We took our 2 trucks to get our tires looked at as well as had other mechanical issues. We took our trucks to a couple other places and never got the problems fixed. Cody, the owner was very professional, honest, and with upright manner, got the job done right the first time around. Not only that but also had it done in a timely manner which we appreciate greatly. We highly recommend their work, and they got our business for life.

Such a great company. I had them do tires, rims, front light, back up lights, outfitter switches, level kit, and air bags on my tuck and tires and rims on my wife's Tahoe. Jeff and Cody were very easy to deal with and knowledgeable. Price was great and I am very pleased with the outcome.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Friendly service, great rates, long standing local business. Twice I've been surprised that the got the job done earlier than expected, once was a last minute drop off. Wes, Robbie, Cody, and the rest of the crew are absolutely amazing. I've been here a couple of times now, and each time they provide the best service I've ever had at a mechanic! They're extremely kind and professional and always get everything done in an timely manner. Also, they offer the best prices I've seen. Wouldn't recommend another shop ore than Gunnel's!

Several friends use these guys for their auto needs. I went today to have a used car I bought inspected. Spoke to Jeff when originally called & he is great!! Jay helped me when went for the inspection today. Met nice guys in lobby & love that these guys are honest!! Honest mechanic shops are hard to come by!! Highly recommend this business 👌

These guys are amazing. Jeff and his team are what has become almost non existent in the service world-competent, honest, and professional. I have a number of cars, both new and vintage, and would trust Gunnells with any of them. I recently had them install new tires and have an alignment done on my 1973 Volkswagen, which is lowered, with custom wheel and tire size, and took me nearly a decade to build-so i really care about this car. Jeff made sure the guys used rubber pads on the lift to protect the finished chassis, without me even having to ask-they sized the tires properly and did an excellent job on the alignment-this car has never driven so straight and true. I also had them repair flat tires for my 1950 VW. Another shop missed some details on the installation, which, along with another vendor supplying incorrect sized tubes, caused two flats in few miles. Gunnells didn't just fix them and send me on my way-they took the time to figure out what was causing the flats, and found the correct tubes and stem washers, installed everything and balanced them properly. The work was done quickly, cleanly, properly, and for a very reasonable price, and they communicated their timeline as they figured things out. EXCELLENT experience.

I had a great experience at Gunnels Tire and Brakes. The staff is absolutely amazing! The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to explain everything clearly. They provided quick service without cutting corners. My car is running smoothly, and I feel confident in the quality of their work. Highly recommend them for anyone needing tire or brake services!

Jeff takes care of each customer that comes in and treats them like they are the most important customer they have. They are honest, trustworthy, and conservative with their diagnostics. Not to mention the quality of work they perform is top notch. Can not recommend this particular Gunnels locations enough!

My father-in-law recommended this place after bringing his car here for years, and it was a good recommendation. They didn’t charge me for a diagnostic, and when they found expensive solutions for my car’s small problem, they didn’t pressure me into fixing it. I walked out of there with a printed quote in case I ever wanted to do the repair, but I appreciated the integrity with them not pressuring me into an expensive repair. I’ll definitely be bringing my car back when it needs future maintenance because they earned my trust.

I have been coming to this Gunnell's group for 20+ years. They gained my loyalty with their honesty, EXCELLENT mechanics and amazing customer service. I found them by faking a problem. The two shops I went to before Gunnell's (which used to be on Mesa Drive and Main) told me I needed expensive repairs. I walked into Gunnell's and was greeted by Jeff Duran and Jon Boren. I told them the 'problem' and their master mechanic, Kevin, along with other mechanics looked my car over. Jeff came in with a smile and said,'Well, we can't find anything wrong...' THAT'S when I knew I found the perfect place! Do not hesitate to bring your vehicle to 1501 E Main. The staff may be a bit different than it was 20 years ago, but Jeff is still there and the service is unmatched!!! I HIGHLY recommend this establishment!

If you are going anywhere else for your automotive needs you should give Gunnels a shot. Every time I come here I get the same consistent and professional treatment, the employees are wonderful. They are honest and take care of their customers. They treat you fairly and you will never feel pressured by them. Special shout out to Kat!!! If you go anywhere else you are paying too much!!!

Very respectable business. Explained what was needed to fix the issue, all without trying to upsell anything. They did find another issue and even suggested a different place for a cheaper outcome. I would highly recommend Gunnell to anyone. I live in San Tan Valley, and it is well worth the drive to a trustworthy shop!

Always been treated fairly. Honest service at a fair price. And when I say always, I mean ALWAYS. What more can I add? Just a great bunch of folks. Took a flat in. In and out. 10, 15 minutes tops. No charge. I love those guys. They were able to jerry rig a temporary headlight while we are waiting for another repair shop to order a front quarter panel. Just bought four new tires. High quality tires for a very reasonable price. These guys are great. Just had an oil change. Did a great job.

Im incredibly disappointed IN MYSELF for having been a customer of this amazing Business for so long now and Never wrote them a review. They offer a ton of services that I personally can say I have used. Alignments , tires /wheels , oil changes , steering problems , transmission work of various kinds. Not to mention I have large Cab over vehicles so they are capable of working on so much. If you ever wait it’s because there are so many people who want to do business with them. Which speaks volumes of positive work. I think they are the best. And there is a lot of option out there I understand this. I have ran multiple large fleets and currently my own trucks and I trust these guys more than anyone. Oh and I drive almost an hr to go there. It’s not like they are the closest to me. It’s about quality of service and work. Thanks guys.

Last week, I took in my lawn mower wheel with a flat tire for a repair estimate. Bobby gave me the estimate and then said, "Let me re-seat the tire on the rim for you." He returned, and I said that I was going to put the wheel in a bucket of water to find the leak. He said that he would do that for me. When the leak was discovered, he put a plug in the leak. He then put another plug in the hole. He wouldn't take any payment! Quick, outstanding service that I will remember!

My aunt recommended me here so far so good I have an appointment at the end of the month so we’ll see how that goes so far the customer service is really on point spoke with 3 different people all nice and pleasant Follow up after service: same 5 stars. I like shops like this where they’re super busy but they have a lot of employees and the employees look happy to be there. Everyone I came into contact with was pleasant and patient as I had a lot of questions and concerns. They also have a great finance program where you can pay off the cost of the repairs in 90 days with no interest. I was approved in minutes. Highly recommend this establishment as it was recommended to me and now I see why!!!

These guys are great I needed specific truck and trailer tires, full sets for both they had the trailer tires in stock and they overnighted the truck tires and got me going first thing in the morning
