am treated with the highest degree of customer service! They explain all services that need to be done and the cost of each one. I love dealing with them as they are so much more enjoyable than any Ford dealership!

Brought my van in for an evac/freon recharge. Found out the AC was bad and needed to be replaced. A very TRUSTED mechanic who went to work on my van told me that it did in fact need a new AC but the lines were good and no leaks what so ever. Also told me there was NO refrigerant in the system at all! So much so that he said there so no way at all it had just been charged. He said it was clear the was an evac, but no Freon added. My trusted mechanic then double Checked for any leaks in the system and re charged the van, then let it sit for 3 days. Freon stayed full and charged. I called Tim at Griffis and explained all this to him. He told me his mechanics notes said he did an evac and recharge so that’s all he has to go on. Waste of $234 (which is over priced for this job in the first place). I’m very disappointed this couldn’t be made right. Everyone seemed nice and to me this seems like an honest mistake. But no one wants to admit it.

By far the best mechanic shop around. You will NEVER find a more honest and upfront mechanic. They take their time and MAKE SURE they have correctly diagnosed your problem. Honest, reliable AND affordable - why would you want to go anywhere else. I highly recommend this shop!

My taillight bulb was shot, needed assistance getting the screws out for taillight, they were bolted shut. Called Griffis, spoke with Teresa and asked her how much would cost to have the bulb replaced, she said “we usually don’t charge for things like that, come on in and we’ll take a look!” Came in and spoke with Tim, he took a look at it, replaced my bulb with the new bulb I purchased within 5 mins, no cost. Trust me I wanted to compensate him for his time but he refused, told him I’d pay for it with a review instead. If you are thinking about calling them for a quote/availability, DO IT!! Thanks Tim, Teresa, and Griffis Auto Family!!!

Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. I have been coming here for over 25 years and I regret to say I will no longer be recommending them to my family and friends. Brought my truck in for repair work and when I got it back Tim was telling me they encountered some other issues and that the repair work they did may not work, and it may unfortunately require a much more expensive repair job. When I drove my truck away I could immediately tell it was having the same issues. So when I got home I checked the repair work-- I could not believe what I saw; it looked like somebody had used Thor's hammer to beat the new parts into submission! The next morning I went back and told Tim my truck was still acting up; he nodded and said he figured as much and that I needed the expensive repair.... I then showed him pictures of the shoddy repair work they did and chewed him out. He then admitted that I didn't need the expensive repair and said he would redo the original job correctly. So either he was lying and trying to cover it up, or he was simply incompetent; I will let you decide. IF you decide to take your car here please take pictures before and after the repair work and verify the job is done correctly and competently. Good luck and be wary. FOLLOWUP to OWNER'S RESPONSE: In your response you claim to have gone above and beyond your normal service to correct the botched repair you made on my car-- but in truth, you didn't even get that right. I spent an extra $850 on a new drive shaft, just to make your 2nd attempt as simple as possible; all you had to do now was install and torque 10 bolts. But when I got home I checked the bolts, and only 4 of the 10 were properly torqued.... the 2 carrier bearing bolts which were only supposed to have 27 ft-lbs were actually over 60 ft-lbs which could have resulted in premature failure if left uncorrected. Therefore I reiterate, after all these years, I will no longer recommend your garage to my family and friends, and I encourage others to look elsewhere, or at least take pictures and double-check any work done by your shop.

Tim is an honest man. I purchased a new battery from him and within a year it was dead he not only replaced it with a new one but he upgraded it for no charge. He was great to work with and I highly recommend him.

Writing ANOTHER review. I did not write a review until after calling and talking with Tim at the shop. The response to my review seems like a joke. No one wanted to hear me out or make things right until AFTER I wrote a review. Then I start getting calls and texts to try to “make things right” Give me a break! That’s why called in the first place. I hope the $238 was worth all this…………… Not interested in “fixing” things so you can improve your google star rating. Try doing the right thing to begin with. ✌️
