This shop is wonderful, I’ve taken my car here 3 times for separate occasions and they got my car done in a timely manner. Tim has been very helpful and communicative!! I completely enjoyed this shop. I’ll keep bringing my cars here tbh

Hands down I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality service!!!!Guys automotive saved me from a horrible situation and I’m incredibly grateful for the work these guys put into helping fix my Jeep. From the beginning.. I ran into a situation where my car would not start and I had no idea why. I googled the closest shop from where I live and I stumbled across a place called Clark’s automotive.. had my car towed there only to be told nothing simple could be fixed on my car ( upon getting the car towed I had suspected my battery was dead or I needed a new starter) Clark’s automotive said no no the car has engine failure and could not be fixed.They recommend I start calling around to junk yards to find someone who would buy the car because it would cost more to fix my 2019 jeep than it’s worth. The situation had me stressed the hell out because I wasn’t given a reason why this could happen or how it could be fixed. Fast forward to the next day.. I called around to a few mechanic shops and one in Tampa suggested I try Guys automotive because they are the only people in town who know how to fix newer cars, especially my make and model. I called Guys automotive and that’s when I spoke to TIM. I told Tim what was going on and asked him if he could take a look at the car for a second opinion. I asked him to be honest and please let me know if he thought my Jeep was fixable. Tim’s exact words were “everything is fixable” let me take a look and let you know what we need to do. When I tell you, his professionalism, follow up and general honesty gave me sooo much relief. When he called me back with a diagnosis he broke down the specifics of what was wrong with my car, he told me what needed to be done, what the cost would be. You could tell he is a experienced mechanic and his motive is not to bullshit people. He made me feel like I could trust him just by simple conversation. I have never met this man but just by talking to him I felt like I was in good hands! The next call I received the next day I was told my car was up and running and guess what.. my engine did not fail! Yes I had some damage and needed new parts that included a new starter, battery and spark plugs but the fact of the matter is they took care of business. Moving forward I will always trust guys automotive- in particular TIM because he made my experience at this shop exceptional and although I live all the way in Riverview I will tow/ drive my car to Guys automotive for service because they are the best! I am just so grateful for what they did to help me!

They told me I needed a new transmission on my 2018 Toyota with less than 70,000 miles. Thought this was weird especially since my car had no signs of transmission issues. Got a second opinion and it was just the breaks grinding and a loose bearing, which is what I initially suggested. Almost got scammed $7,000. Especially frustrating bc the mechanic was saying how “sorry he was” that this happened.

Ripped off! They charged me $271 to remove a rodent from my AC and the mechanic was puking, so I Removed the Mouse Myself.

I have a Bi-polar 2007' Dodge 4x4 with a 9in lift and 37's that went in there for mental therapy and came out with a new computer and tuned ...Very happy legit place..

Beware, do NOT under any circumstance bring a Mini Cooper(or other vehicles) to this shop. After $3k in repairs, less than a week later my engine nearly caught fire by reaching almost 300 degrees because of negligent work. This could have caused me serious harm. I had to have my vehicle towed, I now have no vehicle whatsoever, and am forced to endure even more financial strain in an attempt to purchase a new car. Not to mention, they quoted me $600 for parts that I found for $160 online no problem. Such a scam and now I’m completely screwed. I regret choosing this shop immensely, and should have listened to the reviews warning about obscene pricing.

Guy automotive is one of the best there is. Fair honest and excellent work. I took a star off for Alex,who answers the phone for guy in the Hillsborough Ave office. He never forwarded the message back to him , just trying to rush me off the phone. Hence I had the service done somewhere else. So Guy lost business, because of Alex. It's like you go to a great Dr.,but their front office staff is terrible. It takes away from the Dr.

I had the best experience coming here. They are very honest and fair. I took my moms truck in on Friday and they had it repaired before the end of the day. I finally feel safe and secure driving it. It feels amazing. I recommend them to everyone I know.

They fixed a broken bolt for me never talked about prices after fixed they overcharged me which was almost 300 dollars and i paid them one of my new installed parts which I’m the only one who works on my car well if was damaged coming to a conclusion they damaged that part I wouldn’t recommend coming to these rats

I called this establishment and gave them the make/model of my car. I asked them for a estimate on how much to change a brake light bulb and mentioned I already bought the bulb just needed them to put it in for me and the man that I spoke to on the phone told me $90-$100 not including the service fee to change a bulb! So I called Fix to go auto care center who literally change the bulb for $10 in less than 5minutes. This place is doing some serious scamming. I wondered would he have told a male the same thing.

After charging me 1300 for what I was told was a repaired vehicle I was almost killed on i275 due to the vehicle stopping in the interstate nearly causing a crash with a semi truck. This shop could have killed me. They refuse to supply a rental after my truck died again and state that they got the car to turn on and drive so it’s not their fault. I have to miss thanksgiving with my family this year because of them. Never take your vehicle there. They are liars and crooks.
